An important security flaw in Apache Tomcat (popular Web Server) has been disclosed to the public, advising administrators to upgrade to newer versions for mitigations. The vulnerability comes from inconsistent interpretation of HTTP Requests (known as Smuggling) which when exploited can have a devastating impact on the business as it can lead to attacker bypassing security controls & gaining unauthorized access to sensitive data.
