July 7th, 2022. Working with animals means a daily influx of unconditional love and buoyant loose hairs from the highly dreaded coat change. As this is typed, I find myself with a smile creasing my makeup and a couple of fluffy feline chins stopping me from turning page. Their temples presented to me, fully submitted to the reach of my reassurance. Their eyes a flickering signal of reciprocated feelings. They’re so delicate and razor sharp, and we all know it.
