A while ago, jealousy kicked in when I saw my cousin have his new iPhone. I freaking saw it when we were in their XLT. There's no doubt that my aunt or uncle overseas gave it to him. I don't know why they gave it to him if I knew that I deserved it better. My evil thoughts said that I deserved it better since I got a higher academic rank than him. I also thought that I would have a better career than him. So, why didn't I get any consideration? He may be favored or what? I never told my parents since I knew that she would talk about it with her peers. Regardless of this envious feeling, I remained optimistic. I just rolled my eyes since my relatives already gave my cousin their old iPhone twice. On the other hand, I didn't get anything. It's more upsetting since I thought that the phone I've an eyeing for my aunt would be given to me. Usually, she doesn't have to use multiple phones. Then, a year later, I was surprised that she gave it to my cousin. During those times, they gave their old iPhone to my siblings and my mom. I felt jealous at that time since I was struggling to get a new phone. Now, history repeats again. Sometimes, I awe myself since I'm enduring my phone's battery issue. My only solution to keep it running is to power it using a power bank. I am not jealous only because of the phone. My relatives also have an Apple Watch, AirPods, and most of the Apple ecosystem. Don't get me wrong with this feeling, lol. I am just saying what I feel. Whenever I think about this thing, I know that I will win in life. I have already done it multiple times. There are a lot of examples to cite, of course. We need to divert this jealousy into something that will fuel our drive to become better. God knows that I am not much into for second-hand items! As long as he doesn't flaunt it as a shade to me, we won't get any problems.
