Why I Believe Sovryn SOV Is No Longer an Investment Opportunity At this point, I do not believe the Sovryn treasury issue will ever be properly resolved. My concern is that any fees generated by the protocol will continue flowing to the same people who have controlled the project for years. They may claim those funds are being used for protocol development and operational expenses, but the lack of transparency makes it difficult for investors to verify where the money is actually going. In my opinion, if a project cannot provide a detailed accounting of treasury spending down to the last penny, investors should assume there is a serious transparency problem. When budgets are vague and spending reports lack detail, trust begins to disappear. Because of these concerns, I now believe my previous prediction of SOV falling to $0.01 may have been overly optimistic. It would not surprise me to see the price fall below $0.001. Furthermore, I do not believe even $0.001 would necessarily represent a good entry point for investors. The project is still dealing with unresolved questions regarding treasury management, declining confidence, and uncertainty about its long-term future. Another concern is the sustainability of the project itself. If development resources continue to shrink, there is always the possibility that critical infrastructure could suffer. In an extreme scenario, even the project's website and services could become difficult to maintain. Security is another issue that cannot be ignored. If a protocol lacks sufficient funding, vulnerabilities may go undiscovered or unresolved because there are not enough resources available for audits and bug bounty programs. Investors should always consider these risks when evaluating any DeFi project. I would also encourage liquidity providers to carefully review and understand the risks associated with liquidity pool contracts. History has shown that when projects fail, security incidents are sometimes blamed for losses, whether those incidents result from external attackers or internal failures. To be clear, some of these concerns involve speculation on my part. However, based on the issues I have observed, I have decided that I will not be investing in Sovryn regardless of how low the price goes. Instead, I will focus on the areas that interested me before I returned to follow Sovryn again. My attention will be directed toward Bitcoin Cash CashTokens, BCH-based DeFi projects, and Pi Network. As far as Sovryn SOV is concerned, I consider it out of the question for my investment strategy.
