An observation of a new trend from UK which seems to show some people are starting to struggle financially: suddenly every delivery driver in the past weeks has been taking a picture of the delivered items to my house. Today asked one of them as to the reason, to which he replied that more people are cheating and calling in to say the items haven't been delivered. #NoiseCash

I think it is a good practice anyway.
I have a lot of experience with delivery drivers in the UK. Most drivers seem to be foreigners who have recently arrived. They speak poor English and have poor knowledge of the routes. I have had drivers deliver to the wrong house not even on the same street but in a different town with same street name. They throw parcels over walls, even put them in the bin. I assume they don't realise what a British bin looks like or what it's for. On top of poor training, poor English etc they are under time pressure to get a number of parcels delivered in a set time. As mistakes cost time, they get further and further behind schedule which makes for a stressed and dangerous driver on roads he is not familiar with. Most people I deliver to are very honest with the usual small percentage of scammers. The real problem is how the courier companies run their business.
