Freedom to Commit Crime

Everyone has the freedom to commit crimes.

After all, legislators cannot plant a policeman for every individual. They simply pass the law through the parliament they belong to, publish it in the official gazette (present it to the public), and leave the people to their choices.

We have the freedom to commit crimes, provided we bear the consequences. Although some of us are stingy in using this right to the fullest, some of us do not hesitate to commit different crimes, taking into account the consequences of this right.

For people who have committed tens, maybe thousands, of crimes in a long journey of life, this situation has become ordinary and almost a long part of their lives has been spent in isolation. Their records were contaminated and ostracized by societies.

Every crime has a penalty and every penalty has a price, the people who commit the crime have to pay this penalty and pay the price.

Why do people commit crimes?

They may commit crimes because of an unfair order. Justice is a necessary scale for all and must have an equal weighing power. Injustice that can develop in justice can cause people to commit crimes.

Just like injustice in justice, justice delayed is not considered justice, and it can also encourage its victims to commit crimes. The functioning and impartiality of justice is important. When the trust in justice disappears, the crime rates increase.

Political amnesty or reduction in the sentences given by the justice is also one of the factors that undermine the trust in justice.

If there is a crime committed against me, I should forgive it or not, instead of the politicians. Ultimately, the decision maker should be the party where the crime was committed. Penalties abolished due to different effects, reasons and opinions also shake the sense of justice in societies.

As we said at the beginning, everyone has the freedom to commit a crime and has to face the consequences.

Why don't people commit crimes?

Punishment, which is the equivalent of the crime committed, has a deterrent effect on committing a crime. Losing or suspending one's freedom is one of the measures to prevent crime.

Beliefs and their influence on us are one of the preventative reasons for committing crimes. The "hell" penalty that can be applied depending on the crime committed can be frightening. The fact that divine justice cannot be avoided and that Allah sees everything appears as a punishment that will be imposed sooner or later.

Moreover, while the justice in the countries we live in can be shaken and may not work equally for everyone, there is a guarantee that divine justice will work equally for everyone.

Another factor in not committing a crime is our conscience formed by our moral values. The judgment of conscience and the pressure it creates can be more severe than the most severe punishment that can be taken. Crimes judged in the court of conscience become more severe as time goes by.

The pressure exerted by societies, especially against shameful crimes, fuels the feeling of shame in those who commit crimes and causes them to think more about committing crimes.

The gravity of the crime committed directly affects the life of the person who committed the crime and the person who committed the crime, and can also change their way of life.

When it comes to cybercrime, most of the values ​​we mentioned about committing crimes are suspended. The fact that the punishments are not enough deterrent, overcoming the social pressure, and the weakness of the beliefs are effective in this.

When we encounter a device with an internet connection, the power of anonymity we have creates the idea that the crime committed will go unpunished, and this idea may be governing us. It is difficult to predict what the person who is inclined to commit the crime will do when he overcomes the barrier of conscience.

The increasing cases of online fraud can be one of the best examples that can be given recently. The sense of freedom to commit a crime, coupled with the possibility of impunity for the crime, increases its appeal. As time passes, more and more people fall into this temptation and put both themselves and others in a difficult situation.

It is a fact that each of us has the freedom to commit crimes. But it is also a part of that fact that the committed crime will not go unpunished in some way.

The truth has the side-effect of coming out sooner or later. At the end of every darkness is light. When it is light, the traces left behind can be followed. Justice, society or God will definitely bill the person who commits the crime.

A clear conscience is the softest pillow. Once it starts to stain, it is a difficult and costly process to clean, and it is sleepless nights.
