My younger sister teased me a while ago when I would have a girlfriend. This topic is not new, considering I am already in a legal age. Yet, this topic is something I don't want to discuss. I just told her that I was not interested, even if they introduced me to a girl, boy, bisexual, gay, or lesbian. I can't imagine myself bearing a child or being tied to someone. It's not inevitable that most of my batchmates already have their current partner. For example, when I led our research, I learned that 1/3 of them were in a relationship. Two out of six of my college friends have a boyfriend already. I only shared these sentiments because I know being in a relationship at my age is already legal and normal. I am already 20, for God's sake. If you stalk my Facebook account, you won't see any posts that I want to have a partner. How would I love someone if I could not yet love myself? Loving myself doesn't mean that I romanticize myself; it means acceptance, building your worth, and treating yourself with respect. I can say that I finally love myself if I have already provided myself with a better future and earning money. That's my form of love language for myself. I want to use it meaningfully if I already have enough money. I only shared it since I am not looking for anyone.
