Two days ago I woke up at the same time as I always do....5a.m,just like every other day. I sat at the edge of the bed and rubbed my eyes. I slipped my house shoes on and sleepily stumbled to the laundry room to get a towel and clothes so I could take my morning shower.
I walked into the bathroom and turned the hot water on in the shower, I undressed and stepped in and pulled the curtain closed behind me. The hot water felt awesome. First I grabbed my bottle of body wash and lathered up, then I grabbed the shampoo and began to wash my hair. As I was scrubbing away, thinking about the day,my stomach began to rumble, thanks from the chili and beer from the night before.
I hurried to finish, but wasn't quick enough. Against my will,a fart slipped out. I didn't think it was as bad as it was until the gas mixed with the heat, and ultimately reached my nostrils.
At my last chance of survival,I breathed in deep and held my breath. As I frantically scrubbed and rinsed,I now realised that I was trapped in a home made gas chamber.
Just when I thought all hope was lost,I rinsed my eyes and looked down at the drain. Success!!! No more soap!!! I quickly turned off the water and jumped out. As my feet hit the rug,I blew out and again breathed in the precious life giving air that I was deprived of just seconds before.... I'm thankful that I made it out alive
