Caring for Lettuce Plants In order for plants to grow and develop, you do have to do regular maintenance. Don't forget to check the soil, fertilizer, plants, and water, everything must be in good condition. 7. Watering Plants Regularly Plants need an adequate supply of water, you can water them regularly in the morning and afternoon. If it rains, you should reduce the frequency of watering, but try to keep the soil moist. 8. Uprooting Weeds Don't forget to remove any weeds that may be growing around the lettuce, these plants are definitely annoying. 9. Checking the Drainage System The area around the lettuce plants must be considered so that there is no standing water on the lettuce plants. 10. Harvesting Crops After reaching the end of 40-60 days after the lettuce seeds are sown, the plants are ready to be harvested, when pulling the plants do it slowly.
