One common problem I kept hearing in last months in terms of Layer 2 (ETH) and Lightning Network (BTC) solutions is the on-ramp and off-ramp fees which are effectively charging you as a user the base layer fees once you get on and out of it. At the same time Bitcoin Cash has prospered in usability (outperforming BTC for couple of weeks in terms of transactions per day & during some days transacting more in value) while maintaining affordable fees on its base layer. That's why BCH is attracting some smart Layer 2 projects like https://smartbch.org which are building solutions which will not constrain its users by its base layer limitations.
