Shooting droplets with a smartphone Photography is one of my favorite hobbies ... Loving it for ever, but giving it more time for the past 2 years (approximately) Smartphones helped a lot with that, not everyone can lay their hands on a camera .. or buy one :( Since the first quarantine, I discovered by accident .. macro shots - taking them on a phone! I just happened to move my phone closer to a ladybug and when I was looking at the photos after a while, I realized it looked amazing! (in my eyes at least) Since then, I found a lot of things that fascinate me .. and I am sure there is a lot to be discovered yet One of the themes I like to shoot is droplets .. on leaves, on the ground, on flowers.. on pretty much everything.. Let's see some of my recent images of drops
I have a small garden that mostly has roses, so many of my images are with roses This is a close up of an opened up rose
This is another close up of a very young baby rose :)
I really liked the angle of this rose to be honest so I just had to share this too!
After the rain, everything looks more clear!
And when it is raining too much, I am sitting in my car and taking photos outside :) To take these images, I try to get as close as I can with my smartphone. I click on the screen to make the image looks clear - because if I dont, the photo will be blurry. Do you have any tips for shooting drops? My smartphone's camera is not too good at macros. Are these also by smartphone?
Yes, all of them are taken with a smartphone. iPhone7 if I am not mistaken I have also shot with samsung, I will try to share soon :)
It is amazing what you can do with a smart phone camera. I do use my smart phone, although in many instances I prefer my Canon EOS Rebel T5. It took awhile before I understood what a macro-lens could do. I am still learning and take many photos of the same thing so i can choose the best. Your photos are wonderful to view. Thank you.
