Have a nice evening with the Noise family! I arrived from work finally. Time check. 11:55 pm The first working day is over. I had to work a lot, I'm very tired. This is a pizzeria in Austria, the boss is Turkish. At 10 a.m. when I got there, the boss said that at 11 a.m., 50 retirees would arrive for lunch. They all ordered a drink and got fried meat with french fries and a mixed salad. I was the single waitress. And it went like this all day, the guests just came, everyone ordered food, drink. I didn’t eat, I didn’t drink anything, I couldn’t even go to the toilet, only just at 10 p.m. I don’t feel my legs, it hurts so much. And most beautiful of all, I didn’t get any money for this day. They didn't even give me the tip. This has never happened to me before The boss said this day was a rehearsal. That alone doesn't work that way. He should have paid this day too! After that, I don’t know what to say. I am very sad and disappointed. I worked as much as an animal! The boss was very pleased with me, he said, and then we'll talk. Honey, I'm sorry to hear that. And in Romania, most restaurant managers do not pay on the first day, although they work for 3 days. I did not work in Romania but in Spain, I worked in the Restaurant for 13 years. And behind the bar, and in the hall, and in the kitchen, even in the nightclub, I wanted to go home in my hands. Exactly 12h, / day even 15h / day in the club, so I know what you're talking about! But it was worth it, because I was taking a tip, another salary. I know the Turks very well. I also worked in Turkey, a long time ago, between 1991-1996, also in a restaurant. It was an ok experience, fortunately, but most employers there, too, do not pay the first day, they pay little compared to the workload.
