After my lunch, I visit Soya Soya to have some dessert. Soya Soya is a restaurant located at the Intermark Mall known for its soya product.
I order their sesame rice ball in soya milk which cost RM7 per bowl.
The sesame rice balls are actually called Tangyuan. It is a Chinese dessert that contains a ball of glutinous rice flour and water that has been either boiled and served in a hot broth or syrup or else deep-fried. Tangyuan can be either small or large and filled or unfilled. They are traditionally eaten during the Lantern Festival because the name of the dish is a homophone for union. they are also served on wedding days, at family reunions, and during the winter solstice festival.
