Empire Sushi ebi tama rice
For today lunch, I visit the Empire Sushi in Avenue K Mall to try another one of their rice dishes.
This time I order their ebi tama rice which cost RM14.90 with service tax included. It also comes with free green tea and a bowl of miso soup when you order their rice dish.
Ebi tama is also known as Ebi Furai, is one of the most popular Japanese-style western dish, which originated during the Meiji Restoration. It has now become a very popular dish eaten at home and widely available in any Japanese restaurant. Tama, on the other hand, is short for Tamago, which is “egg” in Japanese.
This dish contains 3 fried breaded prawns with an omelette below it. It wonderful simple dish. Based on my own experience, it seem like only the Avenue K Mall branch sell rice dish if you ever want to try it.
