McDonalds has created 188 NFTs to celebrate anniversary of operating in Chinese market and has communicated that it will distribute it to its employees and customers in the mainland of China. Although NFT itself is not a cryptocurrency which China apparently totally banned transactions & mining of all crypto, the operation to send those 188 NFTs by McDonalds would require a native cryptocurrency of the Conflux Network to pay for gas fees of the cryptocurrency transaction on a mineable Proof of Work chain..
