BEE ON CROWN OF THORNS Greetings pals from this channel. Today i share with you this photo i took of an Euphorbia milii flower. This plant is very common in my country. This Euphorbia, also known by its english name Crown of thorns, is a thorny shrub that is related to poinsettias. It is native to Madagascar. Because of the great amount of thorns it has, this shrub became associated with the crown of thorns worn by Jesus when he was executed. Other names for the plant include "Christ Thorn" and "Christ Plant". In Latin America it is known as "Corona de Cristo", and in my country is known as "Tu y yo", like "You and i", a more romantic name, or one that's makes reference to ther words many people understand Jesus said to the other condemmned man besides him, that they would be in paradise. When i took this photo with my smartphone, it was a lovely morning with gentle daylight. As i use to take pictures with the camera in Pro or manual mode, i set the ISO in 100, lowest grade, my phone has the aperture is fixed in f/2.0 and the shutter speed 1/250 seconds. I've published a second photo of this same Crown of Thorns with the bee in another perspective in another channel.
