Books! I have not read a book for a long time but I never stopped buying books. There are at least 50 books on my bookshelf waiting to be read. To Kill a Mocking Bird is one of the best books and I had started but never finished. I think it is time to pick it up again and try to finish reading. I started reading To Kill a Mockingbird today. I have not read a book on more than 4 years. And now when I am reading a book I am finding a bit difficult to concentrate. Do you apply oil on your hair? I usually don't like applying oil on my hair. A lot of people do it and it helps them keep their hair healthy. Most people use coconut oil as it has antibacterial properties and other helpful content. But for me coconut oil is a bit too oily and sticky. So, I usually prefer Almond oil. A tree grew in a car shed! A few years ago I was at a government office and I saw this tree growing out of a car garage. The shed was covered with leaves from the Neem tree. I was impressed and happy that the officials decided to keep the tree alive. I have seen people going to lengths to save trees and this always makes me happy.

Fried Chicken I love fried chicken and I eat it very often. The best one is when it is less oily and has the right amount of spices.

I wanted to sleep early so I prepared my bed and I was fast asleep by 10 PM. In the evening I went to the market and it started to rain. I was drenched and I always enjoy the rain. I was happy to fall asleep early but then I woke up at 1 AM and now I cannot fall asleep. Urgh! I need to try harder now. It is 4:21 AM and I need some sleep as I feel restless. Anyways, I will listen to some soothing sounds on youtube and hopefully, I will fall asleep soon.

Pigeons! It was a hot summer evening and someone kept some water for the birds to drink. During summers the temperature gets very hot and unbearable. Birds too need some cool water and some rest. The container that you see here is made with clay and when you put water in it the water gets cool instantly. A natural way of cooling water.

Glasses, masks and the rain! I enjoy rain and I often get drenched in rain. It makes me happy and calm. It was raining when I was returning home from the market last night. And it is raining now as I accompany my mother to see a doctor. Whenever it rains I my glasses get wet and I can't see much and now with the mask on it gets foggy too leaving no way to see. Sleep cycle! Last night i was in bed before 10 PM and fell asleep by 11. I woke up at 3 AM and I didn't get enough sleep but I'm kind of happy that I fell asleep early. It's 4:49 AM and I think I'll not fall asleep now. Hopefully, I'll get back into the habit of sleeping early soon.

It's been raining all week and it is pretty much damp and cold. I had to get some of my pills but I couldn't find any pharmacy open. I went out at 7 AM and I was surprised to see everything closed. I think people are still sleeping. So, I searched half the city and finally after 30 minutes and 10 kilometres later I found a pharmacy. I got my pills and now I'm at my favourite cafe having my breakfast.

Home Grown Sweet Lime! 🍋🍋🍋 I bought this Lime tree about two years ago. I was at a nursery to buy some trees and my eyes fell in this Sweet Lime tree. It was just two feet tall but it already had a bunch of fruits hanging on it. While loading the truck the workers plucked a few Sweet Limes and ate them. Sheek Kabab 😍😋 This was my first try making Sheekh Kabab. The first batch was a bit bad but the second batch was pretty good. I recently bought this portable Kabab stand. One of my friend was selling them and I got a good deal. Cooking is all about adding the right amount of spices. I think we added a bit too much spices and the salt was also a bit more. Well, it was good but not the best. I'll try again next week.

All Rivers travel to the Ocean! It has been quite some time since I have set my foot in a river or a sea. Swimming in a river or a sea has its risks but the feeling of floating in the water and the sense of weightlessness is quite amazing. The river in the photo is called the Krishna River and it is one of the longest rivers in India.

Arabian Nights! Have you read Arabian Nights? Or did you watch the movie? I love Arabian Nights and as a kid I used to look forward to watching it on tv. As I grew up I started to read and I read it and it is one of the best fantasy stories ever! The book in the photo is for my nieces and nephews. Yesterday they were at our house so I read them a few stories. It was fun reading this book to the kids and we had fun.

Sunflowers! Sunflowers are usually planted in summers and I think sunflowers are very beautiful. Many people find it surprising that these flowers follow the sun all day. I took this photo a few years ago when my friends and I were visiting a river to fish. I remember we caught a few fishes and one of us found a turtle. We let the turtle go and we took the fish home and cooked them.

Fishermen and the Fog! Once upon a time, I used to live in a building that had this amazing view. I enjoyed the scenery and I lived there for more than a year. Home grown Sweet Lime! I ate one of the sweet lime that I plucked from our tree. The fruit was still very green and looked like it needs a lot more time to ripe. But it's been more than 4-5 months so I had to pluck it. The taste was not so strong. It isn't sour like a lemon and not sweet like it is supposed to be. Hopefully, the next harvest will be sweet.

Birds Nest! 🐦 My sister took this photo and I was pretty impressed. I love nature and I love it when birds make nests. Birds are amazing engineers and they weave these complex nests. Instant Maggi Noodles! 😋😋😋 I recently bought these instant cuppa Maggi Noodles. These noodles come in a cup and all you have to do is add hot boiling water to it. It takes around 4-5 minutes to cook and they are delicious. The flavours were not as strong as the other ones that I used to get. I have other flavours too and I'll be trying them soon.

Maggi Instant Noodles Cuppa! It was a good meal. I could make it within a few minutes. It wasn't as spicy as I wanted it to be but it was a good one. I have another flavour and I'll eat it in a few days. Hopefully it will be as spicy as I wish it to be.

Why I track my sleep? 😴 🛌 Last night I slept well and I'm hoping to get some good sleep tonight too. I track my sleep with a MI smart band and it is not the best but it is pretty good at tracking how many hours I was asleep. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet You know what the rose is one of the best smelling flowers in the world. And I think I had a rose plant that smelled amazing sweet it and aroused a sense of happiness when you look at it and when you smell it. Coffee for everyone! I think coffee is one of the most widely consumed drinks. And I think it is one of the yummiest and tastiest drinks. in India, we have Starbucks and other international coffee brands but the coffee day has been a more popular Indian grown brand.

A beautiful flower 🌼 A friend of mine sent me a bunch of photos of Bhrama Kamal flowers. I have a small plant and it has not flowered since I propagated two years ago. Usually, the plant starts flowering within two years and I was concerned. So, my friend who has an agricultural degree told me it can take another year until I get some flowers. He sent me the photos of his plant that recently flowered. Ah! What a sight to see! 😍

Fig tree has some disease 😳 I noticed yesterday that the leaves on the Fig tree are getting yellow. I think it is some kind of deficiency. I don't have much experience as most of my trees grow well naturally and I hardly face any issues. I grew the Fig tree through a cutting that I got from someone and it is almost a year old now.
