For today's dinner, I visit this Vietnamese restaurant called An Viet. It is located at the Mid Valley Garden Mall.
After looking at the menu, I order the Hanoian style Grilled Pork with Vermicelli. The total cost is RM21.90 after including the service tax.
This dish consists of a plate of vermicelli and a bowl of grilled pork soak in fish sauce. The meat used for the grilled pork consist of pork bacon, pork patty, and chunks of pork meat.
For those who don't know what Vermicelli is, it is a traditional type of pasta similar to spaghetti. In Vietnam, vermicelli is the same as angel hair pasta. This restaurant served it with lettuce and mint leaves.
Personally, I think the meal doesn't need that much fish sauce. Most Vietnamese restaurants serve the grilled pork with vermicelli on the same plate while the fish sauce is in a smaller bowl.
