Menace Against Minors
The scene has become frighteningly familiar. A mother starves her own children. A drunk Father comes home and beats up his nine year old son usual- but on this occasion He uses a hammer. A teenager, babysitting for young nieces and nephews, gets irritated and throws a child against a wall. A Grandfather wanting to fullfill his lust, rapes his own grand daughter.
How shocking to our moral sensitivities is the growing epidemic of child abuse. In 1995, a total of 3,040 cases of child abuse was reported by the Department of Social Welfare and Development, 75 percent of these being sexual abuse. In the US that same year, a total of 2,000 children died at the hands of their parents or caretakers. Some 18,000 suffered permanent disabilities from abuse or neglect while 141,700 sustained serious or near-fatal injuries. Philippine government estimates that 2.9 million Filipino children are especially difficult circumstances today, suffering from neglect or physical and sexual abuse. To that may be added the exploitation of minors in child labor and the child sex trade patronized by pedophiles.
What are the causes of child abuse?
alcohol and drugs, poverty, loss of moral values and the breakdown of the family system are often cited as culprits. In the midts of the outcry againts child abuse, we can be thankful that society today views child maltreatment not merely as a social problem, but a criminal issue. The root causes have to be addressed seriously and swiftly.
There are several ways you can personally help minimize, if not curb, the problem of child abuse:
Support broad and comprehensive child abuse policies such as REPUBLIC ACT 7610:
This new law is mandated to protect children against abuse, prostitution, trafficking and exploitation. This viral piece of legislation needs resolute enforcement and cannot be left to the PNP and the NBI alone. We need help to the citizenry, the community. Report to the police or the DSWD for any sign of major trouble against minors. If we only act as our brothers keeper, this will be a deterrent against would be abusers.
Stand up against bigoted behaviour or comments:
No longer use violent and abusive language. Verbal abuse usually precedes physical abuse. Its an indicator that should not be ignored. Stand against it courageously. But first, remove your own verbal garbage. Victims need no longer be intimidated by the culture of silence that keeps them from speaking out. Dont be muted by this great evil. Call it by its right name. If technology conquered the speed of silence. For to be quite now is tantamount to being an accomplice. The boldness of the predator is in no small part due to the silence of lambs.
Assess and address the level of violence in your personal relationships:
Change in society must begin in us, and no other person knows you better than yourself. While the community must take a united front againts child abuse, each person in that community must assess his own personality and check for abuse-proneness in his behaviour.
Government, the church, media or the private sector alone would not be able to halt the menace against minors. It will require personal vigilance and accountability on our part.
Insects

Yesterday, I have so many wonderful and exciting times. As I traveled in the midst of the forest, I found many different kinds of insects and they are all very fascinating and attractive. This is my first time to see such this insects and their colors can make them very attractive and fascinated. The first picture that Im going to share was this color white and yellow insect cling in the tree. As I noticed, this insects was busying biting the tree and I think this will be their home soon. Others called this insects, cecada or Gangis. It has a color yellow and white color and a black portion of its legs. This insects can grew big and it is very scary to see about. Mostly, it leaves in the coolest area just like under the big leaves, tree, grasses and even in the big bolders or stones.
Did you notice something? Ah, yes another fascinating insects hiding in the leaves. We called this one, Tayangao. It can release stinks smell if we accidentally touch it. This is not harmful to plant and only small insects are fun to eat with this insects. This is a fast flyer insects and it can reach from tree to tree in only seconds. People avoid this insects so that it will not release a bad smell.
The Immortal Poem
There are many poems written by different people. Some are short and some are long poems. Others follow the rules and different styles of travel. Others simply write poetry in their own style or method without thinking about the rules and standards of poetry. But you can't hope that all those poems that have been written are immortal poems or lasting poems that won't be rejected or forgotten by the readers after the passage of time. Our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal sent a message to the children that they are the hope of our country. When it comes to children, they are the most important source of health in our country because the fate of this country rests in their hands. Because of this, the welfare of the children should remain the first concern of a responsible society in order to build their future in a knowledgeable and democratic school.
We strongly believe that we should continue to nurture the future of our children by ensuring that we have enough weapons to cope with the increasingly expensive education. In this, the government should intervene in cooperation with the sectors of our society. However, in these dreams, parents play a big role in order for their children to succeed. But in a democratic country like the Philippines, we can say that this obligation is also the burden of the government to respond to the educational needs of children regardless of the level of society their parents belong to.
In the Philippines, the government subsidizes free public education for all students from elementary and high school as well as government-owned colleges and universities. But for a long time, the protesting students and teachers have always complained about the poor allocation of education and social services such as health when compared to other government agencies that often pocket their annual budget. If the children used to shout about the lack of funds for education, the teachers about the lack of their salaries, it is good to consider that our government is slowly paying attention to these grievances through the efforts of our conscientious legislators and government official.
The national budget for education and the arts and similar social services has been gradually increased through the efforts of the House of Representatives and senators so that it can be approved by the executive through the leadership of the country. It is good to see that the first concern of the government this year is to increase the allocation of the education sector in the next year's national budget and it can be seen that in education alone, there is an additional fund of 6.4 Billion Pesos, a large part of which is directed to build more classrooms and rehabilitate dilapidated schools, open more items for teachers as well as scholarships and more allocations for state colleges and universities across the country.
Since the national budget has been passed by the lower house and senate, which now shows a clear increase in almost all public service departments, this is probably the best gift that the citizens can receive because of the positive attitude shown by the legislators towards the sector of education. Under the national budget, the allocation for the department of education was increased by 5.2 billion Pesos over the original proposal of 145.9 Billion Pesos. For state colleges and universities, the new total allocation of over 152.4 Billion Pesos also includes an additional 1.16 Billion pesos.
The additional estimate of the deped is above 1.07 billion pesos outlay for the construction and improvement of more houses followed by 1.06 billion pesos for additional teaching and non-teaching positions and an additional 1 billion pesos for a total of 3 billion pesos reserved for the education of pre-schoolers and elementary schools. With an increase of 1 billion pesos, the total appropriations for pre-school education has become 3 billion pesos which will definitely bring good results to our children. Other additional appropriations for deped are as follows:
500 million pesos for the seats of the students, 540 million pesos for the payment of teachers who have not received benefits in the past years under the magna carta for public school teachers. 200 million pesos for the distance education program if the study is only available at home or in the study module run by the Deped and 53.2 million pesos for additional personal services or maintenance and other operating expenses of secondary schools. The allocation for SCUs is also at the top with their 524 million pesos which is very necessary to implement more scholarships for poor but able students. Because of these developments, the education sector should rejoice. They will feel the government's great attention to them. Let's not think that the country's education can only be explained by a crumpled paper or a sharpened pencil.
Hierarchy Of Needs
Every person has different needs and preferences in daily life. Human needs were thoroughly studied by Abraham H. Maslow through observation. His book THEORY OF HUMAN MOTIVATION was published in 1943. He explained in this work that the first level or level of the hierarchy of needs must be met and satisfied. As the first level is filled with satisfaction, human needs increase until it is climb to the highest level.
There are different levels of the hierarchy of needs:
1. Physiological

Once the first level of need is met. human needs may have increased to safety levels. Many want the environment to have order, tranquility, abundance, prosperity and peace.
3. Companionship with Other people
Man does not only need material things, but he also needs love, socializing, and adapting to different types of people. Also join any organization, have friends and a strong family and interact with others. Because man cannot meet his needs if he is alone, it is important for man to have a good and stable relationship with others and with any member or any sector of society.
4. Appreciation
Everyone wants respect. People aspire to feel their importance in society. This is the high society's view of people or dignity. The person also seeks to have great self-confidence and to have assertiveness. This means that he has high self-esteem.
5. Personality
If the person fulfills the needs at the lower level, he can reach, achieve, and even achieve the higher level. Personality is the highest level in the hierarchy of human needs. This is the achievement of high dreams or ambitions in life. It can be made up of dreams that are experienced without fear or fear because a person trusts and believes in his own abilities. This is a belief that he can overcome any storm that may come. It is also necessary to have positive thinking and honest behavior.

This can be considered a short-term economic problem if it can be easily corrected and addressed. All people experience scarcity in our resources. As a member of society, it is important that we know the signs of scarcity that affect our lifestyle. Resources are made up of natural resources, human resources and capital resources.
Natural resources are divided into four groups that come from nature. These are mineral resources, land resources, water resources, and energy resources. The Philippines is one of the richest countries in Asia with great potential in land resources. It has a size of 300,000 square kilometers made up of mountains, forests, hills, plateaus, and vast oceans and plains. We use them in agriculture where we mostly source coconuts, corn, coffee, bananas, vegetables, hemp, rubber, cotton, sugarcane, and other crops. In the plain there may be standing constructions and projects for the development of the country. Houses, buildings, schools, offices, markets and factories were also built here. The forest, on the other hand, is one of those that provide many resources to the country because minerals and giant trees are found here. Our forest is rich in different types of plants, flowers, and animals. The Philippines is also one of the countries where many unique species or types of animals can be found. However, it is also among the countries with a dangerous situation from the report of the international union for conservation of nature and natural resources due to the dwindling of animals here, as well as the depletion of land resources.
The Philippines is rich in natural waters. With more than 7,100 islands, our country has been called one of the longest coastlines in the world, estimated at 36,289 kilometers according to the World Bank. The country is also rich in mineral resources. This is the most important resource because it comes from our nature that is not man-made. There are two types of minerals that the Philippines has, metallic and non-metallic. Many deposits of metal minerals are found in various places in the Philippines such as Benguet, Paracale and Masbate which are known to be rich in gold. Many iron deposits are found in Zamboanga del Sur, Davao Oriental, Camarines Sur, Surigao, and Misamis Oriental, which is rich in chromium. copper can be obtained in the area of Cebu, Negros Occidental, Marinduque, Bohol, Palawan, Tarlac, Samar, and Agusan del Norte in the manganese deposits. The wealth of zinc is in the area of Samar, Zamboanga del Sur, Benguet, and Camarines Norte. From the data of the Mines Giosciences Bureau, the Philippines is one of the largest sources of gold and copper minerals. Based on the Department's analysis, the most minerals exported by the Philippines are gold and gold. They are mostly exported to countries such as Japan, Australia, Canada and China. Non-metallic minerals such as marble are found in Romblon. gravel and sand are obtained from the seashore. Bohol is also known as a rich source of limestone. GUN BAN: Good or Bad for People?
The gun ban is the prohibition of any resident of our country from carrying a firearm outside the house, even if he has a license. His weapon is only in the house. This law was created during the last election with the intention of avoiding many killings of politicians and their supporters. At a glance the gun ban is well-intentioned. Its proponents envision or contemplate the beauty of a society without weapons. Gunless society, they said. Very smooth, very peaceful. That is the beautiful dream.
If everyone does not have weapons, people will learn to respect each other. Because who dares to reign without a weapon in hand? So it's obvious that nothing will happen to the people. The theory of special creation reflects the systematic and logical creation of the world. Creation was based on successive days of creation. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. On the first day, God created light including active forces, such as waterfalls, energy and magnetism that energized the universe. On the second day, God separated the water into two — atmospheric water and land and ocean water. On the third day, God created the plants and all the vegetation. On the fourth day, the moon and stars were created. On the fifth day God filled the sea and the sky with water and birds of the air.
Creationists are people who believe that everything created in the world, even the origin of the planets and the whole earth was created by an almighty God. there are two types of creationists. Some believe in the literal interpretation of the Christian bible which says the world and all things were created in just six days. They believe that the world is only a few thousand years old. They disagree with scientists' theories of evolution. These are the so -called Gap Creationists. Gap refers to their belief that there was a gap or large space of time elapsed in the creation mentioned in the first and second verses of Genesis.
There are progressive creationists who want to combine or interpret the Genesis account of the creation of the world by using scientific theories. This includes Day-age creationists who believe the seven days referred to in the bible are not literally seven days, but thousands or millions of years.
The Cooperation Of Man And The World
There are many human relationships- father, mother, brother, wife, husband, cousin and so on and their cooperation is something to be expected. But ever since the marking and bout of man in the world, there has been an expectation of the creator of cooperation, and this is between man and the world. In our time this relationship of cooperation is called ecology or ecology or relationship of the living.
First and foremost in a relationship or cooperation is breath. The air that a person breathes out of his body, his dirty coal is what the wood breathes into him, and the oxygen that the wood breathes out of his body is the breath of human life into his body. Man does not have to study further to be a scientist to sharpen his current knowledge of ecology. We’re all here now. For example people plant and take care of his plants, and the plants provide him with food, shelter and guitar and other instruments for his amusement.
Instead scientists broadly and study the ecology of three major relationships or organizations of life namely;
1.Population
2. Society
3. Ecological system itself
It is rooted in their deep state. For example, the society that is not only between the human population, but also the wildlife that accompanies the settlement. Then there is a society called Biome it is between the animal and the garden that spans and helps this greatest wonder is called life. The study, maintenance, and maintenance of good ecological systems have been initiated by scientists, but can be accomplished by humans or all humans only.
In all of this it is necessary to understand that energy or energy runs parallel to the so -called ecological system. This energy undergoes changes or transformations. For example, light from the sun is produced by plants chemical energy inside what is called the protoplasm or plant cell. Man or animal eats the plant and he then converts the energy of the plant into energy in the cells of his body.
There is an emerging science of innovation called applied ecology. It is part of ecological studies to achieve practical life aspirations. This underscores the importance of good driving and using the environment and being careful of the environment. The environment refers not only to our neighbor but to other nations and space, for what happens in the distance will also come to us.
Stupidity or improper use of the natural resources placed by the Creator can deprive or deplete them, and therefore affect and greatly affect everyone. For example the improper use of coal, gas and petroleum in the land has made it scarce and costly. These assets are called nonrenewable, that is, they cannot be changed. When it disappears, it can no longer be seen.
Ecologists have spread the warning that if man does not tire of the sustainable use of natural resources, the time will come, not only will fuels be scarce but the climate will be damaged as well. High summers and high rains are coming. Above all comes poverty, extreme poverty of all people, for even timber is gone. There is no more economy, no more clean air and water, and cures for diseases and the cost of medicine is no longer attainable.
Because even good educators have inculcated the importance of ecology, now almost everyone understands that no lice or slow use of industrial machinery and airconditioners can now block the blanket of space if ozone layer. It shields the sun’s rays that damage life on earth, the so -called ultra violet. Its shield is this cover or blanket that can be torn off, naturally entering the terrible sunlight. When the ice is supposed to begin to melt and next to it is the rising of the sea and the rising of the sea covering the islands or lands or only a few will emerge, we can imagine how many more lives.
But amidst this ingenuity and knowledge and information, are people skeptical of his use of large engines and air-con? The harsh voices of scientists and ecologists can no longer be heard in the noise of machines. Surely the time has come for us to listen to the still, small voices of the guardian angels.
From the beginning of the world, even when man still lived in paradise the angels were there to watch over the state of the world. The Beauty Of The Province In Misamis Oriental
A pleasant day to all of us. We all know that if we define the place just like a Province, first in our mind is the beautiful sceneries just like mountains, rivers, lakes and other fascinating and relaxing place. Today, let me share it with you my place here in the Province of Misamis Oriental MINDANAO, Philippines.
Manticao, Misamis Oriental is the 14 Municipality here in Misamis Oriental. The primary crops and source of income is by farming. Planting many banana's, coconut's and other root crops that can be able to sell it in the public market. As we can see in the picture here in my post, we can see the spacious, clean and many coconut plants were found. The soil of this place is very rich in organic fertilizers that is why the plants grews very healthy.
The place is very plain and everybody loves to explore around the place. Lastly, the LGU was having an activities here in this place. One of the activities they did was biking competition. I was enjoying to watch the said competition in celebration with founding anniversary here in Manticao.
Many bikers showed their talents by riding a bike with a matrix and any stunts and style by riding the bike. Cows, goats, carabaos and chickens are also found in here. This is our animals for raising it, with this we can a good fortune by take caring and selling animals to the public market.
We can find also a clean river and it is very relaxing place. People loves to swim in this place specially this summer season. Some of them, washed their clothes here in this place, fetching waters for the plants and animals.
Many shrimps and fishes can also found here in this place. Residents who lives in this place catched some fishes and shrimps for their food.
Living here in the Province is very exciting, we can relax, have fun and plant more vegetables in this fertile areas.
