Mental health awareness is currently a focus of my social media. Many people appear happy on the outside. However, others feel not okay on the inside. My relatives yesterday were articulating about the death of Kim Atienza's daughter. My mom highlighted that the root of Emman's depression is due to her genes. Different struggles play a role in her commitment to kill herself. When I was 17 years old, I remember that I was in my passive suicidal stage. Fortunately, I remained optimistic and wrote whatever came my way. That's my way to release my frustration. Three years later, I can't believe that I achieved many things that I thought I couldn't reach. Every time I thought about this, I always thanked God for redirecting me in life. I'm not saying this to highlight that depression doesn't exist. All I wanted to say is that there are a lot of ways to cope with it. You can do it by talking to a psychologist, sharing it with your parents or relatives, or finding solace in Faith. As long as you help yourself, everything will be okay!
