Points Fluctuating
Hello ReadCash! I'm just curious. It's been a week since I joined. Some changes are made and when I started accumulating points I have observed something. So, everyday I earn a certain total of points and it goes to the $ portion on top. I observed even if I earned it already, the amount kept on changing. For example, from $2.89 it went down to $2.84. And then the next hour it went down to $2.81. At first I thought maybe I get downvotes on my articles or comments but I should've been notified. I double checked my articles if there are downvotes but I see nothing. I don't know maybe I missed something. So at the back of my mind I'm also suspecting that fluctuation might be because of the fluctuating exchange rate of BCH. Did I get it righ @Read.Cash?? Please do correct me if I'm wrong. Can I get a short explanation regarding this fluctuation so I will understand more? Sorry if I missed any post about this. Thanks in advance.

[EDIT: this was an incorrect answer] At the end of the day all points earned for the last 24 hours would be combined, burned (point balance becomes zero) and daily amount from the fund would be distributed proportionally to the points. Payment happens as soon as the fund donors go online (warning: this might take days). The more points people earn per day (in total), the less price of each point is.
I agree with that. I experienced it too this day. I think I was just mistaken but reading your article makes me think that it really decreased. I think you need to withdraw it immediately. 🤷♀️

If it has to do with the value of Bitcoin cash you better withdraw when it's at it's top. That is what you do with cryptocurrencies if you trade. You sell if it's worth more and buy if it drops.
I think it is because of the value of Bitcoin cash. Just like all cryptocurrencies, the price is not steady. This influences the value of the $ you see.
Yup it's what I observed, too. I keep wondering so I tried looking for answers to see if I get it right.
Oh, wait, I read your question incorrectly, you and other commenters are right - there is only Bitcoin Cash on site, we show USD amounts using current exchange rate, so when it changes - the amount changes too - see coinmarketcap.com for the price.
