All enzyames are globular protein .They increase the rate of reaction without themselves used up.Their presence does not affect the nature properties of end products.Small amount of an enzyame can accerate chemical reactions.The are very specific in their action ;a single enzyame catalyzes only a single chemical reaction or a group of realated reactions.They are sensitive to even a minor change in pH,tempertature and substrate concentration.some enzyame require a co-factor for their proper functioning .They lower the activation energy of reacton .
