Where Fresh Water Meet The Sea | The Obong Spring (nature and history)
You usually seen most of my travel is in the mountain or peak but at this time I will show you one of our pride in my place here in Dalaguete, Cebu and it is the “Obong Spring”. This is located at the last barangay before you will reach the next province which is Alcoy. Obong Spring is popular for its natural pool. You can see that there are old trees which are known as “Dalakit”. There is a history behind these trees. During Spanish time, soldiers were passing a woman who was taking a bath. They asked her what is the name of the place and she misheard it. She thought they were asking for the name of the tree so she said it’s “Dalakit” but commonly as “Dalaguete”.
This is the best place to dip in during sunny days because the water is cold and refreshing. Another thing that makes it mysterious is how freshwater meets the sea. By paying only 20 Php ($0.40). , this includes the entrance fee and parking fee, you can now experience how freezing it is and clear the water is. There are cottages for you to rent on. The cheapest one is 100 pesos ($ 2.00) and the special is 200-300 pesos ($3.99 - $5.99) but on my part, to save money, I just put my stuff on the big rocks which I usually do every time I will visit there. I would like to suggest to come on weekdays because it will be too crowded specifically on weekends since this place is one of the most visited spots here in the Southern part.
There are changing rooms to change and toilets for you to go so you will not find it too difficult. One of my favorite snacks to eat there is the roasted banana spread with margarine and poured refined sugar. Only those who can relate to this food will surely miss its good taste. This spring serves as my fiancée’s easy go hub for her to relieve her stress and she really loves to meditate while dipping in the cold water. She likes this place and before the lockdown, we always come here 3 times a week due to her request. I will drive for her wants to refreshen her mind and soul. We drink wine sometimes, play relaxing music and chill.
I can remember a long time ago during my Secondary days, I was able to climb on that “Dalakit “ tree for me to jump in and dive but nowadays they are not allowing anyone because it happened before that there are irresponsible and careless tourists who abused the tree in a wrong way. To show support, so it would be better to close the accessibility to everyone on climbing it. In addition, the sea is available too near the spring. So there are two options for you to dive in. Even though there are renovations done to make it more attractive but the people who maintain it remain its originality and that is the freshwater pool.
I will never be fed up coming back to this beautiful spring. If it happens I am living near to this spot then there is no single day I will not go here. We have our own way to feel relax and relieve. Some of us want to eat craved foods, movie marathon, go to the massage center, and ours is regularly dipping in this cold spring. To those people who never try to make this as your escapade from stress then do this and for sure, you will love it.
Restoring Something Memorable
My first project when I came back to the Philippines is to restore my big brother's motorcycle. The Motorcycle was unused for almost 4 years since my brother died in a car accident. For the Love of my brother's memories, I and my father agreed to clean and restore the motorcycle. It was really dusty and rusty but still in good shape. The brand of the bike is KTM RC 390 not really an old model.
As you can see in the .gif the bike is really abandoned and almost forgotten for how many years. When I came back here, I asked my father about the status of the bike if they still use it because I really did not notice the bike. My father told me to check in the garage. When I check it I really feel so bad because it looks really bad.
We cleaned it and I called a motorcycle mechanic to check the status of the sensitive part of the bike. Then he concluded that the main problem only is the dead battery. So without hesitation, I bought the necessary one.
We need to value every memory of our loved ones. Every time I ride the bike I always remember our happy memories together with my big brother. Now It's working perfectly and ready for my next road adventure. I am looking forward to my next travels with this bike and share it with you guys.

I am a Nature Lover
I am motivated to write an article here because I am a nature lover. I spent most of my time with mother nature.
Nature setting has always been the safest place to go. Since I was born from a far-flung area with great scenery it was my day to day view. It is why my heart is close to every single piece of nature's beauty. One thing I am a fan of Nature simply because I am raised by farmers who are my parents as well.
Every time I see the greenery surroundings, this keeps me remembering my parents' hard work and all the sacrifices they did for us to survive. Through nature, it provides our daily needs. That is why as a Photographer, I started to travel different places to promote Nature Conservation, cleanliness and encourage people to protect always what we still have because if there's no NATURE, Life is meaningless. I am proud and have great pride in my Province because it was one of the most visited places in Southern Cebu by tourists.
My place was known as the Vegetable Basket of Cebu. It is the only place that has tens of Peaks to trek or hike on. But this time, I will show my captured images from a small stream. This can be passed through the bridge where gives a signal that you are entering Sitio Mag-alambak, Mantalongon Dalaguete, Cebu. I considered this as an enchanted forest. Seeing the tall trees, moths on the rocks, and seeing unexpected wild ones like a snake that appeared on my first visit.

Helped me to overcome my fear.
Honestly, writing is not my expertise. I am having difficulty with that matter. I am still conscious of Grammar and Sentence Structure. Every time I want to write an article, I always do brainstorming which is part of creating content and writing all the ideas in my head. Then after I organized my thoughts that's the time I ask help with my fiancee for the Finale. This kind of platform (read.cash) helped me to be confident when it comes to macro skills in Writing to share my ideas aside from that, it helps me to express my feelings. At first, I don't care about grammar or any syntax errors in writing but later on, I started to practice my weakness. Before I really don't write because of the shyness and lack of confidence, I am conscious that my writing is not good and people will laugh and make fun with it. I still remember my teacher in English class on my elementary days how he embarrassed me in front of my classmates about my essay and my penmanship too. He was insensitive to the possible outcomes of how it affects me. I am afraid of writing, I am scared to commit mistakes and I am worried that maybe someone will read it and will laugh at me.
I can feel how my teacher shows his expressions to me where I was like a damn idiot person and brainless student. What hurts the most is he predicted that I will not be successful in my goals in life that I am a person with no skills and useless. It is one of the most unforgettable experiences I had in my life at school. An experience that I want to burry or even the name of the teacher and his face that always appears in my mind. I was motivated since I experienced that worst experience to study hard and pursue my dreams. I wanted to prove to the people who judged my future that I can achieve my dreams in life without them. Look at me now, I am beyond their expectations. I was grateful that it happened to me because he served as my key to keeping living, continue learning, and make myself proud of what I accomplished.
This kind of matter needs a great focus or concentration. Before I started to hate myself, I hate that I have a limited vocabulary range where I find it difficult on how to begin a simple sentence or paragraph. I am really thankful that this kind of platform exists because it really changes my perspectives in writing. It helped me to overcome this kind of fear. Taught me for more brainstorming and what's the additional incentive? by earning from it. I learned a lot because of the people on the platform through different communities and articles. Every shared story and encountered experiences help me a lot. Thank you so much.

A Greatest Smile | Photo Journal
There are two adjectives people can describe Filipinos, hospitable, and happy. This was proven already with foreigners or tourists all over the world how hospitable we are to accommodate visitors. Despite the circumstances in life, we still managed to smile. That’s what makes us unique.
Today’s journey, I am going to share my experience when I went to the mountain and able to meet new people. As a photographer, it is in my duty to explore and discover something that could touch the lives of every citizen. It was the afternoon when I arrived at my destination. I was setting up my tripod and cameras while waiting for sunset for me to capture the best shots. Suddenly I heard the sound of children laughing. They were playing a racing game using dumped bicycle wheels. I was amazed at how they customized it. I think it is a brilliant idea to make their own alternative toys instead of buying new expensive ones. I had a long chat with them.
I encouraged them to keep dreaming and study hard for their future. Many of them want to be a teacher, police, and doctors. They shared their different stories in life. One of these is how to be happy in a simple way. This is where I believe in the saying, “Money can’t buy happiness.” This moment is a perfect time to reminisce about my childhood days.
I may not able to take shots of the sunset but I have these kids’ beautiful smiles. They really love to be exposed to the camera. I can hear how they giggled for excitement to see their faces. This was more than I expected. I will forever treasure these photos because it tells a wonderful story.

Freeze Action and Moments | Photo Journal
Each of us has a calling on which field we are in. Suddenly everything was changed when I started to invest in buying gadgets which I owned my first GoPro Hero 4. It leads to my curiosity and pursuing my interest in photography. I started from simple shots since I am in the process of learning. I could rate myself 1 out of ten according to the knowledge I am working on but this pushed me to go beyond its limits and by then I slowly love the art of photography.
Those people who have been following my journey here in read.cash, you know that I am into different sections of skills and one of my best is photography. I started to extend my passion for photography when I won an Action Camera in an online giveaway sponsored by GoPro. I was able to get another model of Gopro Hero 5 which is a voice command and that's what makes it easier for me to take shots. I utilized the Action Camera in my journey in life, travels, and challenging adventures. Now, I would like to share the following captured images which were taken by me. It received an acknowledgment and won rewards in my social media handles.
*Taking photos gives me the power to freeze action and moments. One of the purposes we need to collect photos because they are good to keep and easy for us to look back on memories. As once said, Money can't buy good memories.*

Travel Around the World at Global Village | Dubai UAE
Dubai is filled with spectacular spots. It is a country that is aiming to have lists of GUINNESS World of Record. There are many options for you to choose from and we decided to see what is in “Global Village”. As far as I heard, it is a good place to see a variety of products. It feels like you are traveling around the world because you can see different countries’ monuments, culture, and souvenirs.
In my preview. By seeing the place, I really thought that it is a huge castle and I am expecting that it should be a Prince and Princesses theme, but I was wrong from my expectations. As you can see from the view, it is way better to go there at late night or evening because the colorful lights will catch you the most
Yey! Finally, we got our tickets. It is kind of hassle to fall in line, but it is going to be worthwhile. In my experience during that night, it was already crowded from the outside and wondering how about inside? Hmmph! I cannot wait to see what is in there.
The very first country I passed through is “Egypt”. It was a big WOW! When I see the creative patterns and their ancient wall printing. I can relate to their History since it is my specialty as my major in the Education field. As far as I know, they did it according to their beliefs as respect for the dead ones for them to be recognized and remembered by the Egyptian Gods. The paintings represent the afterlife. What History!
Can you see that? Possibly hundreds of tourists went on that day. Aside from good weather, it is a perfect place where families, friends, and colleagues can spend time together to have fun and enjoy. As a tourist, you should be careful with your belongings and just go wherever you want within the Global Village and make it your best night!
Beside is the Chinese art when it comes to painting. She showcases her talent by creating amazing pieces of art such as umbrellas and fans which are typically part of their history. This sort of workshop is a deserving one to be recognized not just locally but internationally.
This is where you can register your information and activate your Carnaval card. Prices and offers are posted. The advantage of having it is that you can access sets of activities but depends on your car's value. The higher the better to have unlimited entertainment.
To be in Rome is my greatest dream to go but for having less chance to travel, I think the place helps me to have my journey there by looking at the colosseum in the Roman Empire. Thanks, Global Village, you brought me here!
Another makes different what is in there is this challenging and to death show. It was my first time to see this kind of exhibition. They were really experts are mostly they were Americans who conducted the show. I was shocked too because the ladies were brave enough to conquer their fears by facing the fire, heights, and other breathtaking events.
Sorry I was not able to show you the different tasty foods I tried when I went there. I was just enjoying it and the view as well. This is a good recommendation for those planning to be happy and relax. I assure you that after the long walk and roaming around you will get tired but sleep in harmony with great memories to keep.

Simple Portrait | for constructive criticism
A simple portrait. These posted photos have permission and consent from my model for portfolio purposes. I want to share these shots for constructive criticism. Since I am a newbie photographer, I want to receive any critiques from my fellow photographers on this platform. The comment box is open for any suggestions. I took these images using my Canon 80D in 50mm 1.8 STM lens. Taking a shot with natural light is always a challenging moment as a beginner photographer. I am proud that I successfully took these photos without any artificial light. I will post the unedited version of the image in the comment section. I can't wait to read your comments guys.

Street Vendor- Short Documentary
https://lbry.tv/@gohenry:7/TheVendor:6
This short documentary will bring you to a great realization in life. I met Mr.Molina for the second time at his location where he sells a delicacy. "Budbud" is usually a rice cake wrapped in banana leaves. He shared how it changes everything when this pandemic hits hard in his livelihood. I highly salute this man through his hard work on how to make an alternative to have an income due to lockdown. He managed to sell his products online.
His regular customers are passengers from buses but it's getting less since buses are still not available to operate. The lesson we can get from Mr. Molina is that we should not complain about what we don't have. We should find ways how to survive and provide needs for our family in day to day living. We shouldn't lose hope and believe ourselves that everything is possible and we are capable of doing anything as long as you are doing it with a great purpose.
I hope everyone here in hive communities will support my journey in making projects especially short documentaries. You have heard the first story there are more upcoming stories to tell.
Simple Way To Save Mother Earth
Human Activities affect a big impact on how nature changes. As they have said if a man is a problem, then man is the solution. Through educational involvement on how to improve the environment, it widens the interest of every citizen on what good action they can contribute. One of these is through collecting trashes. We are the stewards of God’s creation, so we are responsible for how to keep clean and maintain our surroundings.
It is not only a high risk of garbage in the city, but rural areas are suffering too. Even if you are living in the forest there is no excuse. Because there are humans who are abused by their actions. How can we make a better place? There are many alternative ways to solve this issue. First, you must learn to segregate. Second, you can reuse or recycle some objects then create a new project, for instance, a plastic pot for your plants, pencil holders, rags, and etc.. Then you can decompose the left-over fruits, vegetables, and more.
Its been four months from now since the lockdown. This is the perfect time that mother earth can replenish and recover from different types of pollution such as air, water, environment, and noise pollution. This reminds us that everything is connected to everything else which means whatever we do to our nature it will come back to us. It's like a win-win process if you do good you receive good.
If you do bad you receive worst. Staying at home does not make me bored at all. Helping the environment could be more fun. I trained myself to collect trashes every Wednesday with my good friend. By doing this in my own simple way it is already a big help saving mother earth. I hope everyone will spare time sharing this article as awareness to all citizens and this will lead to the next generation. We should value the natural resources because if not, we will all wake up NOTHING.

The Farmers - Short Documentary
https://lbry.tv/@gohenry:7/TheFarmer:2
In life, there are some that are important and a lot of that isn’t. Every individual has its own goals to achieve in different aspects of life. The local farmers are buckling down for something else to support their necessities. Despite a tiring day from work, they still able to get relief because they were surrounded by the people who love them and they love.
There are small towns in the Philippines that have great scenery such as peaks and farm fields. In the Southern Province which is Mantalongon, Dalaguete is well-known as the Vegetable Basket of Cebu. Life is difficult especially living in a far-flung area. Most locals here are farmers who I highly salute because they were one of the producers of vegetables in Cebu City and other neighboring provinces.
This is where the locals built their independence, passion, patience, and sharpen their determination.
This short documentary will teach us more our purpose in life, appreciate what we have, and learn what makes us contented. You should give yourself a pat on the back about the good things you did as count. Just be yourself and that makes a human being so authentic. Life will not be boring if you dedicate it to something where you invest your commitment.
We should be versatile to be productive. This video is a tribute for all local farmers who have never-ending to manifest their strong points of strength.

First Experience in Debut Photo-shoot | Open for Constructive Criticism
Today I would like to share my first experience in shooting a debut. The story begin when I got a call from a friend asking if I can proxy him to shoot a debut. Without hesitation, I answer him yes, for experience purposes. Then he sent all the detailed instructions, the dos and don ts, and call time. I was excited but felt nervous since I got no experience in debut photography at that time. I wake up early around 5 am in the morning. I prepared my gears, then proceed to the venue. When I reached the location the videographer welcomes me. And the receptionist calls us and offer breakfast.
Debut in the Philippines is celebrated when a teenage girl is turning 18 years old. Every girl is dreaming to have this kind of event. This experience of mine was quite unique because of the story behind the debutant. Actually she doesn't have any idea of what his family is trying to plan on her special day. She thought it's a family reunion. The whole team including me are aware of what supposed to happen on that day. In the middle part, she was wondering why she was wearing a nice red dress. When she went downstairs she was surprised and speechless about what she saw. It's a bit dramatic since when she was small her parents were separated and only that day they were complete. According to the father's speech he made it as payback for the years, he misses from his daughter. The lesson I learn from this is that everything is never too late to forgive people and accept their past for the betterment of the family's future.
****These Are My Sample Shots****
I hope everyone can appreciate my work. These photographs are open to constructive criticism. Please drop a comment for any suggestions. Thank you!
A Nowhere Journey to Cambais Falls
The older I get, the more I am thirsty for adventures. I will always cherish every single day the chance why I still exist in this world which simply means there more fun to do to satisfy myself for collecting the good ones. There were hear and say that in the Southern part in Alegria, Cebu there is a so-called paradise The Cambais Falls.
It took me to travel for almost half an hour from my home town in the mountain. What's funny about my adventure on this day is that I am just continuously driving my motorbike while straightly following the road.
I don't have a google map with me to help where I am exactly and every time I asked the people I passed they have only the same response it is still far or we don't know. Through this travel journey, I am getting more excited to be there and discover what's in there. Until I saw clues for me to believe that I have already arrived at the place I am looking for.
I am happy how the children welcomed me where they offer that they will be the one to keep an eye of my motorbike. Before I went to the exact destination, I drank fresh coconut juice which is really good as a starter drink. The residents and tour guide were friendly and accomodating.
I considered this as a Virgin Paradise because I witnessed how they conserve nature. If you are there, you really wanted to keep on dreaming because the environment will give you a positive vibe and clearing up your thoughts in mind. I walked around 10 minutes before I reached the Second entrance where I paid the entrance which cost 5oPhP per adult. They are offering safety gear for you to rent on. When I read their reminder I was happy to know that every Monday they are closed because it is the Falls Rest day. It is necessary to have a day for nature to refresh and deserve silence for nature to be peaceful.
I saw a small farm near the falls which is a perfect scenery combination.
I was shocked when I saw the first level because the water's color is what I expect then reality happens. It was good timing on that day because it has fewer people only which means not too crowded and easy for me to explore without disturbance. So there is no regret of going there even though there is no assurance where is it exactly is. Due to my curiosity, I decided to go to the second level to see what's more interesting up there.
I t was a bit challenging especially it was slippery and I was not able to have complete gear while having my adventure there. I was thankful that there were wooden stairs that help me to reach more the strongest stream of the water from the falls. This kind of experience is really fit for those adventurers most specifically who loves falls trekking.
As a first-timer visiting Cambais Falls, I would like to recommend it because it is worthy and people should witness how catchy the environment is. I am promoting this too since It is still discoverable from foreigners who really have a fond of exploring this type of experience. I am still planning to come back here and bring my family and friends to see how this paradise is like a dream come true. This happened before the lockdown. So I am praying for everyone's safety so there is a chance for me to explore again.

Full Stack And Mobile Developer Investing in Agriculture - Short Documentary
https://lbry.tv/@gohenry:7/PandemicStories:9
Here are my episode of the Pandemic stories. Mr. Tangpos is a full stack and mobile developer. He shared his life differences between city and province. He was able to convert his way of living to something beneficial specifically to his health.
He reminds us that we should give more attention to our health because it’s the only main source of everything why we can do such things that we need and have to do. There is an exact moment in our life to awaken which pathway to take in and taking risks is part of it. So he decided to stay where he was raised. He is an inspiration to every home-based dependent who finds a way how to pay back his people in his community.
Aside from facing his computer most of the days, he invested in Agriculture and gave jobs to the people from his town. Mr. Tangpos is considered as his people’s HOPE because, without his good heart, these people’s families will suffer more than what we expected.
In this video, We will learn that despite burdens we are suffering, there are still kind people who are selfless and opened their arms from other’s arms. We should help as long as we can because good teamwork could be a big blessing to anybody. During this pandemic, it taught us how to be a concerned citizen from other’s life. We should share what we have because whatever you do, is a BIG aim for them.
