I worked in the garden in the afternoon. It was a wonderful, warm summer weather even today, +27 degrees, swimsuit program. And all of a sudden, I noticed that there was a beautiful, golden-backed, metallic-green beetle in the wooded basket. I helped him get out of there with a little thin wooden board. Of course I took photos of it. And then I put him on the ground, in the grass, and he drilled himself into the ground and disappeared. I later looked at what kind of beetle it was. And this cute rose beetle (Cetonia aurata) belongs to the family of shepherds. And you can’t believe what your favorite food is. The wild rose. 🌸🌿🌸 And I put him right there in the grass. He loves other roses too. Beautiful this beetle, with its metallic green and gold color, about 2 cm long, completely enchanted me. It was hard to let him go, I loved him very much. In one of the photos, you can see him opening his dark blue wings. I had time to observe how slowly he moves, how much he clings to his long legs. He is a wonderful creature of nature.
