You read it correctly: I'm going to show you what I've created as a crocheter. Just a simple story: I learned and practiced crochet in order to earn money. Crochet is more than simply a hobby; it may also be a source of income. 6 months ago, I was so broke that I sold my paperang p1 that I had previously invested in from my small business only to buy yarns and hooks. I purchased some materials and it was kinda epic since I purchased large hooks. Haha. Fortunately, I still had enough money to purchase a specific hook for my yarns.
Crocheters, on the other hand, are underappreciated in my community. They didn't value the time and effort you put into the finished product as a crocheter. However, one of my co-crocheters advised us that if they are unable to appreciate your work, it signifies that they are not your target consumer.

This is the very first one I created. It's quite decent, but just the little cup fits on it. Haha. This is what I assume to be the easiest one to crochet, so I gave it a shot.
Because the previous one was relatively unsuccessful, I created a new one. Not one, but six pieces. Haha. This time it fits nicely on my normal cup. I adore the color; it represents hope for our BCH's future.
When you start something new, I assume there is always going to be a failure. Haha. I began out making bucket hats, but look what I ended up with. It was too small even if it's for my hand. Haha. Another failed attempt, but I'll try again.
It still somewhat failed the second time around. The upper part is bulky, as you can see, but look how happy my nephew is. He's always eager to try anything I've made. He was always keen to try them on. Isn't he adorable?
I finally constructed a decent bucket hat after several attempts. I'm glad I made one that didn't fail. After I finished it, I wanted to capture myself using it. One of my friends suggested I make it seem like a frog bucket hat after I shared it on my story. I just realized it was green, thus it's ideal for being styled like a frog.
This is how it looked when it was done. It became even more fantastic when I put eyes to it. I also shared it on my story to give an idea to a friend whose suggestion I liked. Numerous people have asked me how much it would cost to build one for them, and I have given them my price. However, they appear to have been caught off guard by the price. It's just really sad, but some of them still want to buy but with a new design, so I said *sure, that shouldn't be a problem.*
This was my first paid commission. It is for a one-year-old baby girl, and her mother liked it since it matches her baby well. I am overjoyed that my first buyer was pleased.
Unfortunately, one of my aunties asked me to make one for her. She chose a pale pink color. When I finished it, she told me to take a photo of it when it was worn, so I did, and I sent it to her. She complimented me on how lovely it was and how well it suited me. She mentioned that she would get this soon because she did not have any money at the time. But that was 5 months ago, and she still hasn't gotten it. That's so sad.
These were made for my two lovely cousins. They are from Manila, and it was late when I heard they would return to Manila the next day. I hurriedly crafted these because I wanted to give them something. Fortunately, I can make these. Haha. It was my first time making a bandana, and it turned out beautifully. My other cousin enjoys it as well.
I also made this one, and don't ask how many times I failed. Haha. I made this for my best friend and delivered it to her as a present. She said she loves it. Because of the details, it was difficult to create one at first. I won't be able to make one unless I watch a tutorial on YouTube. Consider how lovely it will be when worn. I'd like to wear one, but my size was a concern. Haha.
This one is incredible. How come you can turn a regular charger cord into a stunning chord with crochet yarns? This is when I realized that yarn can be used for anything. With the help of your mind, you can create a spectacular one. Just be imaginative, I suppose. I simply seen it on Facebook and decided to give it a shot.
Last Valentine's Day, this was my best seller. I am quite fortunate to have a large number of buyers for my crochet flowers. I can't recall when I posted it on my shopee account and on Facebook before Valentine's Day, but I still had customers. That is also why I haven't had time to post on noise.cash. I was so busy making crochet flowers at the time, but I'm thankful that God answered my prayer for a high number of orders. God is great.
This is how it looks before packing. Before I put it on the box and pouch, I took a picture of it and forwarded it to the buyer. Some consumers purchase this type of unique flowers. Of course, it is more expensive than a single one.

Once In A Lifetime Destinations.

Where do you want to go at least once in your life? I'm sure you have a long list of places you'd like to visit soon. What makes you want to go there? One of the reasons I aspire to be successful is to visit different countries around the world. I'd like to spoil myself by visiting those beautiful tourist attractions and sampling their delectable cuisine.
Before I travel to other countries, I plan to visit some of the most beautiful places in my own country, the Philippines. Boracay, Banaue and the Rice Terraces, Bohol Island, and Siargao are all popular tourist destinations. If I'm not mistaken, Boracay has more than 12 beaches, making it the most popular destination not only for tourists but also for our fellow Filipinos. Siargao is widely regarded as the Philippines' Surfing Capital. I had never heard of this location until I saw a YouTube video of Andi Eigenmann surfing there. I'd like to give it a shot soon, and please wish me luck if I succeed. Haha.
Countries/Places that I wanna visit if I get a chance
Let us now move on to my main point. I hope that one day I will be able to visit all of the countries listed below rather than just dreaming about it. Haha. Who can say?
Maldives
The Maldives is well-known not only for its excellent diving and snorkeling opportunities, but it is also a great place to stay during a honeymoon. Haha. Excuse the word; I couldn't think of anything else to call it. How romantic to be here with your partner, taking in the breathtaking scenery and sipping some delectable wines. Look at how beautiful the view is; I could live there for a year or more if I could afford it.
Just a quick story: my friend and I had planned to visit the Maldives. We'd like to try our hand at being wealthy. We also agreed that if one of us became successful, the other would treat one of us to a trip there. But it would be incredible if both of us were successful.
South Korea
Who wouldn't like to travel South Korea? Who doesn't want to see those hot Oppas that we usually see in kdrama series? But even if we go to South Korea, we probably wouldn't be able to see them wandering around the area where we are. Aside from those oppas, I'd like to try their foods. Korean cuisine is out of this world. I want to try all of their authentic foods. I will undoubtedly go to the store that sells the Subway sandwiches that I saw my idol eating.
The photo above is from the Namsan Seoul Tower, also known as the N Seoul Tower for short. I've seen this view a few times in kdramas, most notably in **The Legend of the Blue Sea**. Have you already watched it? It was my first kdrama, which I watched when I was in grade 10. I remember how I used to save my allowances just to load for data to watch it every Friday. I've also noticed it on the series **While You Were Sleeping**. I was so enamored with kdramas that I wished to visit Korea at least once in my life.
The Great Pyramid of Egypt
The Pyramid of Giza is one of the places I'd like to visit. I'd heard a lot about Egypt, particularly the Pyramids. This pyramid was constructed from bricks and stone, and it is the largest structure in the universe. I also know that this Pyramid is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World to have survived to the present day. It was constructed for religious purposes. I want to go because I've only seen it on TV and read about it in the Bible. I can't imagine how good the workers had to be back then to build such a sturdy Pyramid. One of the places I'd like to visit is the Pyramid of Egypt.
The Eiffel Tower
Aside from the Maldives, the Eiffel Tower is a romantic destination worth visiting. Did you know this tower used to be yellow? I'm not sure, my classmate just told me about it. My classmate is a fan of Eifell Tower, and he has always told us that he wants to go there with his girlfriend. Isn't the girl extremely fortunate? He was also the one who informed us that it was built to commemorate the centennial of the French Revolution. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to go there. Let's go there and eat some delectable foods. Hehe.

Answering Questions with Honesty

Way back in my high school years, one of my teachers often give us one question a day before we start our lesson. He believes that it will enhance and wake up our sleeping minds. Be honest, some of you experience daydreaming in class and not giving attentions to the teacher. He gives simple question that can be answered 5-10 minutes.
Since some of my favorite content creators here are writing articles that is question and answer portion, I also prepared mine. Hehe. I used to answer these questions way back then, so I wanna give it a try again.
1. How many languages do you speak?
I can speak 3 languages such as Tagalog, English and Korean. It can be 4 if Ilocano is a language but I think it's a dialect. Am I right? But yeah, Ilocano is my mother tongue. I can speak Tagalog because I live in Philippines and our national language is Tagalog. I can speak English, not that fluently but I think it's understandable. I added Korean because I currently doing self study of Korean Language. It sounds impossible but one of my dreams are going to Korea soon. Maybe 6 years from now. Haha. I can speak Korean but far from perfection, their language is easy to learn if you love to watch their series and listen to their songs. My nephew imitates me when I am at my mirror talking to myself. Haha.
2. What is an ideal life for you?
Basically, an ideal life for me is what I am right now. Enjoying life and being contented of what I have right now. I am not in a rush when it comes to my success because I know God is preparing it for me at the moment. I believe in God's time. I really love my life these past few months, have a small business, happy family and environment, making crochets and writing a post on noise.cash. I also want to add writing an article here. Aside from that, it is an ideal life for me that me and family are healthy in this time of pandemic or crisis. I live in a simple way that having a cup of coffee three times a day makes my life more ideal. Hahaha. Who doesn't want coffee anyways?
3. What is one thing you will never do again?
I cannot think of one because I have so many. Haha. You know, being a teenager has a lot of things that you wanna try. One thing that I will never gonna do again is to hike a hill. I didn't expect it to be that long and hard to climb. Let me show you later the hill that I climbed once in my life that I will not gonna do again. I once do it when I was in my teenager years but until now I can still feel the tiredness. Haha
4. On a scale of 1-5, how funny would you say you are?
I think 4. I am funny especially within my comfort zone. Not gonna lie but I'm the joker of the group. If you ask me why just 4 not 5? Technically, I am funny but not when I am with others. I rarely be funny when my surroundings are not my crowd or people. Some of my schoolmate's first impression to me was prickly or snobbish but I am not. At first, I am shy and not gonna start a conversation with you and people conclude that I am prickly and something. Later on, when we're hanging out, they realized that their first impression to me is not who I am. I am so funny but I always think before I drop the joke to avoid being insensitive with their feelings. I am also the funny one on our home, they are always laughing when I am with them.
5. What is you biggest pet peeve?
I am so annoyed when someone is eating or drinking loudly. You can be mad at me but I hate it the most. I think I am not the one whose biggest pet peeve is eating or drinking loudly. My mother calls them goat because you can hear every chews on their mouth. In particular, when someone has a chewing gum and he/she chews it loudly. It gets into my nerves and definitely I will lose my attention on what I am doing at that moment.
6. Are you happy?
I added this as a bonus question since I rarely got this question in my whole life. The downside of being funny is that they think that you're always happy but deep down you are sad and having an anxiety. I suggest you to ask whoever you are with right now when they are happy. Give them comfort.
To answer this question, at the moment I am happy. I am happy because I am safe, I am healthy physically, mentally and spiritually. I never felt this before. They are right when they say that the more you are busy on yourself, the less you feel the sadness and anxiety. How funny of me that sometimes I wanna make drama but my schedule cannot. Hahaha. I have so many things to do and I have no time to cry or to be sad. But yeah, it feels so good to be in this state of my life.

Am I late for the 3.3 shopee budol? All my orders from shopee last March 3, arrived few days ago. I always order stuffs when it's on sale, not because of the discounts from the product itself but also the cashback and free shipping. I look for the shop that I can apply my free shipping and cashback vouchers, I'm from province so the shipping fee is more expensive than the usual.
Today I am going to rate and review what I bought. Let me tell you if it was worth the price or not. I am gonna rate them from 1-5, just like how we rate on shopee. Let's start?

I bought the color green one. I am not supposed to buy this but they gave me 50 pesos off, so who am I not to accept it. Hahaha. The usual price was 225 and I only bought it for only 175. The sound is good quality, I can use it when I have calls. The only problem is when I'm watching Tiktok, it's delay sometimes. But its all good.
Disposable Facemask

I consistently buy Facemask every time there is a free shipping. It is very useful to us especially to my sister that is working outside. She is not allowed to use washable facemask. They're required to use disposable one and throw it after use in a day. My rate is 5/5 since it is very useful and the price is very cheap compared to other shop. I only bought the 50 pieces for only 30 pesos or 0.60 dollar. This 3.3 sale I bought 4 with different colors enough to use before the next sale. Hehe
Ring Light

I used to dream to have one. Haha. I don't know but it feels illegal to buy something that is not important for me. Fortunately, I need to buy this for my product shooting. When it comes to business, you need to post you product nicely with details to catch the eye of the customer. I also use this as my light when we already switched off the room light. What good on this is that there are 3 options for the light. I bought it for only 3 dollars and i can say that it is worth the price.
Motion Sand Playset

There is a story why my sister asked me to buy this. While she's scrolling on her facebook feed, she saw someone that is selling set of motion sand set, portable writing tablet and building blocks for 999 pesos or 20 dollars. I told her that we can buy them separately that is cheaper than that. She agreed and then we buy one. I rate it with 5/5 because my nephew loves it. He plays it every now and then. I've observed that he plays it instead of using his phone. But I cannot assure you that he will not get tired of playing it. Haha. Anyways, I bought it for only 169 pesos and it is worth it.
Non Stick Frying Pan

This one is not mine. My boyfriend asked me to order this for their house. The reason is that he was excited to buy something for their house but the shipping system on their location is err. No comment. I don't know why the shipping day in my place is very fast. Imagine, I am from province, I ordered from Metro Manila and it will only took 2 days to deliver to me. So fast dear. This item is amazing for its price that 299 pesos. My boyfriend told me that it is worth it and he will gonna order different kitchen tools again from that shop.
Wireless Mouse

This one is amazing! I bought this for only 1 dollar and it is so good to use. Last time I got the chance to buy laptop. It is from my sales in my crochet sunflower. In God's grace, I sold a lot of sunflower bouquets. The laptop has it's own laptop bag, mouse and charger but I wanna buy a wireless mouse so it is not hassle for me. I love to use this one because it's convenient and so cheap. You should try this!
Corrugated Box

When you are an online seller, you are familiar with this. Hahaha. I don't know why when you buy 10 pieces and up, the shipping fee is so err. So I needed to buy them separately. Just like facemask, every time there is a free shipping I buy atleast 5 pieces. This one is very useful to me, I put my product on this box for them not to be ruined in the shipping time. I want to deliver my product nicely without damage. But still sometimes, the parcel is still wrecked when my customer receives them. Maybe because it is inevitable.

This or That and Why?

Are you familiar with the game This or That? It is basically just like Fast Talk that you need to pick between two choices. The only difference is that in fast talk, you should answer all the prepared sheet in a short span of time, while in This or That you can take your time.
Quick commercial: I am now applying for Social Media Manager and one of the contents that I am making is like this. As a content creator I need to come up with an interesting post to get the attention of my target audience. Since I am also making article, why not combine these two?
I prepared these choices for us to answer. Wait a minute! We will answer it with a twist. It will be boring if we are just answer them, so I come up with an idea to answer Why?
This or That and Why?
Choose between the two and answer the question Why. Give a little bit reason why did you choose that over the other one. I'll start.
Coffee or Tea?
I will definitely choose Coffee. I really love coffee, it is my comfort drink. I think I cannot live without a coffee. At my younger years, we seldom drink coffee because my mother can only afford to buy coffee for morning. We only drink coffee once day. Huhu.
Sunrise or Sunset?
I'm an afternoon person so I choose sunset. I usually enjoy the sunset rather than the sunrise. I rarely see a sunrise since I always wake up late in the morning. Haha
Facebook or Instagram?
Facebook! Haha. I choose Facebook over Instagram. I like to read posts without a picture.I am a fan of pages in Facebook with different stories especially when it is about life and horror stories.
Sunny Day or Cloudy Day?
I go to Cloudy Day. I don't know but when I hear cloudy, in my mind it means it's evening. But yeah, I like cloudy day rather than sunny day. In addition, I feel the laziness when it is Sunny day.
Pizza or Burger?
Hmm. This two choices make me hungry! Hahaha. It's hard to answer this but I'll choose Burger. I love burgers particularly the Jollibee burger. I just want the plain one with lots of mayo. Geez! I'm craving now. Hahaha.
Texting or Calling?
Calling of course, mostly when it is important conversation. I deliver my message a little bit different than what I'm trying to say when it's texting. And also I enjoy talking to the person over the calls. Hihi.
Hotel or Apartment
I will choose Apartment. We all know that living in a hotel makes a person broke. Hahaha. It is really luxurious to live in a hotel. While when you are in apartment, you can live as much as you want without being broke. It is cheaper than hotel, I guess. I remember my Auntie when she visited Philippines, she spent a lot of money staying in hotel. She only here for one and a half month. I am not in a position to suggest to partly live in apartment since it's her money. Hahaha. If you ask why not just go to her sibling's house? I don't know the exact reason but I think she wants a privacy.
Group or Alone
I am an introvert person so you know what is my answer. Haha. I'll choose of course being alone. I love enjoying my own company. I feel irritated when there are some people inside my room. It also make me mad whenever we have visitors and they will sleep on my bed and I am the one who will adjust to sleep to the other bed. Geez. Don't get me wrong but my bed is my comfort zone. I love being alone and I hate when I am in crowded places.
Sunflower or Rose?
Sunflower. It is not because it is easy to crochet a sunflower than a rose. Haha. It is not the reason. We all know that this flower is symbolizing loyalty and adoration. If your goal is to bright up my mood, you can send me a sunflower. It will make me happy, I am not forcing you though. Just a tip of how can you make me happy. Hehe.

I am in Lowest Section when I was in High school?

(Disclaimer)I am not degrading or humiliating students at lower section in fact I am proud of them, I am just utterly disappointed on myself back then.
Elementary Days
I skipped kindergarten and enrolled in grade 1 when I was 7 years old. My mother told me that it is just a waste of time to enroll in kindergarten since I know how to read alphabets that back then. But honestly, we just not afford the books since we are lack of financial that time.
Luckily I graduated Elementary with honors but a little sad that night. Why? Because my mother didn't buy me anything since we are short of money. I understand but a little bit sad, a big sad rather. Hahaha.
Since I belong to the top students, our adviser gave me a form and my mother need to fill out it. My mother didn't fill it out and little did I know that it was a municipal scholarship wherein I will get monthly allowances and they will pay for my tuition in high school. *Alam ko sayang, pero tapos na. That time kasi namatay ang papa ko kaya si mama ay malungkot pa.*
High School Days
Even though I did not get the full scholarship and monthly allowances, I also passed an entrance exam and gave me 50% off in two sems in grade 7. It was private school and my mother still cannot afford the tuition every time we have an exam. Luckily, *nalagpasan namin yung phase na yon* and I am 4th honor in our recognition.
This year is when I ended up in Lowest section
In grade 8, we decided to enroll in public school which is far from our home. I am in section 1 that time because of my high grades from my previous school. Our Pastor suggested residing in their home in a short span of time, which is the Church. It was not easy really. This is the time when I neglected my studies. I slept at 12 am in the midnight 3 times a week for washing their clothes. Wake up every 5 am in the morning just to cook for our breakfast and water all the plants they have before I go to school. I am also the one who cooks dinner when I get home from school. I was really exhausted at that time and I cannot process my mind to listen to my teachers and comply with all the assignments and projects.
In addition, I am a transferee at that time that's why I don't have friends. I barely talk to them because I am shy and don't have the energy to hang out. I started not attending classes and just going to the park. I always feel like I needed a rest in everything. At the end of the school year, I thought I failed but still, I got an average of 86. I am confidently sure that I will be in section 2 since the 86 average is still good and I came from section 1. Unfortunately, they put me in section 5. Hahaha.
At first, I am not telling my mother about it because I know for she will be mad at me. Anyways, when I am in grade 9, I decided to go back to my mother and continue my studies. I do not want to be like a maid again but did not get a salary, irony right?
I started having classmate friends
In this school year, I gained a lot of friends. I don't know but the vibes are very positive and I am back at my high grades. In the first quarter, I was at the top of the class and top 2 in the second quarter. And then Third and Fourth, I am still the top 1. The best part of this school year is that we are always going out and swimming. We have lots of resorts and swimming areas in our hometown that is why we always go swimming whenever there is a celebration. This is the best school year in my High School life. I did not expect those friendships that we build. Until now, we are still in contact but because we are busy with our lives, we barely talk to each other.
Back to section 1
Since I got high grades back in Grade 9, I got a chance to go back to section 1 which is I don't like. People knows that when you are in star section, it is happy and fulfilling but nah for me. I experienced sadness again but I am not that shy anymore that's why I gained friends in that year. The downside of that school year is I did not gained knowledge because cheating and copying someone's assignment are spreading in our room. *Nakakawalang gana mag aral that time kasi puro kopya lang nangyayari, ang unfair kaya talagang yung mga kopyador lang matutuwa.*
Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
Do you imagine that going in a lowest section that always named as a worth section is the best ever year of my life? Not because you are in a lower section, doesn't mean you are less of a student. Not because you are in a high section or star section doesn't mean you are intelligent and role model. My experience is not good, maybe it is just in my school and not in some schools.

Hello!
I am Glorie Joy, you can call me Joy. I wanna start my journey here to first introduce myself. I want my first article to be about myself, I am an open book inside and outside the social media world, so feel free to ask me anything later. Hihi.
Let me start it by my age, I am now 21 years old turning 22 this coming April. I am living in Central Luzon, Philippines and currently staying at home since the pandemic started. My height is 4'11, I know I'm short but I'm terrible. Char. My hobbies are reading and watching series especially kdrama. (Have you watched the Squid Game, Happiness, All of Us are Dead, and Ghost Doctor? Omg! I love those kdrama series. You should watch them.)
I graduated Senior High School last 2018 and didn't get a chance to enroll college. I went to Manila to find a job because I do not want to be a burden to my mother since she is alone providing for us. Several months had passed when I got my first job as service crew at Mandaluyong City. It was hard, it is really hard because I am far away from my family but got used to it as time goes by.
When the pandemic started last March 2020, I am not allowed to go outside since I'm only 20 that time and 21 years old and above are the ones who only allowed to go out. I got the chance to go back to my hometown and here I am unemployed but running a small business.
My hobby also is crocheting. I will share more about it later on. Anyways, I have 3 wonderful cats and they are so adorable. The older one and youngest one are stray cats. Unluckily they were thrown out to our gate when they are little. They were lucky that my brother saw them. The middle one is the oldest son. Hehe.
Why Am I Here?
I do love sharing my thoughts but unfortunately there is no one to share with. Noise.cash and Read.cash are perfect for it. If I'm not mistaken, I'm in a half year on noise.cash and I love the company there. Super positive and no judgement at all. The people there are very friendly and just like me that love to share their thoughts. One reason also that I am here is because I wanna practice my writing skills especially in English language since I write in my usual language which is Tagalog. Some of my friends on noise.cash are also here and writing an article and why not I try it too?
What my readers expect me to write?
Expect me to write about my life, I do have a lot to share to you guys. Get ready of it. Hahaha. My life is full of surprises, how I overcame all the challenges in life, how I surrender everything to God. Also, how I started my small business that is now having a progress day by day. All of that, I will one by one to you. Get ready to read more about me, my struggles and my little success.
