Fallen Fantasy

Widened eyes Mirroring the light A reflection of one’s illusion A dream transformed as one’s own   Passion! Passion! Overflowing through the frame The frame of one’s body The anatomy of one’s dream   Molding itself to become someone To achieve something in mind Following the path you thought was right One that leads to the vision you had   But reality slaps it out of your hand Steps on it until it’s all tattered in sand As the wind carried it away And the waves gushed it to the endless bay
