Today I have my lunch at Gindaco, a restaurant known for takoyaki dish. This one is located in the Sky Avenue building at Genting highland.
It wasn't easy for me to find something cheap at Genting highland since here is a tourist area and there is a casino nearby. Things sold near Casino are normally more expensive.
However because it only recently reopens, Gindaco is selling certain item below it usual price. I decided to order their Teriyaki Tori Don. Inside contain 2 octopus takoyaki and fried chicken with takoyaki sauce with shredded cabbage.
For those who don't know what Takoyaki is, it is a ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special molded pan. It is typically filled with minced or diced octopus, tempura scraps, pickled ginger, and green onion . The balls are brushed with takoyaki sauce and mayonnaise and then sprinkled with green laver and shavings of dried bonito.
