My Experience with Periscope

Hi, I've been trying a new app called Periscope for the past few weeks, I'm thinking. Let me briefly state, it is currently only released on iOS operating system, it is expected to come to Android, you can download and review. In short, you broadcast live to the world from your iPhone's camera, showing yourself, telling your ideas, showing the venues. Immediately after going live, people from various parts of the world who "touch" your broadcast at that moment connect and start watching what your camera sees. Communication is also a little different, the broadcaster speaks and the connected ones write. The screenshot looks like this, you can send a "heart" to the broadcasts you like by touching the screen.

Of course, every technological development is a result of previous advancements, 3G / 4G networks could not be Periscope unless 3G / 4G networks were capable of sending video. If they weren't in a sharing frenzy, Periscope wouldn't be happening again. But now all this has come true, and now is the time.

For a while, I have been traveling from branch to branch for 5 seconds, looking at what & where people share, we can categorize it as follows,

- People who point the screen at their face, don't say anything and say "let's ask me a question"

- People who are walking in various places, who want to introduce the place, say "look how beautiful this place is"

- Single homes, student houses, young people groups, those who want to broadcast their deer to the world

- The tigers on the hunt to see if we can get girls out of here,

- a short time, people have created their own original channels, but there are people who suddenly famous Periscope is one example, with participants making drawings, it gives people the creative process.

- Those who broadcast the invisible moments of famous people, the pre-concert hairdressing session, those behind the scenes of a news channel, the live broadcast of radio programs, the ones who have a TV program and talk to their fans on Periscope.

- Those who have something to say around a theme, those who broadcast in a short time, talk about the subject and direct their speech according to the immediate reactions... These are the ones with a master plan ..

- Those broadcasting a sports event, a social event, an accident, a live play of a piece of music, an art gallery tour. (Periscope's debut story was based on this idea, it was the idea that emerged during the Gezi events, they created two young Iranians and sold them to Twitter)

- Sharing an expert presentation, a creative process on a topic and contributing from the participants

In total, Periscope satisfies our desire to peek at other people's lives, reducing this curiosity to the screen of the phone we have. Where can it go from here? I think the business world will adopt this idea and it will be more effective as a way of delivering different contents to the general audience.

I also plan to broadcast, but I will have a theme, it will have a certain period of time and it will be consumed there, so the incoming tracks, the ones that do not come, miss. Have fun…
