Popular liquor drink I like the Christmas holidays. For those dates, I always prepare a liqueur which is a typical drink in my country. Its name is cream punch.  In some recipes egg yolks are used as a thickener but as I am not a friend of egg smell in drinks I prepare it in a particular way using another thickener. I prepare many bottles and tell my clients every year so they can taste them again. Most of the clients I have asked have confirmed that they are satisfied with the taste. Because I don't add much rum either. The drink is made with rum, sugar, thickener, and flavoring, nothing else, and the way it is prepared are what determines its quality. This image is from my property. Although it is written fácik is a drink that gives me a little work because I make it in three parts, I mean by this that first I prepare the thickener and refrigerate it, then the next day I prepare the drink that must be liquefied and on the third day I give it the final touch to taste the thickness and flavor. This drink remains in the refrigerator for a few days and is then sold in 400 cc bottles.  At an affordable price and generally, my customers are women. Although my drink is very tasty I can say that I don't drink the cream punch except to check and ratify the flavors because I particularly only like wine. This image is from unsplash. This is a popular liquor drink in my country and although I don't give you the recipe, just knowing that it is sweet, and thick, with rum, you can imagine how pleasant it is.

Yesterday was always better Greetings to all my dear readers as always. Today I come here because I found in the post of my dear @Ruffa the invitation of another user to write a post with his questions. I had never read him before so I will dabble in his questions. His name is @Coolmidwestguy and I am delighted to read his post. I will answer his questions the way I like to write here. This platform for me has meant a lot in my life that's why I find it hard to leave it even if the bot is no longer there to tip me. This was my best source of family income and I always loved it. Even in the moments when I was badly classified by envious comments that as always everywhere there are. The bot punished me several times with its absence for third-party reasons. A bad comment from a new user who said that I was complaining about my income and it was false, I just told him that my publications were earning well but in some cases, my tips were going down. He immediately made a post where he praised the platform and complained that I did not appreciate my tips. There I was grounded for months until I saw the bot again. Another time someone called me spam and the bot didn't go through for weeks. I always stayed here without being ungrateful and I still appreciate it and will for the rest of my life. It helped me to live in this precarious situation we live in the country. This was my favorite thing at the beginning, the payments, then it was the interaction with people I met and we became virtual friends. The way I found to express myself here without ties, was to make my mind fly and to discover many aspects of my writing that I didn't know others could like. It is priceless. There is no other place where I was paid to write my life, my thoughts, my advice, and my blessings such as my job and plants, as lavishly as I was rewarded. That's why I find it hard to leave this. I wish I could come and find more friends and continue to interact and tip each other even if in smaller amounts as a symbolic act. It kind of stimulates the thought that we are being revalued in our posts again. Now it is a symbolic gain because it has nothing to do with what we were earning before but to stay a little longer among friends is worth the symbolism. We are coming a few and I would like you to continue coming to meet us and comment as always our lives here. Even if it is few times as I do since I have to look for places where I can receive money in exchange for my writing, I love it here. Somehow I always appreciated my participation here even staying for many months being one of the first 10 users to tip the most here to other users. I used to go to the posts and leave my tip and comment and mostly helped the newbies to be comfortable in their start and then already let them go on their way to go with the next one. I also used to do contests to give tip prizes to the winners. All my fellow users would collaborate and give part of the money to increase the prizes and so from three prizes, I would give 10 or more money prizes. Those were times of participation and friendship. That is what I will miss most about this platform. I look forward to reading your posts and keeping up the interaction. Thank you for your questions, they made me relive the past and made me nostalgic. To participate read this https://read.cash/@Coolmidwestguy/read-questions-readcashrain-announcement-fbd814f5

It's just a step with nostalgia Hi dear friends. Today I want to tell you that I went for a walk with my son in one of the most recognized shopping malls in my city. Believe me, it gave me a lot of nostalgia. My son and I remember the times when at the same time we are walking today in other years there were many more people. In the stores inside, in the walkways, in the aisles, in the street. Today I only see with sadness what I am showing you, everything is desolate, there are many cars in the parking lot but inside the stores, there are very few people that I could see. We even looked for the different ice cream shops that were always here and today we only found one open, the rest are closed. I consulted one of the people who attend a shop and she told me that there are many shops that closed due to lack of personnel. Others closed because they left the store or the country, and others are closed because it is January and they are resting from December's work. But today is January 11, and most of the stores started working on Monday the 9th because they gave vacations before December 31. The truth is that this commercial center was many years ago one of the most visited centers of attraction throughout the year. Everything changes and the changes that are happening in my country are very frequent and drastic. The economy is still in free fall. The market was dollarized but in the same way, the people are supplied by remittances sent by relatives who have left the country and are traveling the world in search of improvements for themselves and their families. Mine have also left, there are several relatives who left this country several years ago to settle in North and Central America. Probably when my son finishes his thesis he will also have to leave in search of better work alternatives. The minimum wage for workers and pensioners continues to fall and today a pensioner receives $6.7 a month. And day by day it is going down more and more. In other words, that amount is what the government gives me monthly as a pensioner. After working for 47 years in my country, I am still working, this is what I receive from my country as a pensioner. For this reason, millions of people prefer to risk their lives going through so many difficulties in the countries where they have had to leave, in order not to have to face the hard reality that exists here. I am still working at 62 years old and I am still in private practice I continue to do many activities where I receive economic benefits. I also have my son who works and is a great collaborator. Life is beautiful in spite of all the difficulties and yesterday I was able to go out with my son, watch the Canals in the back of the commercial center, we were able to have a friendly conversation, and then have an ice cream to say goodbye in the evening to this beautiful place. Thanks to my dear @Telesfor who frequents my few publications in this place and leaves me his affection in the form of a tip, there is also another benefactor that I never saw before and has passed by here to leave me a tip for which I am very grateful. He is @ewyr Thanks also to all those who leave their kind comments.

Cosmos sulphureus plant Hello dear reader friends today I show you my butterfly nourishing plant, it is a charm, it fascinates me with its color and because it gives more beauty to my garden by attracting beautiful butterflies. It is a shrubby plant that can reach two meters depending on the variety. It comes in various colors such as white, pink, purple, or yellow. It is very leafy and is always full of flowers when it reaches maturity. It remains blooming all year long and then gives way to new plants which are very easy to reproduce by the seeds of its flowers. It comes from Mexico, it likes tropical climates and is very fond of the sun. The flowers are edible so they can be used in baking as an ornament. It is a plant that attracts butterflies. The garden where it blooms will always have beautiful butterflies around it. It is not very demanding in terms of very nutritious soils but it does not tolerate dry soils. It must always be watered. Apart from butterflies, it is also attracted by insects that look for their honey and so they are very easily pollinated. In my garden for now I only have this beautiful color but I hope to continue to obtain other beautiful specimens to enjoy in the company of my dear readers.

My little cactus Hello friends I have had time to dedicate to my garden. My sister who many months ago also wrote here and retired. She has visited me and as she also likes planting a lot she has brought me some of her small cactus and succulents. I have come here today to show them off. I know that many of you are also kind to plants. Although I know that there are fewer people around here now, I know that some of my friends have stayed. Enjoy this small but pleasing to the eye view. Sedum Hispanicum: This is a small-sized succulent that is used ornamentally to make arrangements in pots and on rocky ground. It is dense growing and creeping. Kalanchoe crenata Kalanchoe Crenata is used in indoor ornamental spaces or gardens. They are easy to maintain and are easily propagated by cuttings. Euphorbia Trigona: It is known as the African milk tree because of the production of latex in its stems or leaves when detached from the plant. It is also called cathedral cactus although it is not a true cactus but rather a Euphorbia. It is of African origin. Sedum Clavatum  It is a succulent native to Mexico. It grows in the form of rosettes very grouped and its color depends on exposure to the sun or not. Being the leaves of a pink tone when exposed to the sun and of greenish tone when being in shade. Kalanchoe laxiflora This plant propagates very easily, it can support the not-very-intense sun rays but it also grows in the shade, which is why the tone of its leaves changes from light green with reddish edges to bluish green when it is placed in the shade. I will be back with other species my dear friends. I'm @gertu13 from Venezuela to the world.

No surprise Greetings friends all. Today that I have returned after a long time without writing on the platforms I find that here on read.cash a message is sent through our appreciated bot, the rusty. To inform you that he was making his last payment, but he is now leaving. It is a surprise not unexpected, although I knew it would happen I did not think it would be so fast and much less on these dates. It only remains for me to thank the figures who represented this platform for the good done to me. I have written many times that writing here was like my job, a passion that was paid. I earned my place here with all these nice people I met here, many of them I have seen on another platform and I hope to continue seeing them. Thank you for all the gifts I got although there were several times that I went through hardship because I was misinterpreted as spam, then I was recognized and valued again. I earned my good place here and was rewarded with many bot votes and many good friends, followers, and content creators. I would like to say that I don't like the idea of this being lost as it's a nice big family we made here. I will be coming back to see posts from my friends and I will write something from time to time until it is all over if that is what everyone wants. Thanks to all my sponsors who were there for me for so long. Thanks to all my dear friends forged here, from where I take many of their memories. I hope to continue to see you on the road. Thank you dear robot for your support for so long and especially in my first year here when my economic situation was so critical and your presence in my publications satisfied my minimum economic requirements. Thank God for allowing the creation of this platform, it helped me and many people as it did with me. Too bad it has to end. We will continue to see each other as friends. Strange disappearances Many things happen in life that seems strange to us, but how strange can they be with so much technology that is becoming more and more overwhelming? Each invention is stranger than the previous one and makes us think in our ignorance that if we have been able to live in times of so much creativity... why is it not possible that in other very distant times they could have been done as well. When scientists speak of the ancient Egyptians, they do it demonstrating that there was a superhuman intelligence to create such accuracy in the creation of the works. Then... why do we doubt that they were as or more intelligent than us? Nature has been in charge of burying in time many answers to our questions. I have thought about all this because I heard an old story of the disappearance of a little girl only 5 years old after her parents sent her to look for berries for a cake. The little girl ran off to get the berries and disappeared without a trace. The parents never tired of looking for her, they even had no more children just hoping that when they found her everything would be the same as if she had not left. The girl appeared, according to the parents, only 50 years later. The mother says that she was sitting at the front door as she did every afternoon and saw a little girl come running from the woods to the entrance of the house. It was the missing girl, her mother recognized her. As the child, she saw nothing strange in her mother and greeted her as if nothing had happened. For the little girl, the years had not passed but her parents were already very old, but the girl took it naturally. When the parents asked her where she had been, all she could say was that she was picking up some fruit. I heard no further clarification on this case. Nothing about whether she continued to be there or if she left again. Or if the police were able to see her and talk to her. Nothing, there were no more details of this story. I heard the story of a commercial airliner that left a country and then got lost in the air. The radars stopped seeing it, the search, the interrogations, the surveys of the airport equipment, and nothing, there was nothing. All the passengers and crew members of the plane were presumed dead, with the passing of weeks and months. It happened that after a few years, I do not remember exactly how many years, a plane that needed to land appeared on the radars of our country and was given permission to do so. However, the members of the team on duty in the airport cabin were surprised when the pilot told them what the plane was, and where it was coming from and they did not know why it appeared on the road of this airport out of nowhere. It managed to land and they tried to descend but something prompted them to take off again and get lost in the air again. Neither returned to their home country nor appeared in any other, they simply got lost again in nothingness. What happened here? Is this story true or is it a story created by the media? In fact, it appeared in the newspaper headlines and the news as an unexplained event. I don't know, whether to believe or not to believe, I tend to believe everything I am told even if it is said by a mythomaniac. I like to believe in the people and stories I read. Although they fill me with uncertainty not being able to explain and answer so many questions that are born in my mind. I heard the story of a 53-year-old Romanian citizen who disappeared in 1991 and turned up in 2021. That is, 30 years later he appeared in a car that stopped in front of his house and threw him out of the car. He left to go by train to a place where they would buy his cattle, as he often did, but he never returned home. It was not until last year that he came home and he could not recognize the family members and did not know what he did during all these 30 years of absence. He only remembered his life until the day he disappeared. The strange thing is that the 93-year-old came back with the same clothes he left with and the train ticket he bought in the year of his disappearance. Incredible, isn't it? Sometimes when my son reads real stories of an event that caught his attention and when I ask him about the details and he usually answers that he didn't read enough to answer me, then I just tell him... "Don't tell me stories that then you won't complete the content to make it more feasible." It just seems to me that he makes something up to tell me and then he doesn't know the details. It's right or wrong, I don't know, I just know that the details of the event are important to make a story can be more believable. This is my point of view, maybe yours is different. I love my cats My little tabby cat has been very different for several weeks now. He has changed his way of being, he no longer runs around the house and is always lying down somewhere looking to many sides. He almost didn't eat, everything seemed bad to him. I have been buying him different foods, chicken, fish, and cat kibble and he doesn't like anything. To the point that we took him to the vet who prescribed a deworming medicine, gave it to him, and asked us to watch out for changes. Meme now eats a little more but does not gain weight, I see a hole in his abdomen more and more pronounced. Twenty days passed and we took him back to the vet. He took his blood samples and sent them to the lab and also put him on a new deworming agent. The next day, the vet called me and sent me the test results and Meme has a blood parasite that is purely from dogs… The Anaplasma Platys… With exceptions, the bacteria lodged in red blood cells can reach cats as an isolated case through the bite of an infected tick. I don't know how he got infected, he lives at home and sleeps in my bed and my son's bed, since he arrived I have never felt a tick on his skin. We constantly cuddle and pet him. I don't know how he got infected. The truth is that he also has altered his liver function as his transaminases are a bit elevated. He is receiving treatment. It is for one month. He is receiving antibiotics and a liver protector in addition to an anti-allergic because his skin is changing due to an allergy. At first, I thought it was from mange but no, the vet says it's an allergy. I don't know how this little kitty got so many things at once. Now he follows me everywhere, he recognizes his name when I pronounce it and when he wants to go to the street I stop him with a call that he obeys. He comes back and with his slow walk, with his sad little face and a position as if he is cold all the time. It makes me very sad to see him like that. My son gives him the medicines, I help him. I taught him how to take out the doses of medicine and give it to him in his mouth to make sure he takes it. My little Meme is so cute, he doesn't put up much resistance while we force him to take those meds. Copito has never been sick with anything like that. He is a very big cat now, already weighing over 4 kg. He just eats and rests. And sometimes he fights with other cats from my garden. Many times he wants to stay outside at night and we don't stop him because he becomes very anxious. Otherwise, he eats very well and sleeps all day. When he wants something from me he comes up to me and gives me lots of affectionate demonstrations. I immediately know that he wants an advance of a food. No, he must wait his time. He is too fat. Now the one who worries me is my Meme, I hope he responds well to the medications and we manage to get rid of that parasite that keeps him thin and does not let him put on weight even though he is eating a little more each time. His look is still very sad and his head is always lowered, unless it is feeding time when his eyes become very big, round, and expressive, with his head very high. Have you ever had a cat with dog disease?    All photos are my property, taken with my redmi note 9 phone.

They are not rains, they are storms The rains or rather the storms have brought many disasters to the urbanism closer to the mountains. People sometimes build where they can, without making any kind of study of the environment around them. They build near rivers, and springs, which were once great receptacles of water from the mountains, but as we live in a country where it hardly rains. There are years when the rains come from far away. This is not the case this year, the storms, which are many, have entered the Caribbean and have hit my country. In some cities even where there are supposed to be urbanizations made by trained engineers or even architects and personnel that are supposed to see the environmental details for urban planning. They have also been affected by landslides that have come down from the mountains and become destroyers of everything in their path. Trying to recover the path that was taken away from them before. Nature knows which are its ways to spill its waters and at the same time with its fury, it makes the roads open again. This is what has been happening in my country. Roads are isolated by avalanches of earth, rocks, and plants that have fallen from the mountains. Now they make communication difficult on roads that once were the only communication between one state and the other. Long lines of cars waiting for the roads to be cleared. In some cases, the people trapped on the road themselves decide to personally clear the road to continue on their way to their destination cities. It is not easy, there are huge rocks, very old trees, and slippery mud. Other towns have not been so lucky and heavy torrential downpours have dislodged enough organic material from the mountains to bring down entire houses and towns, burying them in mud, in many cases with family members themselves inside the houses. These landslides sweep away immense trees of many years of life, dragging houses, cars, even trucks, motorcycles, and any object that resists their movement along the path. We have seen how their force has dragged human lives, that is the most regrettable thing that my eyes can see. These are unfortunate situations that we see, we hear and we can only ask God to see for those people who today suffer the onslaught of the weather and to protect the rest of us away from these places of disaster. We keep asking God to minimize the force of nature on the environment itself and hope that he will hear us... but why don't we listen to the experienced ones who point the finger at ourselves as the culprits for all that we cause to nature? Talking about love or lack of love When talking about love there is always a tendency to say that there is no greater love than a mother's love. I also dare to say that the love of a father has sometimes been said to be as great as that of a mother. When parents are away for any circumstance in life it has also been said that grandparents are the best. They are so spoiled that the children claim they do for the grandchildren what they never did for the children. It is a different level of love from grandparents. I was never able to enjoy the love of my grandparents because my parents emigrated from their country and in these lands, I loved no one could be my grandparents. Here there were no aunts, no cousins, no grandparents... nothing. I always missed the figure of a grandfather who would spoil me like my friends' grandparents did in my childhood. The theme that attracted me was not so much the theme of love as the theme of lovelessness. How is it possible that there are mothers who throw away, give away, kill or mistreat their children to the point of traumatizing them? I have read these last days of so many events of people who do not love and rather have extremely harmed their closest family members. How can a mother kill her child at birth...? And to complete the damage throw it in the garbage or down the drain. She cannot be a real mother, she must have a defect in her brain that allows her to do this after having carried a child in her womb for nine months and at birth to kill it. It also happens that she can have him even if she does not want that child and then make his life impossible so that he cannot live his childhood as it should be. I read the case of some parents who had 13 children and all of them were mistreated. From the oldest to the youngest they were subjected to mistreatment, bad hygiene habits, and low food consumption. They grew up subjected to psycho-terror and were all malnourished. Until one of the older children, a 17-year-old teenager decided to run away and call 911. When the authorities found them they were amazed at the state they were all in. I have just read in these past two weeks two situations of grandparents abusing their granddaughters..... Is this possible in an individual who has his brain in good condition? I don't think so. When you love you protect, not harm. I tend to think in this case that if the grandfather abused his granddaughter, he probably did the same with his children. I didn't want to write about this topic but everywhere I go these terrible cases of child abuse have resounded in my ears and eyes. Where is humanity going with this lack of love? Where are we going when we see strange situations in our neighbors we just turn around and pretend we don't know anything or that it is not our problem. We are growing up on a planet where hate is founded and not love. Where pets are thrown into the street because they no longer serve us. Where we look down on the poor because they are indigent and we no longer believe them to be human beings. Where is love or lack of love going? Where are we going?

@gertu13

Being envious, I don't like it. Happy to be able to write dear friends of the great read.cash family. Today I want to share with you my thoughts on envy. There is healthy envy and perverse envy... I think envy is always bad. Sometimes we watch others as they grow and further their lives. We believe we have the right to want to have what they have. We don't realize that maybe that person has fought hard for what we see at the moment to see them in a better position than what we have. Sometimes it is inevitable to have envious thoughts toward other people around us. Even knowing that it is bad to envy we should make the best of that feeling and use it to stimulate ourselves to grow more each day. I do not believe in the necessity of having to hinder the growing path of that person with thoughts, ideas, and comments that do not allow us to continue the evolution of that person but rather we hinder it with our own ideas that can damage the reputation of a human being. By making bad comments about someone we only fill ourselves with more negative charges towards ourselves. And that may have splashed other people unfairly. Sometimes it is better to keep quiet and fight to open the paths to our progress in life without having to leave black marks along the way. I have had to pick up the ashes of misunderstandings that have cost me a price. To have a path free of obstacles and to always keep going upward is my motto. I don't get discouraged, I always go for more, and I always strive to keep growing. I don't care if I get leaders, bosses, or altruists in my way. Some with different opinions and others agreeing with me, I greet them and congratulate them for their growth and I go in search of my own destiny. I am not a person to have many friends because my thoughts are direct and sometimes bother others. I only have by my side excellent friends who know me and know my trajectory. Here on this platform, I have found many people who are wonderful. People who like my comments or publications and others I think will also be bothered in some way by my topics, but we have always gotten along well. The respect has been mutual. I hope it continues for as long as we continue to share. Life is not easy but we fighters keep going. Each one's path is made independently. It is not good to hang on to anyone to make a parallel life in the shadow of others. Envy has always existed and will always exist. I do not like that feeling and I have also suffered from it sometimes in my life. I apologize for that, but my struggles are mine, I have not taken them from anyone and I have not cowered in anyone's shadow. I like to grow and I will continue to do so. I like to write and I will continue to do so I wish everyone who participates in this community to continue to grow as a family, as it should be. The photograph is from unsplash.

Again with my plants Today I am encouraged to write about the plants. The kalanchoe plant is blooming. Some time ago I had this plant in a large pot and it had a bunch of large forces. This time I decided to leave it in a small pot. She grew into adulthood and now in the small pot, she threw up this bouquet of pink bell-shaped flowers. These flowers take a long time to grow from green buds to bell-shaped flower clusters. They are about a month old growing and are now slow to slowly open the petals and then dry out. It has been about a month since they have been in bloom. This species of Kalanchoe is lovely. I have been given a fruit that the gentleman says is called Chinese tamarind. I know Chinese tamarind which is a yellow or orange fruit with 5 points, then cut it looks like a star. I have eaten it and I love its flavor because it is citric, sweet, and juicy. I find this fruit that is strange to me. I looked up its name and it is called Guajilote. It grows in tropical climates. It is very fibrous in flesh but at the same time, it is sweet. It is not very pleasant as a fruit, but I also read that it is eaten roasted or boiled. Neither of these ways pleased me so I prefer to run it through my green juice extractor and drink its juice in the mornings. Do any of you recognize it from your country? My younger brother is also a plant lover and gave me this picture of his paprika plants in pots. They are just beautiful, don't you think? Nice, big, and healthy. My niece stopped by a friend's farm yesterday and immediately sent me this orchid picture, a beautiful white orchid. My orchids have not wanted to bloom since last year, I have lost many due to the long season without water. He also sent me this picture of a beautiful peacock. She said she is giving it to me to show my friends and so I brought them to her today. I am not very knowledgeable about mushrooms. This one has grown on a log because of moisture from the rains in my garden. I don't know if it is a toxic mushroom but I think it is not edible. To the touch, it breaks and after I took pictures of it kept bending until it fell to the ground, I think my turtle took advantage of its texture. Now it is raining, another storm is passing through the Caribbean coast and it has been here all afternoon and stayed in my garden. I could only do a few things like transplanting a small tree from one pot to another in my garden. I was also cutting some cardboard to make some ornaments that I want to make for my house. I was helped by the gardening helper at home. Since it was raining and he couldn't do anything in my garden he joined me with the scissors to cut cardboard for my Christmas ornaments. I haven't shown you anything yet, when the work is more advanced I will post the pictures and the ornaments. These are my news on this rainy day, I hope to be able to continue with normality for tomorrow. All photos are my property.

Each sheep with its mate or different being Very often or better expressed almost always we let ourselves be carried away by the appearance of people so that through our eyes we can establish contact with them. Our eyes are the first filter that we use to realize if a person meets the minimum requirements for us to approach him or her or not. Why do human beings tend to be so complicated in their relationships with their environment?..... Most of the time I notice how a person changes their behavior towards me after a long time of talking to them and somehow the comment comes out that I am a professional. If we are in a public place conversing with people who are strangers to us, why should I change my way of treating another stranger just by knowing that this individual is a professional? Because we don't treat people for their friendliness or their respectful way of conversing or any other attractiveness other than physical attractiveness, I mean. In many cases, I have seen how the conversation is directed towards physically attractive people or people that from the beginning of the conversation already express that they are professionals in a common subject, and from that point on everyone would focus their eyes on that person and the others go to the background. Sometimes I enjoy this fact. I let the conversation turn to people who arouse curiosity because of their physical attributes and those who want to be recognized as influential people because of their title as a professional. I am not a narcissistic or self-centered woman, I do not like to draw attention to myself in public places because I do not want to be approached by people so that their comments are directed toward me and my title as a professional. I want to be taken into account as a person who comments or issues a personal opinion as an ordinary human being. We are in a world that is becoming more and more frivolous, with a lack of empathy, with minimal feelings of detachment. We meet people every day who go out into the world only to say later in their privacy that they are successful people because they ate the world with their actions. I am sorry to have to discern whether I am happier when I get home than when I left. By the fact that people recognized me as an important being as a professional or if, on the contrary, I returned gratefully that they knew me as a pleasant person to deal with. I have never been attracted to places where people are selected for their appearance and not for being pleasant to deal with. I prefer and will always be grateful to people in public places who treat me in a great way as a quality human being. I like interacting on platforms because we make a lot of followers who ignore titles and follow us as genuine human beings. That's my humble opinion. Although in some gatherings where I get a lot of people trying to place themselves among their own I don't join them and usually move to where the funny or nice people with simple conversation are located. A lot to do in my garden Dear reader friends, I have been busy in my garden, as I told you I am making several adjustments and that takes a lot of time. Although to tell you the truth I don't know if this activity takes a lot of my time or if it gives more time to my life. I enjoy every moment in my garden, I have to take plants out of the pots and place them somewhere else. I have now placed two plants in rubber that have been prepared to pot. The assistant I have at home has helped me to cut the rubbers so that by joining two cut rubbers together they result in a big pot where I have transplanted a soursop plant and a cherry plant. I have fertilized them with chicken and sheep manure and homemade compost. It has been a pleasure to see how my plants like the change I made. I have also pruned a lemon tree. He has never flowered because he is still young but by tomorrow I will transplant him into another pot and put the same compost I mentioned above. I am also going to prepare a compound that will make them get stronger and they will inevitably have to give me their flowers. If I get my lemon tree to bloom I will be telling you which product I will use for the first time so that its production is done naturally without using harmful chemical products. My cucumber plants are producing very beautiful cucumbers. It is too many flowers that it produces for so few cucumbers but it is a very new plant that already has some cucumbers that can be harvested soon. The cilantro plants are growing very strong and vigorous. The chive seeds did not hatch as many as I wanted but have some small plants already. The celery seeds did not come up. The rains washed away all the seeds I was able to plant. I wanted to give them some time waiting for them to hatch but none did. So I am going to sow celery seeds again. My cacti and succulents have a nice place to be and the flowering and colorful leaf plants are being replaced with a better quality substrate and they are responding well. I still have a lot of work to do but I hope to finish it this week and start with other preparations in the house because October is leaving and November is coming with the necessary changes for Christmas. I will be showing you what I will be doing as Christmas decorations for my doors, walls, and the rest of the house this Christmas. For now, I leave you with these photos that I hope you like. It is just the work of several weeks in my garden, nothing more. All photographs are my property, taken with my Redmi note 9 phone.

Feeling the love Yesterday I was going to write about this topic and then at the last minute I decided to change it for a topic that caught my attention and that is what you read yesterday. Today I am writing about something that has been bothering me these days and it is the following. I am not a woman who is dedicated to being with pets for a long time. I like to play with them and then I move on to other things. A few days ago a kitten showed up in my yard. She was in very bad condition but still looked beautiful. Siamese breed, with beautiful sky-blue eyes.  I don't want to have any more kittens because I consider it too much responsibility to take care of them. There are two kittens in my house that I love, they adopted me and I accepted them but this other kitten arrived very sick in the garden. I thought she came from another house and then she would leave. And it did. She was a neighbor's cat but apparently, that same neighbor got upset with this kitten and kicked her out of his house. She was coming to my house for several days. I was sad to see her come and go and come back again, so I started giving her food and water. She would approach me when I was carelessly looking at and tending to my plants. She would run her back along my legs. At first, I thought it was my cat but then I saw it was her. She was very grateful for the food I gave her. She stayed for weeks in my garden and was recovering because she was malnourished, very ugly, and could hardly meow herself. I dare say that her owners gave her something toxic to eat or drink. Much sadness in my heart to know that cats are poisoned by some people. She was getting fatter and was happy in my garden and even meowed louder when she saw me. Until one day I was told that she was hit by a motorcycle in the street. The young man who works in my garden and helps me with the heavier chores told me. The run-over kitty was brought in and placed undercover in the garden. There was nothing to be done for her anymore. Tears in my eyes, such a beautiful being fallen by the evil of man. Moving on to another story I recently read about a horse that was found by two young men. They saw it in a muddy hole and thought it was dead, it was not moving and breathing could not be felt. They went over to try to pull it out and bury it so as not to leave it exposed to the elements. They realized that the horse was still breathing. They rushed to get help while they were giving him love and whispering words of affection as they proceeded to lift him off the ground. The horse was feeling the love and was slowly breathing a little more. The rescuers managed to get him out of the hole and together with the young people they were able to take him to a shelter. This horse had only skin and bones, lesions all over his body, and worms galore. The boys, especially one of them, whispered words of affection and caressed him. The horse arrived at the shelter where he was left with the rescuers who gave him their best. The horse survived but was very sad until he saw his first rescuers again. He was so moved that the people at the shelter asked the young man to keep visiting the horse because he would get up and eat more willingly when he saw him. This is how this beautiful horse was able to get up and be a beautiful specimen again. No one knows how anyone could leave this beautiful and loving animal alone and die. He became a beautiful stallion that gave a lot of affection to the people at the shelter. Soon after, the young man who was visiting the horse suffered a disappointment in love that was destroying him completely. And he thought of the horse he had rescued, who today was another animal, who gave up the thought and desire of death only because of the affection that people gave him. This thought alone helped him to bear his depression and he thought that there would be another chance for him. That he would fight as the horse did to find happiness again. Things in life do not happen to us by chance. There is always a reason for everything. There is always something to hold on to tightly to keep us going, an object, a thought, a person, but we must always find that stimulus within our hearts to move forward and not let ourselves be dragged down by sorrows. I don't know how there can be people who are mean to animals, maybe it's the same fact that there are also people who are very good to animals. Maybe it is the fact that in the universe there is always a balance of evil and good. Maybe we just have to accept things as they come without having to make judgments because we already have a judge who is in charge of the judgments. And we just have to do what we have to do. Let us do good without seeing to whom we do it and let us free all bad thoughts towards other human beings. Let things take their natural flow and let us not be the ones who decide to change the currents. Instead, let's do what we can to make others happy and take pleasure in it. So that we are not later asking for ransom for our actions or simply complaining because someone did not pay us back in the same coin. Long live life and long live love! Free writing, I love it I like to write, I like to write about any subject any day or at any time. I don't like to be tied to anything, that's why I don't like to write about established topics. If I wake up today and I thought about dogs or plants, I go and write about that topic. I know that many and I think most of the people I read love to follow the topics that others say. I think those others have a broader mind and can get in their minds the clarity of stating the topics that you have thought about. Many appreciate it. It's not that I can't do it sometime. I just don't keep up that pace. Because there are days in my days when I love to talk about topics that are inspiring and there are other days when I just want to write what my brain puts out there. It's not every day but today is one of those days. I have read several invitations to write on other platforms and just when I go to read the guidelines I read that I have to write about some set topics and believe me I just say goodbye and go another way. I think my spirit is rebellious, it doesn't get tied down, I don't like ties if they don't satisfy me. Therefore I must say that it is one of the characteristics that I have always been passionate about this platform since I came and was invited to write here. Although I must say that it was hard for me to start here because I was already writing on other platforms and I didn't want to write on new ones. Let me tell you that since I started here I never felt disappointed. Now even though I don't come here as often believe me that I like to get my thoughts out, put them here and receive some comments from friends who have been with me for some time. Some content creators have left, others have returned, and many did not return. I keep the memory in my mind of all those who have left and with whom I spent some time sharing. This morning I woke up to a power failure in my city. I was without power for more than 6 hours and in that time I think I refreshed my brain and decided to write about a topic that is not this one, but I changed it because when I went to read a writing invitation I had prefixed the topic and my mind took out its galloping horse and free to write about my thoughts on that. It's just my tastes, I don't criticize or judge those who like to constantly follow that other rhythm. My writing is not to criticize it is just to make my thoughts clear. I know that those who know me will not take my words as complaints, scorn, or prejudice. Those who know me know that I write bits and pieces of thoughts that come from my soul. I have a free heart, a galloping mind that never stops discerning. My mind races as much or more than when I was in my sweet spring years. These years of my gray autumn become more colorful the more the years go by. More color and life come to my mind than many years ago. Thanks to all who always accompany me in this passage through life and this platform. The image is from unsplash.

I do believe in spirits I was reading @DocLayla's post and I started to imagine so many things I have read, felt, and heard about ghosts. I thank God a thousand times because I have never seen any ghosts, but I can say that I do believe in earthly spirits that go around the world suffering and wandering. In the Bible itself there are stories of people possessed by evil spirits whom Jesus, with his prayer and constant fasting, had the marvelous power to cast out the sick people. I do believe that there are spirits that possess themselves innocent and unbelieving souls to carry out their evil deeds. Above all, I have read that these spirits are easily possessed by unbelieving bodies that go to look for sorceresses, witches, or fortune tellers to penetrate the spiritual world and bring these spirits to our level to answer the unknowns that people have of their dead. Spirits do not answer the questions of the living if it means nothing to them. These energetic beings only seek to satisfy their whims with the incredulous being. I know of the spirits of people who have died tragically and I do not know why they are travelers in this plane and are constantly looking for something in our plane. I am a nurse and I am a doctor for those who do not know it, during my life of practice in health since my 15 years of age I was hearing stories of colleagues to whom very strange things happened. Some of them suffered from auditory apparitions, others from apparitions of deceased medical and nursing personnel, people who were employees of that health care center and kept making apparitions. In this case, I usually think that they are spirits that take possession of the image of the worker to make their apparitions and go around bothering the world. On other occasions, I heard anecdotes of nurses who had helped doctors while there was chaos in the emergency room due to attending to too many emergencies at the same time. I heard my own colleagues tell the same story year after year, without changing details, as if they were living it all over again. Stories of events that occurred on their shifts on different shifts. I heard a colleague ask her on-call staff where was the patient who cried in labor and who did not let her sleep on her night shift, stopped listening to her when she had her baby and was able to sleep. While her on-call colleagues see each other's faces and inform her that no delivery came after she went to bed for her sleep shift. My colleague told me that story every time we would go to rest our 3 hours of sleep after a long day on call. It seemed so unbelievable to me to happen. She never went to bed alone after that. I went to bed alone all the time, I could never sleep with another colleague because when he was called for an emergency I would wake up too. I got used to sleeping alone I never had to see anyone in the darkness of the hospital that disturbed me. I never saw, heard, or felt anything strange. Nor do I doubt the veracity of the stories of my colleagues who tell them with a lot of reality and fear in their voices, gestures, and looks. I can only thank God that I was never frightened by any strange being. That when I felt the presence of my dead mother in my bed, I perceived her with the same love that I felt just minutes before when I dreamt of her. I never saw her after she passed away although I asked to see her many times. She has only come to my dreams on repeated occasions during these almost 30 years of her absence. Thank you Layla for using this topic that caught my attention to make mine today. What do you guys think about this topic? Has anything happened to you personally with mocking spirits or the spirit of a deceased family member? The photographs are from unsplash.

A storm that happens every year. A storm has passed, and it has wreaked havoc all over my country. It is still raging in some states today, flooding and leaving misery in its wake. My garden has not suffered too much but I have lost some cacti, succulents, and seedlings that I had just planted. Rainwater has come in everywhere, there are leaks in the roofs, walls, and floors, and there is water where there never was before. This storm was very strong here. There was lightning, thunder, and a very strong breeze that collapsed and destroyed many structures of various types of metal. Here in my region, the sky is very gray as if waiting for the tail end of the storm before it leaves. I am prepared with my garden uncovered but with the precautions ahead of me. I have not stopped making changes in my garden. I am taking advantage of the fact that it is not raining today to continue with the redistribution of my plants in the garden. This is a base to place my cacti and succulents. Next week I will make a similar one to place my ornamental plants. In the meantime, they will continue on some remodeled tables. By next week I will have my plants arranged in a better shape. I have read that the storm that is passing through does it every year around this time. It is like a farewell to the heavy rains to continue with the change of weather that prevails in my country. Always summer. I like the rain but when it happens in my favor, without leaving any damage anywhere, as nature is only responding to our lack of conscience, I cannot ask for more than what I give. After these times of storms due to climatic changes will come times of permanent and constant drought that leave no time for planting for small farmers unless they are self-sufficient in the precious liquid. These are some soda and liquid containers that I recycled to make them into planters and plant my hanging plants. I should have painted them before but I am behind in organizing the garden so I have placed them like this in their original color. All pictures are taken with my cell phone, the Redmi note 9. I hope that in your countries you have better weather than the one that now accompanies my fellow countrymen and me.

What do you think? Even in these times of God in which we have crossed so many borders, we continue to see, hear or intervene in issues that never seem to become clear. To be a murderer is to be a person who kills a human being. Murder can hide behind people with power. This title of the murderer should be stripped of the exception, that is, if you are a government person, if you are a president, if you kill any living human being you are not necessarily a murderer, why? The person who kills either to achieve peace, to achieve defense, or to achieve a personal goal should not be disqualified from this world, he has simply taken the life of a human being. The difference is whether he has taken a life to defend himself or to defend a country. In short, he has taken a life and killed, he is a justified murderer. Today, in most governments, murders are committed, or rather, human beings are deprived of their lives to prevent them from taking borders, taking captives, taking occupied territories, or taking our lives. Whenever I think of wars, of missiles being launched and killing many human beings as a necessary evil, I ask myself... Who gave them the power to be murderers of innocents just because they have power? I don't understand this being responsible for deaths and living with that, with a smile on my face and saying I'm doing fine. And these murders have happened through all generations. We read it in the bible but as a justified cause. We see it in countries all over the world as a just cause. We have been brought up with the idea of "thou shalt not kill" and yet there is a just cause. A president sends missiles and many will die there, enemies and those who are present and are not enemies, as collateral damage these deaths will also be justified. I could not live in peace with the title of power to murder, I love life. When I was a 7-year-old girl I killed a cat, because it was a nuisance at home and I threw it down a hole, and from there the kitten could not get out. I got out of my problem and no longer had a cat to bother me. Over the years I have always remembered that I put that cat in a hole, I never forgot it. I could no longer get it out after I put it in there. If taking the life of a kitten causes grief for life, I can't imagine taking the life of a person and feeling righteous so I don't carry the mentality of being a murderer. I will never learn to have another mentality. I like life, I love life, I respect life and I would not attempt against it if it is in my power not to end it. To what extent would I defend myself to save the life of a loved one or my own if I am in mortal danger? I don't know... these are questions I will never be able to answer until I can experience the situation firsthand. I have known people who have killed to save your life from other attempts on theirs and remain in constant doubt and suffering for what they did. They don't get over the death even if it was in self-defense. Will the same thing happen to the presidents of the great powers? I have always wondered, will they be in constant psychological treatment for those actions or do they just turn the page and accept that it is in defense of the country? Well, I don't want you to take my opinions the wrong way, it's simply my feeling. So far in my ignorance, there are many things I still don't understand. I don't want to disturb minds or cause opinions of hate or dislike. I want to share my thoughts and ideas with those who are willing to share them, either for or against but without creating discord.

Back with changes in the garden. Greetings friends all. I was not in jail nor on a spree as a jocular phrase from my country says, I am just updating my garden and putting up new structures for my plant nursery. I have bought many pots of different sizes and have placed them on the tables so that they can be seen more clearly. This means that my plants increase in value and although the increase is not much I always tend to be the victim of complaints from customers who always have to ask for discounts. I think that asking for discounts from small dealers is to take away the importance of the work that has been done. The customer is always right says another phrase in the popular slang of my country but I think you should value the work of people and if you like what you see pay for the right price. If you are not satisfied with the price you have the option to go shopping somewhere else without belittling the seller of the establishment. I am not used to asking for discounts anywhere. I don't know if it's out of respect for the seller or if it's because I'm not very good at pricing products. Anyway, I always think that when I have bought something that I like I am the one who has won with the purchase. For example, if I buy a plant I try to take one that has many branches or children around it. After acclimatizing it to my garden, which is usually within 15 days. Why this lapse of time?... because I believe that if the plant has been recently planted in this period of 15 days it can branch and root with more force. After the 15 days, I can take part of the children that are around it or small branches and proceed to replicate the plant according to the knowledge that I have acquired about it. In a short time, I have several plants that I have been able to reproduce from the mother plant I chose. So whenever I buy a plant I always think that I have made my best purchase and paid the right price. I love planting and propagating my plants. I recently planted my cucumber plants and they have continued their development very happily. They have formed their buds, their flowers have come out and they already have little cucumbers forming at the base of the flower. I don't know if any of you have been able to taste the flavor that you get from the fruits of plants that you have cared for and harvested from the beginning. And I say from the beginning because I prepare the compost that I put on my plants, the sprays that will scare away the pests. I prepare them with organic products such as neem, garlic, onion, and others. And at the end when I bring my products to the table I feel the pleasant taste of consuming what I have sown with so much love. For now, this is what I have brought you to demonstrate a little of what I have been doing these days. I will bring other eventualities. All the pictures are my property taken with my Redmi note phone.

Rain and macro photography Yesterday a storm came through my region, it was raining for several hours continuously, my plants in the garden are of course grateful for this blessed water from heaven and they have dawned very happily. I interpret their joy by the posture they take, by the color they show, and by the freshness that can be noticed because they are washed. What pleases me most about them are the drops that remain between the leaves. They are like small mirrors that shine from afar. Little sparkling diamonds. Today I wanted to take several pictures of my cacti and succulents with the remains of water that they have accumulated on their leaves after the rain. Macro photography is very special to me. Ever since I started writing and creating content on this platform before the fork of the platform I have had a special admiration for macro photography. It has allowed me to get a closer look at the tiny beauty in flowers, plants, leaves, and more. I am excited to see the color in the center of flowers, and the fall of a drop of water deposited on a flower or a leaf.  The beauty hidden behind the small details that without macro photography I would never have been able to see. Perhaps because of the habit of living in continuous movement and not stopping to see the beauty of nature in its minimum expression. If before I loved nature, with this type of photography I have learned to appreciate the objects and smaller forms. I wanted to bring all these drops of water deposited on my succulents so that you can also notice this beauty.  One more photograph of natural beauty is never too much.  The Graptopetalum always fills her upper leaves with raindrops, sometimes I think she will get damaged and rot her stems from so much water from the sky when storms occur, and she always amazes me because it is as if she collects all the water she can to beautify herself and then wait for the next time. The Sedum Morganianum doesn't have much of a place to deposit water droplets because its leaves are elongated but she still wanted to catch the raindrops too. The Kalanchoe Rotundifolia has also deposited the water drops on her tiny little green leaves. I hope you have relaxed your eyes with the beautiful water drops on my plants. All pictures are taken with my phoneRedmi note 9.

Trauma in my family At this point in my life, I no longer believe in coincidences. I believe in the things of God and that all energy has a connection with all other forms of energy. All matter is made up of atoms. Humans are many atoms of carbon 12, which is the second element with more weight in the organism apart from oxygen. All life has its formation with the carbon atom, which is essential for life. What I am getting at is that they are pure energy in constant movement and that they interact a lot in the universe. Having said that as a preamble to what is my topic today I want to address the fact that the whole universe is interacting around us and we don't realize it because these atoms interact and they do it while we are just taking care of the living. The energy communicates with each other and they either approve or disapprove of our life actions. This is how the creator has made it so that scientists can verify God's miracles. Recently my older sister, who lives in another state, fell to the ground twice from her height. She injured her knee and now has to wear a knee brace to immobilize her knee for a reasonable time until she regains mobility. She has fallen because she stepped wet on the floor and then for the second time she fell to the floor because she was pushed by her little dog excited to see her. She is doing much better now and she can walk without using the knee immobilizer for a long time. I recently suffered from the covid virus, I had to sleep in a semi-sitting position to try to breathe better and the extensor ligaments in my left knee became very stretched and I had difficulty walking for some time. I also wore a knee immobilizer that helped me keep my foot on the ground. My tendons still bother me, I no longer use the immobilizer but I have to watch my quick knee movements because I often hurt them. Yesterday one of my sister's friends called me to tell me that she fell in the night, probably when the power went out, I don't have the details of the fall yet. Only the photos and the first eventualities. What is certain is that my dear sister has injured her right knee, and now she must wear a knee immobilizer to be able to walk without pain by resting her foot on the floor. What amazes me is that we are three people, one after the other who are suffering from the same knee pain with the need to use a knee immobilizer to support the movement. Why do these situations happen so similarly in all three people? We are sisters, we are very close and dear to each other. We are going through similar situations and with common treatments to be able to continue doing our daily activities. This minimizes our movements but we continue to work and have material for conversation. We are now three older people talking about what it means to have a limitation in our daily chores. What amazes me the most is that I know that accidents happen all the time and that there is a high incidence of knee trauma in older people, but I did not know that this incidence also involves people from the same family environment. What do you think about these situations that occur at the same time in related people, relatives, friends, or neighbors? The images are my property.

Oddities in my life At this moment it is almost 2 a.m. in my country. I woke up suddenly without sleep. I looked at my cats outside, Copito is on top of my washing machine and as soon as he looked at me he woke up and immediately looked at me with his cute little old kitty face. He gives me a lot of tenderness because he is getting older and older and you can see the ravages of the years along with the traces of his street fights... he is still sleeping, my dear old man. Meme has woken up, it seems that he is always behind my bedroom door. He comes waking up and stands with half his body crossing the curtain that separates the kitchen from the back room of my house. He looks at me and stands there waiting for my next move. I go to empty my bladder and suddenly I feel like writing and I open my small laptop to write my ideas at this moment. One after another my thoughts crowd my brain and I decide what I will do in the day even though I had thought of it before. My ergonomic office chair has come off the back, today the young man who helps me with my housework will come to put glue on the back that has come off. Water has arrived in the pipes of the public drinking water service and we have water reserve tanks full for 5 days. I want to go buy some soil to plant my plants in some rubber that has been prepared for me to use as pots. The plants are already tall and I have them in pots but they need more space and that is why I will put them in rubber. I need to buy gardening materials like clay pots for my cactus and different soils to mix and add to my plants. I don't think I can do it today but I am going to put it on the agenda to see if on Monday I will go to the place where they sell all this stuff for the plants. I am very happy with my plants in the garden and I keep going every morning and afternoon to check on them to prevent anything from happening to them in my absence, like a grasshopper or a snail coming in and wanting to eat them. Because the most tender plants I have right now are the zucchini and cucumber plants that I showed you earlier and they are so exposed to the weather and the cats. We are fixing up the garden because soon we will make a cage for some small domestic birds that I want to buy. I won't tell you which birds they are until I get all the space fixed up where I plan to put them. I will also take pictures of them and show them to you another time when everything is ready. I think that in this coming week I should have the garden ready and arrange the place for my new birds. My dear readers, I think that by this time in the early hours of the morning it will be fine. And I will write to you later in the morning in the comments. It's already 2.30 am and I'd better get everything ready to go back to bed. It's a rare thing for me to wake up feeling like writing but there are always moments in life when these oddities happen to me. All photos are my own taken with my Redmi Note 9 phone.

The beach and the sea I love the beach and it is a pleasure to see the images that are captured through a camera to reflect the beauty of the sea. The blue sky conjugated with the green sea make it such a special sight to behold. Although nature itself is so beautiful in its many presentations, rain, snow, fog, jungle, plains, dunes, and other wonders I feel that the sea attracts me so much for its immensity. The sea is so calm in all its extension but when you are on the shore you can appreciate all the changes that are presented in its arrival. The sea is very changeable you can arrive and observe a calm sea relaxing in a moment by its harmonious waves and suddenly you can see how it changes and transforms into a strong swell that crashes from wave to wave and leaves a thunderous sound as if it were the collision of two objects so heavy physically. You can see the blue sea in a moment and then move to the sea that changes color, the crystal clear waters become denser in appearance. Everything depends on it, its soil can be sandy or with stones. The sandy soil in the sea can turn its waters from crystalline to turbid at any moment but it can also remain without changing its crystalline aspect. I marvel at all the changes in the sea with or without human intervention. It is always pleasant to stroll along its shores, admiring the evening, the morning, or the sunset. If you have spent a whole day at sea you will know what I mean by all this I am writing. These are my experiences in the presence of this marvel of divine creation. To all of you who have the pleasure of delighting in the sea at some time or another, you know that I am not exaggerating or lying. It is a natural spectacle that nature gives us to learn to love, enjoy and respect as any other work. And if you have not yet gone to enjoy the sea I invite you to enjoy it by looking at these images and thinking and imagining that you are in it with everything I have told you. All photographs are my property. I am @gertu13 from Venezuela to the world.

Today I went back to my sowing I am very happy because I transplanted my cucumber seedlings and was also the only zucchini plant that was born among so many seeds. Every day I was looking for them not to change their behavior to make sure that they are doing well and that is what happened. They have a good compost. And they are growing a lot. I pruned the fig plant and planted some branches but that did not work. It's been 15 days and still not a sprout. I think I should plant again. The cucumber plants need to be staked with stakes so that they will follow the cucumber and climb up until they get tangled in the place I chose for them. I am pleased even though I have many cucumber seedlings that I still can't find a place to put them. My extreme love for gardening was born in my mother. I remember in my childhood she and I would go to the backyard of our house and between the two of us, we would get carried away with transplanting plants. I was learning how to plant while she planted in me the little seed of love for plants. Over time I continued to learn and as I grew older I taught her new things about gardening. New plants, new ways of planting and transplanting. When I traveled across the country I always came home with different species of plants. My mother liked roses, carnations, and anthuriums. There were always these kinds of plants in our garden at home. After my mother's death, nobody took care of the plants at home, they were left to dry. I went to work in another town and those who remained at home were not planted, lovers. When I returned to my house or to the family home, I took up planting in the garden again until today. In my pots, there are lemon, cherry, pomegranate, and guanabana plants and the aromatic ones are not far behind. Flowers and colorful leaves are never lacking. It is exciting to plant and everything related to the care of plants. I advise you to do it now if you have not started to do it. Besides being relaxing, they give us a lot of life and health. This is my niece's new hobby. This is a very malleable plastic material with which she makes figures. She. She is very happy with what she invents there.

They came to visit My sister, her son, and granddaughter have come from far away to visit me. Of course, they have also come because they need to make a series of documents that they can only get in this city where they were born or in the capital of my country. So they have taken their suitcases and after long years of absence, they have returned. One of the places they wanted to visit was the beach. This cute 8-year-old girl had never seen the sea before and is doing it for the first time. There is no room for happiness on her face when she sees such immensity and beauty, as well as the soft whispering of the waves at this time of the morning and the warm breeze that accompanies them. The smell of salt and fresh fish flood the whole place and make it more pleasant for her. Seeing the sea is one of the amusements that my nephew has sought for his daughter to know the place where he was born and now decided to go to other places. It is very close to a shopping center called Plaza Mayor and he took her there in the afternoon so that she could get to know the surroundings of this tourist place in Anzoátegui. Then he went to a place very frequented by adults and children and ate the delicious fries and hamburgers that characterize the place. He took her to the bumper cars and other distractions. As you can see there are not many children enjoying this place. I think it's because of the day. Normally on Saturdays and Sundays when there are more visitors. I find it strange that even though it is vacation time there are not many people here. These are my nieces, cute as the children they are, enjoying the company of their fondly remembered grandmother. Enjoying a pose for a collection. Behind them, you can see the boardwalk where I used to go fishing with my nephews and friends. It was a very relaxing day for all of us in those places. Different from daily life. My niece will take a good memory of her life in this place and for sure she will miss it together with all the people and relatives that she has started to recognize in her presence and not through the internet.  The pictures are my property. Your space, your time How do we learn to be with other people if we don't learn to be with ourselves? This is something I ask myself today. I have learned to be with other people because I learned to respect my space, the space inside me. I have learned so much to be with me alone that I love to be like this. I meditate, I wonder, I take deep breaths and I give myself my answers. After spending time with myself I seek to share my ideas with others. I look for ways to be with other people and usually people who are known to me. Because in these times of my life I don't want to go out with people who don't interest me to talk or to share a relaxing time. I look for people who do not speak loudly to attract the attention of others or who always want to impose their ideas without respecting others. In no way do I mean that I only want to share with those people who are similar to me, in ways of thinking or being because it is boring when I speak and expose my ideas and the interlocutor approves everything saying that he thinks the same. No, not at all. When I go out of my space of accompanied solitude, I try to be with people who tell me what they feel, think, or like. After being with them for a while, I feel encouraged or recharged with new thoughts to return to my personal space and think about all the things I learned during my time in the company. Over time I learned to love my time in my company more than with the company of others. I learned that I like my solitude accompanied by myself. I tend to think and develop so many thoughts. Whether reading, listening, or living my life. I think many people like me, apart from being known as introverts, are people who like to be on their self. And not because of ego but because when we learn to appreciate our solitude we love it more than the constant company of others. What do you think? Do you like your own company better or does the company of others nourish you the same? Imagen is from unsplash. I am @gertu13 from Venezuela to the world.

Do you want to live in peace or agony? On some other occasions, I have written about this same subject. Today I bring it up because I read a gentleman who practices an ancient discipline in his country and he commented on what I had tried to say at the time I wrote. He, like me, assures us that we cannot be affected by the things that are said to us if we do not allow it. That is, if some person threatens me with a rude thing then I must control myself to such an extent that I must not show or feel in any way that what they have said has affected me. We can complain if we prick a finger if we cut ourselves with a sharp object because we inevitably feel pain for that physical injury caused to our organism. If, on the other hand, it is not a physical injury but a bad word or a gesture of a person, we have two options. The first is to feel offended and return the bad word or gesture to the person who inflicted it. Or we avoid feeling bad about what we have heard or seen and simply turn away without that moment having meant anything important in our life. When we are very sensitive people, everything that happens around us affects us. At the end of the day, we end up being very unhappy people because people have achieved what they wanted. That we would be disturbed to such an extent that we would have a bad day. It is not that day only because there will come another and another day. Because our personality is to accept the words and actions of others as an offense. It is not easy to avoid getting upset, it is all a matter of practice. They say that practice makes perfect. When we begin to laugh at the bad acts of others towards us we will begin to have a better and healthier life. Preparing ourselves to not feel anger or the need to return an offense is hard for those of us who have become accustomed to not staying down. It has been hard for me, but I continue to practice every day to avoid feeling bad about the mistreatment of others. When that happens I just think about taking a deep breath and letting the moment pass. Let the moment pass to respond and tell me that it's not worth responding and I better go on my way. After a while, I feel good about myself because I didn't give that person the pleasure of me absorbing their venom and I continue on my way feeling peace and tranquility. Let me know how long it has taken you to master this feeling of allowing others to bother you when they want you to. Or if on the contrary you still don't practice deep breathing and let it go until you get used to it and nothing affects you... Image is from unsplash. I am @gertu13 from Venezuela to the world.

Eating healthy There is a question that always comes to my mind and it is the following... Why if we know that we should eat appropriate products because it makes us healthy people we continue to eat what hurts us? The human being is a complex being both in thought and action. We know many things that we learn in our daily life because we are skilled spectators of knowledge. Our mind takes in information that we think will be useful to us. In spite of all the information, we have about eating vegetables, green juices, and lean meats we continue to eat what is in some way harmful to our bodies. I have spent my whole life on a diet. Since I was little I remember it because I have a genetic tendency to get fat. My parents were obese and I was born with more than 5 kg. Can you imagine? My mother gave birth to me naturally. That's how since my childhood I decided to go on diets. One after the other and always bouncing back. Since I did not correct my mind but my appetite and then after the restrictions I went back to eating the same as before. Today at 60 years of age I am still obese but I do not have a diet. I am reading and following some medical colleagues who write about how to eat better. That is what I am currently practicing. Flours and sweets are some of the biggest offenders to my body. I like to eat carbohydrates in the form of rice, pasta, and flour and sweets are my favorites. These are all transformed in my organism into sugar that then goes directly to be deposited in my organs in the form of fat. I like to eat sweets, cakes, gelatins, pasta in different forms, rice combined with vegetables, and meat and fish. I abuse the way I eat them because I like abundance, feeling that I ate enough to not be hungry for a few hours. Life is not about just eating everything that provokes us. I could not change my mind no matter how hard I tried. Now I am adopting another way of life. I started drinking green juices on an empty stomach. These do not replace a meal but they give you enough nutrients to start bringing a little more vitality to the body. These juices have a lot of magnesium, potassium, iron, vitamins, antioxidants, and other elements enough to regenerate dead, damaged cells and give restored cellular life. It has been written that they help prevent cancer as well as eradicate diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, and many other diseases of the human body. Fasting green juices consist of taking a juice extractor and adding small portions of green vegetables to extract the juice and ingesting them immediately. Every day I drink a little celery Spain, spinach, prickly pear, cucumber, and a little ginger and lemon. This is a refreshing drink that makes me feel good in the morning. Then I have my coffee and later my breakfast. I try to eliminate refined sugars and flour as much as I can. For the rest of the day, I drink other juices that are not green but vegetable juices like carrot juice with beet and lemon. And other natural vegetable juices. It is not advisable to drink fruit juices because all the fructose is extracted from the fruit which is immediately transformed into sugar in the liver and becomes part of the problem. Fruits should be eaten raw not in juices because their process in the body is different. I have always said that our bodies are intelligent but we ourselves as independent beings spoil everything. I have decided to learn to eat better. Not to combine carbohydrates with salads and with meats. You have to combine meats with salads and not add carbs to your food if you plan on losing weight. I have started again to try to improve the way I eat every day and not only when I am on a diet. I hope that my mind and my habitual way of eating poorly will not make me get out of my new habits again. I especially like to drink my green juices, I do it whenever I can and I feel very strong and in better health, since I do it. For those who want to avoid degenerative diseases, it is very good to drink green vegetable juices not to lose weight but to fill our body with rejuvenating and revitalizing life. I invite you to do it. I am @gertu13 from Venezuela to the world.
