Work Hard to Play Hard No:87-02 December 08,2022 Working hard to buy and get what i want is always been my way . If using the required standard measure of knowing our status of living , we belong to the poor level. My life is simple but i don't rely to other people to live. I work hard and valued every penny i earned . Save a little in a regular basis for future use. I am satisfied with our way of living. Living with the basic as what they say but happy and contented and still dreaming. Though my dream is simple too , not to get rich but just to have "ENOUGH" , enough to live without much financial worries and enough MEANS to help others. To share and give joy to other people o specially this Christmas season. ==== One of my way to achieve my goals is to work extra by selling stuff. December is always a busy month for me. I am busy making and selling my own version of " Graham de Leche" a dessert made of layered graham with thick luscious cream and topped with "Leche Flan" or custard egg. Been making and selling it for years. I don't have plan for this season to accept orders coz of the remarkable rise of prices of all the ingredients aside from the fact that it's very tiring preparing it but i'm receiving lots of inquiries and orders without me posting anything about it. So yes , i gave in with their request and starting to jot down all the things i have to buy and so this morning we went to the supermarket to purchase all the ingredients needed. And oh boy! Inflation is real! It's a two day process. On the first day i would cook the custard or leche flan . It would take me 4-5 hours to cook 30 -40 Llaneras then cool it down for several hours before putting it inside the fridge. Then the cream and sweetened milk should be chilled for 24 hours before mixing and beating using an electric mixer. So second day would be the preparation of the cream and assembling it on a tub. Put the stickers and chilled it again overnight , ready for delivery on the next day. I don't accept rush orders coz basically i'm spending three days to prepare it. From the marketing , cooking and chilling it for better taste. The product lasts for 10 days if your fridge has a good temperature setting. I was selling it from previous years at 150.00 Php or 3$ per tub of 750 ml. But now that inflation strike us , there is a price increase of 30 Php per tub and that would be 180.00 Php. === I need extra fund this month coz it's the season of giving . I want to give joy in my own simple way and i do want you to know guys that it's from the bottom of my heart. If given the chance someday , i would be really happy to give more. It's an honor to join the challenge of Mr. Nice guy @Coolmidwestguy 12 Days of Christmas and soon i'll choose 12 users here that in a way made my journey fun and interesting. Though don't expect that i would give much amount like him.😂 For now allow me to hustle in the real world and earn some extra and let me think first carefully who will be my 12 recepients☺️ It will be a very busy day for me tomorrow , so got to go and hit the sack. We are about to have our lunch. Garlic buttered chicken with sweet sauce ang aming ulam for today. Si bunso ayaw ng ganyan kaya naka set aside yung sa kanya na prito lang walang sauce. For sure most of us ay gutom na kaya tara na at kumain ng pananghalian! Blessed Sunday to all!

December Good Vibes, Keep It Coming! No: 86-01 December 03,2022 It's been over a week since my last article. Been a busy week for me from the real world. Need to work hard and do some stuff in preparation for the coming holiday. I was busy tending to our little store , adding some more items to sell coz the feast of our Patron Saint Sta. Lucia is near and relatives and friends of the neighbors usually visit and stayed for a short vacay. More people around means more sales😁 More Sales means more means to give and more fun! I still have an ample time to raise funds for my gift giving and i'm seeing light for that plan that it will happen in good faith. Little it may seem but i am firm to spread happiness in my own little humble way. And I am really glad to read a few articles this morning that gave me good vibes and truly happy for them for their unexpected blessings. Seems like Santa started doing his work! I commend those people who spread kindness and make this world a better place to live in , in their own way they are giving HOPE! They are giving the receiver reasons to continue living and fighting to survive. Despite worlwide inflation and the not so good things happening around , YOU guys serve as happiness booster. Very very glad that there are still GOOD people around. It makes my heart full of Joy reading such article. For all the Good Samaritan out there, YOU ROCK! === Let's continue the good vibes coz i have a little piece of happiness to share too. Not about receiving reward though , hehe! but still a wonderful blessing that made ny heart leap with joy. The month of November was a stressful one for me coz of various reasons. One of those was the medical condition of a very close friend. She went through a Bone Marrow Test last 23rd of November for suspicious fatal blood disorder. But now that she got the result, i am so ecstatic to tell you guys that she is Negative for Blood Cancer! After series of sleepness nights , praying hard to the HIGHEST over and over , Yes! he answered with a favorable results. Though she has to undergo series of tests again to check all her organs to find the root cause of her blood disorder this month , i am so relieved that she's negative of blood cancer. I just thought that now that she's negative from Blood Carcinoma , she has a good chance of fighting whatever disease she might have . She is scheduled for an Abdominal Ultrasound and more other tests this month of December. It was a great blessing for her and for me as well. knowing that she's done with her BMT. Anyway , she has high pain tolerance and she took the procedure " easy peasy" and not like what we are seeing in movies or TV shows that it's overly painful that local anesthesia won't do anything for pain. Case to case basis i guess , as the doctor says , she has high pain tolerance. So i am back folks ! Was able to pull myself back and go on with my daily task without worrying about her anymore. And so i'm here, writing an article after over a week of absence. Hoping to catch up on you guys and write again in a regular basis. I'm looking forward for more good news and inspiring articles to read in the coming days. December is my favorite month coz it reminds me of good things with my late mom. A month packed with happy childhood memories. This month never fails me as always! This season always give joy to my heart. Cheeeers! and let's have a great and amazing December. Let's filled this month with happy memories . Spread love and kindness! To all givers , may you be blessed abundantly and may not cease on giving and being kind . It's been a very busy week for me that i have'nt posted regularly and just take a peek here if i have the chance. One of the reason is we are decluttering to have more space in our humble home. I saw these vcd's , it's actually a lot and just took some for a click. Some are original but some are pirated😁 that we throw it away. How are you noisers? °Lemongrass , Ginger with Honey° My inlaws have Lemongrass in their garden so i asked for some and made a tea out of it adding ginger and honey. We still have mild cough and we are drinking it since last night. We stop drinking Lagundi and resort to these mixture. It's good and effective for us . It lessens the coughing and we we're able to sleep well last night. Aside from it's good taste , it reduces inflammation , a good natural remedy for cough and colds and even some stomach ailments. Perks of living in the province, you can make your own organic medicine for free. So how's your Sabado Nights noisers?

I am grateful for today. There are Angels being sent for each of us , to guide and save us from further pain or losses. Some may be in a form of a friend or even a random stranger that will suddenly help you in something. It's God's way to answer our prayers . So Trust HIM and everything will be fine. Thanks G! It Would be Perfect If I Could Give and Share this Christmas No: 85-07 November 23,2022 I am sick while writing this , with sore throat and slight fever. I can't talk much coz it hurts my throat more. I can't close my little store though and just lie down in bed coz i can't afford to lose sales for one day , "sayang ang kita" 😅 Christmas is near so we need to double our work and save some for the holiday season. So i was selling and communicating with hand gesture and nods only and would just say huh, hmmm, and smile. 😅 Speaking of Christmas , hmmm... My dear @alicecalope tagged me and asked what would be my version of a "Perfect Christmas". Thank you bhe for tagging me as i feel important and my thought is valuable to you , hehe! I like your look now , your going back on track and it's cool. Keep it up bhe, love yourself more! === When i was a kid my "Perfect Christmas" was when my mom make it home during the season. She's a single mom and working far away from us , that's why her presence during Christmas was a perfect holiday for me and my two siblings. She would go home days before the holiday bringing us some goodies and new clothes and shoes. Mom would hang three Red Christmas socks and would ask us to write our wishes and put it inside the socks. We are so happy to attend the mass with her wearing our new dresses. We are excited to open our gifts from her and see what's inside our big Red socks. If what we asked from santa would be granted. As always she tried her best to grant our wishes. Our young heart cherished that moment and it always give us joy remembering it upto now that we have our own family. === My friends and I used to do some outreach program and it would be nice if i can do it again though i know it's quite impossible this coming season coz of various factors such as the financial difficulty brought by the pandemic and the ongoing inflation. But i would love to do it again even if it's not Christmas. I would just have to save some so i could share some to a few. At present , i have my list of people that i want to give joy this coming season aside from family. I just have to raise more fund for it. Just a little to share so i could help to make them feel the spirit of Christmas. === I consider being with my whole family always a perfect one. I am from a broken family and there was a lot of times that we celebrated it away from each other. I have high value of celebrating it with my whole fam every year. Giving me happiness beyond receiving any material gifts. One thing that always makes it perfect is i don't expect any for myself . That's why a simple or little token would make me happy. Just the thought that someone made an extra effort to give something to me is a big thing for me. My heart would really feel great and my day would be awesome . Not only every christmas but in any day , i appreciate even the littlest things someone thought of giving me. "Mababaw ang kaligayahañ ko" ( little things can make me happy) . === For this season though , it would be a "Perfect Christmas" if the two souls close to my heart would get through their ordeals before Christmas. One i am praying for a favorable result from her bone marrow test and the other one to surpass the stage of grieving due to her husband's demise. **It would be perfect too if we could share some and push through our plan of gift giving even to a few some. Praying for enough means to do it . Hope it'll materialize. Nothing beats the "Joy of Giving!". Sharing is Caring as my 6 year old son favorite adage , so let's go! Let's spread happiness and love through giving!** I wish everybody here a Merry Christmas ! Hope our version of a perfect one be a reality. My Cream of the Crop No:84-06 November 21, 2022 I am trying my best to pull up myself from the recent bad news i received that one of my best friend is not in a good health state. Trying hard to put a smile on my lips and go on with my daily life though my heart is weary. I want to go on with my daily routine but can't help my tears from falling , goodness my eyebags are really plump and weight a kilo, hahaha! See?? Talking about friendship, i happened to read these prompt question first at Mr. Nice guy @Coolmidwestguy and would like to give thanks to him for mentioning me on his article and that gave way i guess for Rusty to notice me again , hoho! And for the generous tip that you gave i felt like you are perfect as rusty's sub for a while,lol! Thank you so much! And yesterday morning i was able to read a version of another Mr. Nice guy here@ARTicLEE and decided to make my own version too coz it's timely. You would agree with me guys for sure if i say that this is a good site to look for nice virtual friends . Thanks to you sir! If you happen to check my subscribers i only have a little, only 57 as of the moment but i am glad that all of them are "cream of the crop". I also have a small circle of friends in the actual world, i like it that way. Anyway let me begin.. **What is a friend to you?** Someone i could talk to about anything under the sun will be fun but not a requirement . Friends are someone to pull you up when things are going out of hand . Brave enough to accept your flaws yet has the guts to correct it if necessary. No matter what level of friendship it is , being nice and real would be the best foundation for me. Friend is someone who understand though no words are coming out. Person i could be myself and comfortable to be with. **Do you have a bestfriend?** Yes i do have. One of them for 27 years and the other for 24 years. The first one , we are opposite in some ways but we clicked. The other one , we have the same wave length as what they say. There's another and he's a guy that call me " maangas" ( proud) hahaha! coz according to him he can't hide anything from me coz though he's trying to be cool or something yet i know deep inside when he's not good or up to something. He's 6 footer yet he's afraid of me, hahaha! He hated it when i'm staring at him and he would be like , ok! ok! i'm gonna spill it out. Geez why can you read me?? Do you have sixth sense? lol! We don't see each other often coz some are in different sides of the world but we do communicate often through chats and video calls. They are part of my life, my heart and i would be devastated if something not good happen to them. **Do you think having many similarities is necessary to become friends?** I guess not though some similarities may help to start a friendship . Same interests that will bring you to a common ground. Our differences helped us to understand what's on the other side of the coin. How to deal with different type of personality. My Guy bestie is manic deppressive, one is conservative , one is naive yet adventuruos but one thing in common ... we are all crazy! lol! **Have you ended a friendship with someone?** Naaah! I can't remember any , we just lost contact but ending it intentionally was not. **Have you lost a bestfriend?** Yes my first bestfriend i lost from commiting suicide. Her name is Agnes. I was there several times when she attempted doing it , but when we parted ways ... and she's broken , i was far away from her , she did it. Two weeks prior to her demise, she sent me a 3 long pages of letter full of dreams and hopes, yet she lied so i won't suspect she'll do it again. **Do Women or Men make better friends?** No preference as for me. By experienced gender is not an issue. It depends on your personality. **Do you believe in Soulmate friends?** This i do believe for real. Unseen forces connected us. I did'nt look for them . I guess we are friends from the past reincarnated, hehe! I refer to them as the "Cream of the Crop". The best amo g fhe rest of my friends. Connections are too strong , we for several times dreamed of each other suddenly when one of us is need of someone to talk to or somehow in not good state. Me for instance would suddenly feel uncomfortable and uneasy then i will find out that one of them is not in good shape. My two bestie's are currently facing a bumpy ride. One, suspected for a blood cancer and will undergo , bone marrow test tomorrow. And the other one just lost her husband recently from Acute Leukaemia and she's now suffering from deppression and pneumonia. As i've mention , my connections to them are too strong i got affected too and can't help but to feel anxiety and sadness too. I'm feeling blue and exhausted as if i am the one suffering. I was trying to give both of them some strength. You know like a vampire , allowing them to suck in my own blood so they could ease their pain and survive. Hoping and praying they both survive their ordeals. I love them so much , it's also hard for me knowing they are facing difficult days lately. **In conclusion...** I am not a perfect friend nor a perfect soul , i have flaws i am aware of but i am real . I don't care much about other peoples lives. " You'll go your way and i'll go mine , as long as our paths don't cross you don't bug me " attitude is what i am. I don't mess around and i value your privacy as i highly values mine. I am simple and living with the basic. If you want to be friend with me , i am open for it. I am not special , i am just me. I can read minds ?? no, but if we are close , i could feel your pain or happiness as if our hearts beat as one . That's the magic of friendship , wonders of being soulmates! I was talking with my other bestie a while ago whom her husband died from Acute Leukaemia recently and i am disheartened once again coz she's suffering from pneumonia and depression. Her health , body and mind suffers from the lost of her husband. The doctor advised her to consult a Psychiatrist for counselling. I could feel her pain and struggle to cope . 😔 My heart ache for her. Losing your better half is like losing half of your desire to live too. That's what she's feeling right now. After mass , we went to a nearby "kainan" , below 100 ang menu with unli rice and soup. Kapag dimo naubos yung rice magbabayad ka additional 15php, not bad diba? Bawal ang tira. I'm still coping with my sadness , alam nyo yung lutang moments? Yung you are doing your usual things or routine pero para kang wala sa sarili? Natatapos mo yung mga dapat gawin na di mo namamalayan? You know where i give credits whenever i'm feeling blue yet i was able to finish all my task? It was all because of our Good LORD! I know if i would just rely on my own then i wont be able to accomplish a thing nor even get up coz i just want to lie on bed the whole day! I know He's holding my hands the whole time and even carries me when it seems like i can't even move to make a step. How truly grateful i am for it! Thanks G! How are you noisers? We have no control of what's happening around nor we can't totally shield ourselves from it. We can't help but get affected by certain circumstances but somehow we can equip ourselves with PRAYERS and FAITH to face all of it. -note to self The Sun will never cease on rising to give us HOPE and a new beginning.
