Different names of money 'Money,money,money must be funny' is a phrase of popular Abba' song ,I sing it very often.I know that you know the song very well. The fact is that everything is connected to money.Do you know how many words can be connected to that powerful word 'money'?There are many words. I will write some and if you know other words write them down. In school the money is **fee,**in divorce it is **alimony**. In court it is called **fines.** Maybe you have heard about **ransom**,the word is used among kidnappers.A ransom is actually the money demanded to be paid in exchange for the release of a captured or kidnapped person, we often hear in some movies. **Dowry** is a word for money often used in marriage.It is an amount of money brought by a bride to her husband on their marriage. If you owe someone it is called **debt** .When you pay the govenment it is a **tax**. When retire you will receive a **pension**,employer to worker it is **salary.** In Temple or Church money is called **donation**. When you borrow from the bank it is a **loan.** The word similar to salary is **wages.**A wage is money that is paid by an employer to an employee, If you are satisfied in a restaurant or in other institution after a good service you give **tips.** But i it is illegally recived in the name of service it is **bribe.** As you can see I mentioned several names of money.
