Ways to become your children strong and independent We're parents, all we want is the best for our kids. So, we provided them all they needed as we can. We will do everything for them. We don't think about how tremendous and hard our sacrifices. Just to grow your child kind and intelligent or gifted. But the question is how we will grow them as strong and independent? Let's find out how. As they grow, they need to stand on their feet- especially when your child is a girl. As a woman, they have many challenges that might be facing in their lives like gender inequality, the perspective of the society that women are weak, and their mindset that women need to stay at home. A woman's role is to take care of and guide their children, but the division depends on them. But how to raise them as strong and independent women. The important is to know her that responsibility has no gender. Women are not only for house responsibility like cooking, washing clothes, and taking care of their kids. Nowadays, women can work as man's do. In obligation and responsibility start a child for being an independent one. **There are 5 ways on how to become strong and independent of your children:** **Let them having failures**. Don't make a failure a big issue. They will make mistakes and they might even repeat them despite your warnings. Acceptance for their mistakes and failures make them strong and courageous. Let them know what he could have done better but don't connect their failures. **Let them make their own decision at times.** Teach them how to be responsible. You might prefer to have your child do their homework before playing. But he might be playing first then doing their homework. It might be starting them in choosing what to wear. Let them buy their taste in shoes and dress if they are going out. **Let them get hur**t. I'm not referring to serious injuries here but I am discussing this from the standpoint of normal injuries as normal childhood activities, not tragedies. Don't worry if they're being hurt because it is part of their milestone. Yes, it's hard for us to see them crying, being hurt by their friends, or having low grades that affect their emotions. But it's part of the process and let them accept all challenges. You only need to guide them. **Don't give them limitations and expectations.** In their growth and development, they are passing the puberty stage. There's a change in their body, starting how to groom themselves and having a group of friends. At this stage, girls are more sensitive than boys, time will come that they will change their physical appearance and their actions. The main reason is being pressured in her environment. Base on what she saw in her environment is her definition of being smart and beautiful. Teach them how to be herself because this is the key to become a strong and independent woman. **Be consistent**. As they grow, have a lot of discovered things. They will be facing in real-world and preparing in making decisions. It will be successful if parents become brave and consistent in guiding them. Your child's obligations involve doing what is important to maximize the opportunities that you give them. These obligations include giving their best effort, being responsible and disciplined, staying committed, and giving an achievement opportunity a realistic try, as well as, completing all tasks and exercises, getting the most out of instruction, and being cooperative. As they learn of being independent, they test their capabilities in the real world and find a sense of competence and security. Parents should be there to protect them when needed.

Embutido recipe Embutido is a type of meatloaf made from ground pork prepared in Filipino style. It is a well-known dish during the holidays, fiesta, and birthdays. And since Christmas is about to come, I thought it is about time to remind you of this classic Pinoy dish. Companies of meat processing have now produced this kind of meatloaf for their grocery store. For those who want to enjoy my homemade Embutido, this is my version of Embutido which can't taste like other commercialized Embutido. It can be steamed for an hour but some recipes are usually baked this instead, which I’ve tried but I have to say that the steamed version tastes better and has a better texture than the baked one. If you want to skip the frying part broil it a bit in the oven after steaming to give a bit After being steamed, they can be frozen so that they can last for a month. You can be served this by frying and put the catsup on the side. I like to eat Embutido with fried rice when warm. If you want to try this, do not hesitate because I am sure you will love this on your first attempt. **Embutido** Preparation time 20 minutes Cook time 1 hour Total time 1 hour and 20 minutes Servings 6 **Ingredients:** 400g ground pork 1 cup grated carrots 1 garlic minced 1 onion minced 1/2 cup raisins 1/2 cup green peas 1 cup grated cheese 2 whole egg beaten 1/2 cup tomato sauce 2 cooked banana (saba) 4 pieces slice bread and 2 cup bread crumbs salt and pepper to taste 5 pieces hotdogs cut in half lengthwise 3 pieces of hard-boiled eggs butter, for greasing 1 cup red and green bell pepper minced 1/2 cup sweet pickle relish aluminum foil (material needed) **Instructions:** In a mixing bowl, place all the ingredients except for the hotdogs and hard-boiled eggs. Mix well until blended. Set aside. Cut 6 pieces of aluminum foil about 12 inches long each. Grease the aluminum foil with butter. Spread about 6 tablespoons of the mixture on the aluminum foil. Place some hotdogs and hard-boiled eggs on the top corner of the mixture. Roll tightly and wrap in the aluminum foil. Seal by twisting both ends. Arrange the Embutido rolls in the steamer. Steam for 1 hour. Remove the aluminum foil and slice it before serving. You can also fry it. Enjoy! If you like it, try this recipe at your home. It saves you money, time, hassle in going out especially now that we need to avoid going out regularly. There are many reasons to eat in, rather than going out: **Saves the money-** When you eat in, because you’re not leaving the house without expenses like gas, wear and tear to your vehicle and tipping. You may not notice it but, over the years this could be thousands of pesos you are able to save by simply eating in.  **Family Time**– Eating in is a great way to bring the family together. Eating out could result in being unable to have meaningful conversations because of the noise level.  **Binge Watching-** spending time with kids and be able to binge watch your favorite TV show or movies while you enjoy this amazing meal. **It's cheape**r- when eating at a restaurant, you will paying an extra cost. **More options -** you'll be able to decide what taste you want. When you eat at home, you can prepare your food exactly the way you want. **Intimate time with your partner-** you can cook this dish for your partner. No noise or can get more comfortable setting at your home.

Mother vs father: child's intellegience To whom does the child's intellect inherit? Daddies, are you agree with this? 🤭 Science and research will be giving us proven evidence about this. Now I can say that **"mother knows best"!** Based on the study of Psychology Spot, the intelligence of a mother can pass her being intelligent to their child. It is because of a gene called chromosome X which is the cause of the intellect passed on to the child. Females have two X chromosomes, so they bequeathed it to their future child. Meanwhile, when the child inherits the gene from the father, it still does not affect because the mother's gene is stronger. AF genes are formed in the cerebral cortex wherein the intellect, mind, words, and planning are developed. As a woman, I believe that this study will have a positive effect on men and their belief in the intelligence of women. It is also a way to stop the belief that men are better off than women. **Does the child's intellect inherit from mommy?** I'm a mom with a daughter. She's already 3 years old and I can't deny that you can talk to her at a young age. When she cries or tantrums, I see that she tries to say what she thinks or how she feels. These characteristics are the same for me. I am responsible for her emotions when she can no longer control the emotions or can not be restrained from speaking when disagreeing. But, what are the explanation of quick response or adapting to things she has only heard a few times like vocabulary words or when she was only 9 months old, she was too busy developing lego? where did this talent come from? Others say that this talent comes from their father because men are known for being superior and experts in problem-solving, etc., **Other studies of the child's intelligence** Another study will prove this! According to a 1994 study by the Medical Research Council Social and Public Health Sciences Unit of Scotland, found that mothers are the source of their children's IQ. The intelligence ratio of young people is on average 15 points derived from their mother. Because of this study, we will no longer hear that "you inherited your mommy's beauty", but from now on, we will hear that " you inherited your mommy's beauty and brain". **What is the role of daddy then?** Of course, don't forget our daddies, thanks to them because the paternal genes in the emotional brain or better known as the limbic system are responsible for survival. It also has to do with the function of sex, food, and aggression. Moms might have a bigger role to play in making their kids smart, but it just doesn't mean that dads are not doing anything. Intelligence is a wide theory and it is affected by a lot of factors. According to science, 40-60% of our acquired intelligence is a genetic thing but the rest of them are determined by particular environmental factors in play, including how emotionally well-connected you are to your parent. These two will help a lot in developing a smart child. I can say that "mom-knows best! Especially for full time and exclusively breastfeeding mom like me. I believe that this study is proven. I know that the time I spend singing, reading, playing, bathing them helps them to become smart. Still, mom is responsible for the intelligence characteristics that will inherit to their child. The partnership of cognitive and limbic system influence is important to your child. Mother's genes are still the reason why we have adorable kids. Therefore I conclude, parent connections help the child grow emotionally. Studies have also proven that having a mom who is emotionally viable and present significantly boosts intelligence rates in children. Having emotionally active parents influences children's intellect, cognitive intelligence, personality, and rational thinking. Hence, it is always good if you can sustain or share an emotionally strong relationship with your parents! If you have a good IQ level, or everyone considers you a know-it-all, you know who to thank now! ***Always remember, science doesn't lie!***

Abortion Nowadays, teenage pregnancy occurs in a woman at a younger age. The main cause of teenage pregnancy is a lack of parental care, poverty, non-use of contraceptives, etc., In this case, women can be quite shocking by their unwanted pregnancy and they resolve it by practicing an abortion. What is abortion? https://read.cash/@jhuls/abortion-922ddf92#what-is-abortion Abortion is a procedure to end pregnancy or expulsion an embryo or fetus from the uterus. For me, it is considered an immoral sin and even a crime. It is a very sensitive topic because it reminds me of my best friend who had an abortion. **Taking risks of abortion** ***Pelvic inflammatory disease Infection:***  the germs from the vagina will enter the uterus and cause an infection. The cure does this such infection takes antibiotics. **Incomplete abortion:** incomplete abortion may result in infection and bleeding. ***Menstrual clots:*** Blood clots that cause severe cramping. The clots usually are removed by a repeat suction curettage. ***Menorrhagia:*** *this happens* following an abortion. Ask the doctor to explain heavy bleeding and what to do if it occurs because it is needed medication. ***Vaginal tear:*** The opening of the uterus may be ripped while it is being stretched open to allow medical instruments to pass through and into the uterus. **Uterus** ***Perforation:*** A medical instrument may go through the wall of the uterus. Heavy bleeding or infection occurs depends on how severe it is. Hysterectomy may be required for the most severe infection. ***Side effects of Anesthesias:*** anesthesia increases the risk of complications associated with abortion. ***Infertility:*** Complications associated with an abortion or having many abortions may make it difficult to have children. I have a story about my best friend's abortion. At that time, I have no idea why she should end her pregnancy without thinking that she might kill an innocent child or should I say a "human beings" in her womb. I feel sorry for her and her baby because I didn't save her, I was not there to give some advice. It's too late when I was discovered that she had an abortion. She cries a lot while she confessed to me. One of the main reasons is that she wants to save herself from humiliation. She also said that she didn't want to give up her career and she wasn't ready to be a mother and fear of discrimination. Honestly, I wouldn't support her reasons for wanting an abortion. It's not an acceptable reason. She is so selfish. I try to understand her because at that time she was just 16 years old. She didn't know what to do, she panics. Anyway, she already learned a lesson. She guilt about getting rid of her blood and flesh, an innocent child. Until now she keeps hiding it from her family and moved on from the past. She promised that she wouldn't do it again, ever again!. Good thing is that she regrets it. She asks for forgiveness. After all that happened, I have so many realizations. Now that I'm a mother, I am thankful for raising and loving my child unconditionally. For me, she is one of the precious gift given by God. For those who commit a crime like abortion, I have a piece of advice. Don't be so selfish. Give them a chance to live because they're innocent. They're not the one who is responsible for your own mistakes. Don't just think about your pleasure over responsibility because abortion will never be okay, unacceptable! These decisions propose that assuring women can have a wanted abortion allows them to protect a positive future outlook and achieve their aspirational life plans.

How do you train your child in the potty? **Potty-training** is one of the important parts of milestones for a child. It is the process of training your young children for proper urination. How to start it? And how we will know if the baby is ready? All I know is timing and longer patience is the key. Always remember children have diversity, they are unique. So they must not compare with others. Potty training of the children depends on their physical and emotional preparedness, don't base on their age. There are more prepared at the age of 2, but others might be prepared at the age of 2 and a half or 3 years of age. Parents should remember not forcing them. Don't rush them, if you start too early it might take longer and longer to train your child. They are the ones who can say if they are prepared or not. **Questions you might ask yourself on during potty training:** Is their diaper were dry for almost 2 hours or longer or more urine in one peeing? Is he/she had interested in the potty chair or a toilet? Is he/she is asking about wearing underwear or removing their diaper? Is he/she understand and follow instructions? He/she complaining when their diaper is wet and having poops? Is he/she able to take off the shorts or pants and pull it up again? Is he/she able to sit and stand-alone on a potty chair? If all of these questions have a yes answer, they might already be prepared for potty. If some of these questions say no for your child, just wait patiently until they become prepared. **When to avoid potty training?** Avoid starts potty training if there are changes happened in your house such as having a new member of the family, moving up to a new house, or having a long-time vacation to other places. By starts potty training, it is necessary for having the attention of families, to avoid for the baby, being confused. Don't hesitate to stop it if you already begin on potty training, in just once that your baby isn't prepared. You might repeat it after a week or a month. As I experienced, when my baby starts potty training, she's always getting wet in her underwear. So, I stopped it and try again after a month, when I noticed that day by day her napped for two hours are dry. And she always refuses to wear a diaper. And that's she become prepared. She is sitting on a potty chair and she always asks me when she felt that she seems to be peeing. **Getting ready for potty training** Make potty training fun and no pressure. Be positive, don't get easily mad if they accidentally getting pee on their shorts or pants. At their first potty training, don't stop using diaper instantly. Let them use diapers while they weren't trained perfectly. **Prepared all the things needed.** Use a potty chair or potty cover and put it on the toilet seat cover of your toilet bowl. Make it special like they are sitting like a queen, this is to make her practice. **Set up a schedule**. It is helpful to take your baby every 30 minutes in the toilet. If your baby is interested, make them seat a minute on the potty chair. Do it several times within the day. For boys, it is advisable to train them seating first before training them by standing. **Give them entertainment**. Read them books while they are seating on a potty chair or give them books such as waterproof books or board books to read or give them a potty toy. Always accompanied them and don't them left unattended. Even if they are seating only don't get mad and rush them. **Always observe their signs.** Some signs show that your baby might be peeing such as removing their diaper or shorts, holding their private part, or seems them holding it back by crossing their legs. Encourage them to go to the toilet and ask them if they need to pee or poops. Always praise them for every improvement in their potty training. For the girls, teach them always to wash and wipe their private parts by using toilet paper from front to back. Also, let them flush and wash with soap their both hands right after peeing or pooping. **Reward them.** Give them a stamp or stickers if they have an improvement on potty training. It shows positive for them that they are making things right. **Remove the diaper.** After a week of potty training, try to remove the diaper. You may use training pants or underwear as substitutes. Avoid using tight pants. **Expect the accidents occur.** Don't get easily mad when they got pee on their shorts or underwear. It's not easy for them, that is why we need to be patient. Try to explain to them where they pee and instruct them to ask help from an adult when they want to pee. It usually happened when they are at a party and during their playtime. Observe them if they have signs to get pee and ask them immediately to be prompt it. If your baby peeing often and little by little it may have conditions that need medical attention. Consult the doctor to ensure their safety and resolve it immediately. If the baby finally finished their potty training, the next step is how they take a nap without peeing on their bed. Try to put mattresses cover while sleeping to avoid holding back peeing at night. If they already schooling at nursery or daycare, don't depend on their potty training. It must be starting at home before expecting that they can make it to another place like school. *I have books discussed potty training and you should have to try reading this, Every one Poops by Taro Gomi, Uh, Oh! Gotta Go! and once upon a potty with dolls and potty toy.*

Every relationship is unique. A healthy relationship is sharing a common goal for exactly the relationship they want to be and where they want it to go. You will achieve this kind of relationship by talking deeply and honestly with your partner. Knowing the common characteristics of a healthy relationship as basic principles can help your relationship meaningful, fulfilling, and exciting whatever goals you're working towards or challenger you're facing. Here are some examples of a healthy relationship: **Respect other's opinions.** Respect other's opinions when arguing. Make your voices low and calm yourself. **Keep your romance alive.** Having enough time with each other. **Be honest.** Good communication is an important part of any relationship. When both people feel comfortable with expressing their necessities, beliefs, and feelings, it can boost trust and sustain the bond between you. Some tips will help you to keep your romantic relationship healthy: **Spend quality time.** At the time that you fall in love you are looking and listen to each other. Looking and listening can sustain falling in love experience over the long term. Everything seemed exciting and new, taking back your memories of when you were first dating and try something that makes you exciting. Though, as time goes by, you need to find time together despite works demands, family, and obligations. Sometimes you need to have a fun time together. **Stay connected.** This is an important part of a healthy relationship. When you have a positive emotional connection with your partner, you will feel safe and secure. People that stop communicating will reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. So, as long as you are communicating, you can usually work through whatever problems you're facing. **Be a good listener.** There’s a big difference between listening and simply hearing. When you listen, you’re engaged with what’s being said. However, it takes work on each person’s part to make sure that there is a reasonable exchange. **Acknowledge what’s important to your partner.** It’s important for both of you as partners to recognize your wants and for you to state them clearly. Constantly giving to others at the expense of your own needs will only build resentment and anger. **Makes your fight to be fair**. Just focus on the issue. Don’t start arguments over things that cannot be changed. **Don’t include past arguments**. Rather than looking at past conflicts, focus on what you can do in the here-and-now to solve the problem. **Willingness to forgive.** Resolving conflict is impossible if you’re unwilling or unable to forgive others. **Remembering happiness in the past.** Share the moments that brought the two of you together, examine the point at which you began to drift apart, and resolve how you can work together to rekindle that falling in love experience.

Sacrifices of being a stay at home parent I just respect them, not to judge them being a stay-at-home mom, not knowing that most of the time their work is never-ending. It is a lifetime job. Instead of judging them, we must respect them for their greatness. Many things that we need to be considered in our marriage life when it comes to planning for a family. There finance adjustments, dividing the tasks of doing household chores, buying their assets, and many more. In times of having children, taking care of them is a big challenge, especially when both parents are working. Some of them find a nanny and some of them are decided to give up their career for the safety and security of their children. Nowadays, finding a good and responsible nanny was so hard. In these circumstances, the decision-making will come, it is the process of making choices/options to solve their problems. It's not bad that one of you will decide to give up the career just because you want to secure your child's sake. **How difficult being a stay-at-home parent?** If you are one of a stay-at-home parent you should be thankful and happy watching your kids learn, develop, and grow and well-adjusted adults. Yet there are many problems that stay-at-home mom will be facing. Yes! I'm one of them, I decided to become a stay-at-home mom when I was 25, I am a fresh graduate when I got pregnant. I had graduated with my two courses which are a 2-year computer secretarial and a bachelor of elementary education. But until now I wasn't able to fulfill my dreams. I chose my family over my career. At that time, my husband and I were decided that one of us must stay at home to take care of our baby. He didn't want a "Yaya". It is a big challenge for me and my husband because this is unplanned. All we know was to protect and secure our baby's lives. We don't know what the future will bring to us. I have no relatives whom can I trust with, to take care of our baby. I can't trust my baby's lives to anyone else as I've always heard in the news that most of them are abusive to their foster child. So, I decided to stay because I felt that my daughter needs me. My husbands and I support each other's decisions for good. **Challenges of being a stay-at-home parent** If you think being a stay at home mom is so easy, why don't you do it?... Exactly!!! It's hard for me to be a stay at home mom. As time goes by we had faced many challenges and by God's mercy we've overcome it. **Here are some Emotional challenges of being a stay-at-home parent:** **Lack of accomplishments.** Feeling of lack of accomplishment, I no longer feel the sense of accomplishment. That feeling of being useless! Instead of feeling accomplished by mothering, it takes a lot out of me. "Endless days in which every single task is immediately undone or needs to be repeated within hours can be soul-sucking when you are used to overseeing projects with a very tangible and rewarding result," says Emily, 49, a mother of a 10-year-old and a 5-year-old.  **Feeling lonely and bored.** "Stay-at-home parenthood can be so isolating," says Rochelle, 32, mother to a 15-year-old and a 9-year-old. "[When they were babies,] I was so used to just doing groceries and diapers and dishes that whatever social instinct I had previously atrophied completely." **Questioning your parenting decisions.** "Am I even doing this right?" I have often fantasized that a woman who knows what she's doing would come in and fix all of my mothering mistakes. **Why can't I just finish one thing.** I'm always juggling way too much stuff. I'm always frustrate doing household stuff. I feel so alone all along in this kind of battle. **The Advantages and Disadvantages of Stay-at-home parents** Are you trying to decide whether to be a stay-at-home parent or not? **Advantages of being a stay-at-home parents** **Lower cost.** Stay-at-home parents have an option to work and earn at home. It's also less expensive for one parent to stay home rather than it would be to pay for the childcare. **Control your kid's development** Letting your kid's nannies be in charge of their daily life limits your level of control over your children's learning, growth, and development. Stay-at-home parents control their child's daily activities, supervision, and nurturing. **Less stress for the kids.** Being a stay-at-home parent is an amount of stress for the kids. **Disadvantages of being a stay-at-home parent** **Loss of identity for the parent.** Some of the parents keep on focusing on their career over a family that is why they might feel a loss of identity by becoming a stay at home parent. Stay at home parent can prevent this depressing feeling by channeling their passion for parenting and hobbies and even work from home jobs. They forgot about the importance of parenting for their too much dedication and passion for their careers. **Lack of socialization opportunities for their children.** Some parents, especially those who are in a rich family they decided not to send their kids to school where they can socialize with other children. Socialization techniques learned during early play and daycare experiences-problem solving, friendship, playing with others, sharing, etc., **Less socialization for the parents.** Being a stay at home mom means having less socialization with other adults. **These are the things that we realized after a big challenge for us:** **The working hours of the stay-at-home parent are longer than the working hours of an employee in a company.** Being a stay-at-home parent needs 24/7 attention while being an employee in a company that spent almost 40 hours in a week. We have no vacation leave or sick leave, you have no salary or bonuses even the 13th-month pay. You will just have money if your husband turns over his money every 15 days of his half month salary or if you have extra work like work from home set up. **More tiring when you're at home.** Most of them, assumed that when you're at home, life is easy, life is good, and you're not doing anything, but not true. Aside from taking care of your children, you do household chores every day such as cooking, laundry, cleaning the house, ironing clothes, and many many more. There is also the occasional mess of your child. **You can't eat your comfort food freely.** Being too busy can skip your meal. It is because your child always demands. Your child will always be your prior. **Your social life will be reduced.** Being a stay-at-home mom, your communication and socialization with your friend will be lessened. Good thing, using the internet might your chance to communicate with them. **Nowadays, it is not enough that only one of you is working in the family. Two is better than one.** Both of you must have a source of income. Bill payments and continuous high prices of goods are enough reasons for both of us work hard. It is very hard for having a breadwinner in the family if his/her salary is on minimum wage. When our child growing up, your expenses also grow up. Also, add emergency expenses such as drug purchase and check-up whenever one of them is sick, tuition fees in school, and things that need to buy at home. **Things that I learned being a stay-at-home parent:** **I learned to be contented in life.** Being a stay-at-home mom was changed my viewpoint in life. Our lives become simpler because we learn how to budget our money and I'm happier now to get along with my daughter. We have learned to prior the needs over wants. **I became closer to my daughter and I have enough time to spent with her**. I got to know her better. I meet her needs. I've always there for her, watch her and play along with her. Guide her in studies and I always attend her event in school. On Saturdays and Sundays are our family days. **I always maximize my time at home.** I have a daily routine every day and if I have free time I'm writing an article. **I became more respectful and understanding to all housewives and even in maids out there.** I had experienced the hardships of being a stay-at-home mom, I must admire them because of their being a dedicated and strong woman. Now, I understand why my mother taught me and my siblings doing all the household chores. What we don't know, it's just training for the real-life will be facing when the time comes that we will be having families of our own. I **became more familiar with myself ("the real-me").** I became more matured enough as a homemaker. I had discovered a new skill. It's not easy at all but for me being a stay-at-home parent is priceless.
