How to Survive in the Middle of the Sea Have you ever wonder how do you see yourself trapped in the middle of vast ocean or sea? Alone and just alone. For example, you're sun bathing at the beach and your lotta friends voted to lure you in the seaside for a prank. Unfortunately for instance, you did not notice you're already washed away from the island and carried by the waves towards. Another scenario, while fishing, a typhoon causing large waves and struck your boat or fishing vessel later on the whole ship sunk at the bottom of the raging sea. What will you do then and what comes to your mind? Just imagine, in a blink you've became an Expeditioner, a lone explorer actually. Raise thy hands those of you have watched movies like *Cast Away*? Yes, we love that one mate. After a plane crashed, for four (4) damn years, Chuck (Tom Hanks) was rescued from his improvised boat. We're sorry his friend volleyball Wilson who parted their ways during their voyage away the island. If you picture yourself, by contemplating if you can last as Chuck did. The answer is a BIG yes! The ability of man to survive is limitless as his chance. Another movie if you remember the story of Essex portrayed in *In the Heart of the Sea (2015)*. As a brief summary, the crew of a whaling ship participate in the lucrative whale oil expedition. However, they encountered a huge vengeful white whale damaging their ship leaving them miles away from the land. They are pushed to their limits to battle out there in the sea without food and water which tests their resilience and beliefs. To survive, they resort to cannibalism by using their comrades corpsed as food. How gruesome isn't it? For some tips take note of these in the near future it might be useful. Here's an excerpt from swimmingschool.com.my I added explanation for everyone. Enjoy reading this life hacks. ****Calm down****. It is normal to feel fear when you found yourself in open water. Just do not panic my friend and never make a wild decision when your under emotional attack. Be like John Wick - a man of focus, motivation and sheer will. ****Swim gracefully****. Do not waste your whole energy trying to swim all around. Remember to conserve your full might, schools of whale and shark are roaming everywhere waiting to feast you. Best way to afloat is by lying your back and kept your head and upper part of your neck above the waterline. On this way, its not tiring. ****Grab something that keeps you floats.**** A stray wood or log and debris from your wrecked plane or ship is a common one. Plastic containers are the best in terms of density. ****Take care of your clothes****. Multiple layer of clothing helps you keep from sunlight during the day and cold at nights. Remember, color differs from the sea attract the rescuers to search around once they spot on that. ****Decide what you'll eat****. Catch a fish nearby using threads of your clothes as fishing line and a clip as hook. If you spotted a seeweed have this to help fill nutrients in the body. ****Provide yourself with liquid****. Never ever drink sea water. Rainwater is the recommended one. Some sea survivors resort to drink their own urine. Others were eating fluids from the fish they caught. ****Save yourself properly****. Keep an eye out for planes and ships nearby. If you spot one, use a pocket mirror or a smartphone screen to reflect sunlight and reach them. Also, you must have little knowledge on navigating thru stars and the position of the sun will give you hints where are you facing: east and west. ****Do not lose hope. Keep the faith****. Take your opportunity to pray and thank GOD for the blessing your keeping alive during those trying times. ***×× WARNING: Use these methods as your resorts. If they don’t seem to work, don't hesitate to call GOD anytime remember Jeremiah 33:3, "call unto Me and I Will answer thee."*** If you have useful ideas how to survive in the sea other than those listed above, just comment below and let's hear it out. -jehe
