The Successful First Day of Our Santa Cruzan Hello Everyone!!! ***May 02, 2022*** Sorry for the late update. Yesterday was the first day of the Santa Cruzan. Yesterday morning, every officers and members of Santa Cruzan are all busy. We had different assignments. Our Vice President was the one whose in-charge to get the torch for the kids. Our President is the one who assigned us our own task. We did all of this to my cousins home which is she is our youth secretary. Everything that we need to complete our task regarding with the budget about the expenses and other related to money it's should be wrote by her. So that later on once all the people who are in our neighborhood asked were did the savings of the Santa Cruzan went, we had those list to be showed to them. While we are doing this, lot's of kids are helping us too. They are so excited. Some of them said to us that later he or she will be the one who will hold the star, the cross and the crucifix. We just told them that later you will know what are the process so that you can hold it. We officers and members decided to have a raffle of names everyday for those who wanted to hold the said stars,cross and crucifix. For it to be fair, and all the kids can hold it until the end of this month. It was approved by our Youth Santa Cruzan Adviser. So yesterday night, I was not around. I have a duty, so my co-officers are the one who handle it. It was my first time that I wasn't around during the first day of Santa Cruzan. It's so sad but I don't have a choice. My co-worker is pregnant and it is not good that her duty was at night, so I give her a favor. Anyway my boyfriend told me that the Santa Cruzan last night was successful. And I'm proud and happy for it. As you saw the kids they are all wearing a smile on there face as they attended the procession. Some of them are first timers, yet they manage on how this Santa Cruzan all about. I didn't witness it, but the way my boyfriend tells me, I feel that kids was really happy. DENOUEMENT: The purpose of this Santa Cruzan or Flores de Mayo is to honor the sacrifice of our Queen for us. And mother Mary was so happy everytime we celebrated it. It's for the kids actually, but as I heard the priest last sunday, Flores de Mayo is not only for the kids, but to all of us. Preparing For "Santa Cruzan 2022" Hello Everyone!!! ***April 29, 2022*** Early this morning I went to my cousin's home. I brought "Buko Pandan". I've made it last night. There's no occasion, I just wanted to make it because I'm craving for it. **[SOURCE OF IMAGE:](**https://www.lutongbahayrecipe.com/desserts/buko-pandan/) And then I saw the member's of our **"Santa Cruzan"** they are so busy cleaning some brushes that is being used to paint. And I asked my cousin. What do they paint? Last-last night I helped repairing our Cross that is being used in a procession. Before pandemic came every year we used to have different designs on the front of the cross. But mostly the design of it was a flower made of "**papel de hapon" or "Creep Paper"** . Last Monday the priest called every president of the youth in each Barangay who are the member of the said Santa Cruzan Panel. The priest who will handle the said Santa Cruzan now is new. So lot's of things and rules has change. As what our Youth President said, we need to prepare quickly because we had only short period of time to prepare. So we did the teamwork. Kids are so excited. They are all happy hearing that there will be Santa Cruzan this year. As you knew it's been 2 years had passed that there's no Santa Cruzan. So they can't help it but to be happy and excite. Our Cross is already done. And the repainting of the chapel is also done earlier. So maybe tomorrow we can already put some curtains and other display such as flowers, candles, rosary and etc. on the altar. We will also assigned to the members who will be responsible in everyday rosary. We will be talk it all tomorrow. DENOUEMENT: Santa Cruzan is part of my life. I love it when I was a child. It really gives me a good memories and experience. At a young age I learned to pray. Now with this new generation were hoping that kids can experience and learned too on what we learned when we are a child. Because as what I saw now, some kids didn't know how to pray. They are only busy watching Television and using gadgets like cellphones and laptop. So our goal now as one of the officer of our youth Santa Cruzan Organization we will help kids or children's know how to pray and reduced them by using those gadgets. The Feast of Divine Mercy Hello Everyone!!! ***April 25, 2022*** Yesterday early morning my boyfriend and I went to church. It's Sunday and we took the second mass which is 6:30.AM. The mass lead by Bishop of Naval. I don't have any idea why the one who lead the mass was a Bishop. As I've known if the Bishop lead a mass it's not a regular sunday. So it means there's a celebration. And I was right it was the **"Feast of the Divine Mercy".** The said Bishop introduced himself. He was really came from our town. And he told us that since he was ordained as a Father and Bishop he never got the chance to served in his own town. And yesterday was the first. So it was so very special to him. The homily was so long and we enjoyed listening to it. He is so cool. We gonna make a **"Nilagang Baboy"** and we head back home. My boyfriend is the one who cooked it. And while waiting for it to be cooked, I rest myself while watching television. After our breakfast I rest for a while before I continue the laundry. And my boyfriend is the one who wash the dishes. And then after 30 minutes I continue the laundry and this time my boyfriend helped me doing it. Were done so early. So I'm the one who prepared our lunch. I almost done preparing it an hour before 11:30AM. I still have time to rest and have a lunch. At exactly 1PM , I'm ready to go to work. DENOUEMENT: I am so glad and thankful to attend such a holy celebration. I can't go to mass every week, only if I had time and if I don't have a duty. So I am so happy that yesterday a Bishop was the one who conduct the mass. And as earlier I am also grateful that I did the laundry even it was so tiring. What Happened on My Boyfriend's Interview Day? Hello Everyone!!! ***April 21, 2022*** Last Monday was the schedule of the interview of my boyfriend. Supposedly his interview was last week but because of the Typhoon Agathon it's reschedule to last Monday. And so last monday we woke up so early. Yes we because I will accompany him to the said place which is in Division Office of Leyte. He should be on the said place before 8 in the morning. It's better to be early than the interviewee. We should take first our breakfast because we don't know how long the interview was. And as I remember it will be a oral interview and a written examination. After our breakfast we took showers and then went to the terminal. We leave here at the terminal of the bus at exactly 6:45. And the travel from here to the Division is almost 1 hour. So we arrived there at 7:30 I think. Then we asked to the guard if were the interview could be held. And the guard responded. I was left to the waiting area while my boyfriend go to the interview room. I wait for almost 2 hours. And then his done. And he told me that they will be back at 1 in the afternoon for the written examination. So since we still have time we went to the Robinson's Mall and at the same time there we will took our lunch. We ordered the same set. And I order Halo-Halo. I love halo-halo in Mang Inasal because it's so creamy and yummy. We enjoy our lunch. After our lunch we held back to the Division Office. We should be there before 1PM. And we arrived there at exactly 12:45PM he go directly to the examination room. And I was left again to the waiting area. And after 30 minutes his already done. I asked him if how's his exam and he said it's just so easy. And maybe his telling the truth because it's only consumed 30 minutes. Then we leave right away we went to downtown Tacloban. I need to go to Novo Store to find a polo shirt for my uniform. But were not lucky because as we arrived there I found out that there's no more stock. And so we decided to go home. Were so tired already. So we went to the Terminal and have a safe trip way back home. DENOUEMENT: It's a super tiring day but it's all worth it and we claimed it. How My Easter Sunday 2022 Went Hello Everyone!!! Happy easter everyone! How's your easter by the way? Well mine it seems just a normal day. Before pandemic when it comes to Easter Sunday people are busy cooking on there household. And the number one viand in this season is what we called ***"Lauya"*** or in english it's a pork soup if I wasn't mistaken. And aside from it we are also busy preparing the things were going to brought to the beach. Yeah you read it right, during easter sunday most of us here in our place are go on swimming. But now everything has change. Before we proceed I would like to say thank you to my generous and kind sponsors for the sponsorship always. God bless you more and take care always. So early this morning we woke up early because we went to attend a Easter Mass. The mass that were into is on second mass. It start at 6:30AM. We brought candles because at the page of the Holy Cross Parish it was written there that we need to bring candle and so I bought 4 pieces of candles. The mass go smoothly until it's done. And before we left we got the chance to took a photo on the blessed image of Christ. And after that we went back home and prepare some of my things because we will went to my future husband's place. And as we arrived there we ate our breakfast first. And his sister and sister in law are busy preparing there selves because they will also attend the said mass. So the one who left in there house was his mother and father and the two of us. After we ate our breakfast I asked his mother if I can already fry the chicken and she said yes. So I start frying the said chicken. While my future husband is also busy cooking the Lauya. Both of us are busy in the kitchen. A minutes later the mass are already done and his sister and sister in-law came home. And I almost done frying the chicken. Right after I finish cooking his mother prepare the table for us to take our lunch. And before that his sister took pictures first before anything else as a remembrance for this year Easter Sunday. On the other hand I really wanted to go swimming, but I can't because I still have a duty. My duty start at 1PM. So after I ate and drink a little of coconut wine, my future husband and I decided to go home already so that I still have time to prepare myself to go to work. Aftermath of the Typhoon Agathon in Leyte Hello Everyone!!! Last-last night as I went home, the rain was so heavy. I 'm glad that my future husband is with me. He always fetch me at my work all the time and I am so thankful to him for that. Anyway that's not what our topic today. It's still about the Typhoon Agathon. As you know this was the First Typhoon this year who hit Philippines. It's not that so big and strong but it leave so much damage. Specifically on my Province which is Leyte. Last-last day I talk about it already. One of the City that was so affected by it was Baybay City Leyte and Abuyog Leyte. As you saw on the NEWS the entire Barangay were the landslide was is somewhat like it disappear on the map. And the aftermath of it is so tragic. There still who are missing and till now the rescuers are searching for them. Typhoon "Agathon" devastate some part of Leyte Hello Everyone!!! ***April 12, 2022*** Since last week rain didn't stop, until Tropical Depression **"Agathon"** came. Some part of Leyte is now in state of calamity because of the typhoon. The said typhoon land first in Guiuan Eastern Samar. It's movement is so slow that really affect all of us. Yesterday were on the signal number 1. And it's so sad to hear in the news that one barangay in Baybay City Leyte had a landslide and lot's of people are on it. Aside from landslide the water level is so high in different areas of Leyte because of the continues rainfall. Were still glad that were not suffering like that here in our place. It's really sad. But all we can do is to help us pray for them. And before I continue I wanted to say thank you to my dear sponsors and readers for always passing by and supporting my article. My First time to attend a Grand Rally Hello Everyone!!! It's been four days already since my last visit here. I don't know what to share here. I can't think better now because of the problem that I am going through right now. and instead of thinking this problem I rather make myself keep busy on something that helps me enjoy life. And before I start let me say thank you first to all of my sponsors for all the help and support that they give to me. Not only them but also to all the readers that passed by to read every articles that I am posted. Again thank you very much . So yesterday my boyfriend and I attended the **"Grand Rally"** it's my first time to attend this kind of event. This rally is all about this coming election here in the Philippines. We support the next president that we wanted to lead our country. And last week the organizers of the said event are all busy preparing for that day which is yesterday. It was held in Leyte Sports complex Grand stand Tacloban city. Different towns in Leyte have different strategies on how to hold this event. And for the town of my love of my life there I was listed. The organizer of the said team was so good. We are divided into 9 stations and we are from station 3. And in every station there is also a leader. He really organized as well from the very start. To the bus, foods and as to the place were it is held. As we arrived and set to our designated place lots of people are already there. And there still more coming until the whole ground are almost full. It was my first time to attend it and it was also my first to see this lots of people in an event. As what the organizers of the whole event make the live shows in facebook which reach the views to 1 million, said that those people who attend the said rally is almost 200 thousands plus. Wow it's so shocking. The people who support there next president never mind the bad weather because yesterday were on tropical cyclone number 1. But still they enjoy and wait the said candidate. DENOUEMENT: We have different choice and I respect your choice so respect also as what who I choose. But there are some people who can't accept this. They bashed each other supporters. So I hope and pray that this attitude of them will cut. Instead they respect each other and help each other to understand why they choose different person who they wanted to lead on our country. Should I Give Up? Hello Everyone!!! ***April 06, 2022*** Last-last week I've shared here about the land that I am walking to fixed some things about it. And I told here that I will be going on Department of Environment and Natural Resources to asked about it. And so yesterday morning we went to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to meet and asked the Geodetic Engineer who surveyed the said land on the whole area were our land is based. But sad to say we didn't got the chance to talk to him because he's not around. The personnel there told us that the Engineer was in the field so there's not even a single chance that he will come to there office. But before we live the personnel asked us what we are concerned for. And then we told him what was it all about. And after that he explain to us what could be the possible solution about it. And give us an advice on what action would we need to do about this matter. One of his advised is to talk to the person who sold the land. Because the issue that we are pushing through is that, the land that we are owned was not located or can't be found in the blue print. But based on that advised of the personnel we got another problem because the person who sales the land is already dead, both of them except their children. And now to who are we going to ask, because I already know that this children couldn't answer our question because they don't know about this. A Back to Back Birthday Celebration Hello Everyone!!! I'm sorry for not being around this past few days. The two days that I've been away it's because of a birthday celebration. And the rest of the days since it's been 4 days that I've been away I'm busy with our ( my boyfriend) business. I've already told what business that keep me busy this past few days. Now I will share with you what happened on the celebration day. **March 27, 2022** It's my cousin's 27th birthday and her sister give her a little surprised party. A week before the said birthday, we ordered already a "bento cake" with a harry potter theme because it's his favorite. And as day's is approaching we act like there's no party at all. And I nag my cousin and annoyed him on what his plan on his birthday and all he response to me is that there'e no party at all because he doesn't have a budget. I have a duty and I'm glad I'm on a morning duty. I went home at 1PM and I bought cassava cake as my present. After I changed my uniform I went to my cousins home. His mother is not yet done cooking. So I help my cousin so that it will finished quickly. And right after we done we set the table and the foods on it. And then we took photos and then we blessed the food and start to eat. The surprised party went well. The celebrant was so happy. **March 28, 2022** Another birthday party. It's my boyfriend's father's 72nd birthday. A day before the said celebration my boyfriend went home. His sister asked him to come home because she asked my boyfriend to accompany her in a restaurant were they ordered food to be served on the said day. They ordered a lot. They thought this instead of cooking to less hassle. And on the said day we woke up early and buy a pig head in the market. We decided to bought this and let it roast as our present to his father. We can't afford to buy a whole pig that's why we decided to buy a pig head instead. The party went well also. His father was so happy. We sang a birthday song for him as his sister and brother finished setting up the foods that they ordered on the table. And then the most awaited part in every occasions or celebration it's eating time. And after eating we drink beer. And I just only got 2 bottle of beer since I didn't feel to drink that day because I drink a lot on my cousins birthday. We went back home at around 7 in the evening. My boyfriend and I are both tired. We didn't ate dinner that night because were still full. What we need is to rest. DENOUEMENT: It's a back to back birthday celebration. Praying that My Errands Tomorrow Regarding for Our Land Will be Successful so Help me God Hello Everyone!!! ***March 27, 2022*** Are you all good my dear read.cash readers? I know you are. Don't be so stressed in everything that comes into your life. Just let it pass. Smile and be more positive because in that way we can defeat whatever problems we are suffering at the moment. I always pray for your safety and good health . Even by this I can give back the generosity and kindness that you gave to me. Today is the 27th Birthday of my cousin on my mother side. We plan on surprising him with his sister. He didn't know at all that his sister is preparing a simple celebration for him. He thought only as a normal or usual day. We hope that this little surprise will make him so memorable and happy on this day. It's just a small brief but that's not what I want to share. I have here a situation that I badly need your advice. And I hope some of you here can give me the best solution about it. I will so very much appreciate it and so thankful. **So here's the situation:** We had this land not still actually our's because we don't have yet the land title which is what I am working now. This land was a rent to own process. We finished this and we do have a **"deed of sale"** . Now since we have deed of sale the next process was to get a land title in order for it to be legally what you called your own. But there's a problem. One of our neighbors renovate there house and they need to process a land title first to get a building permit. And as they are processing it and got the whole map since it's not yet sub divided of the said land we are not on the said map. So how come the owner of this land sold this little part if it's not on the map. Actually were on the side of the river. And other's told my parents that it's a government area already. And the owner of the land who sold it, insist that there's still a part of him that it's there land. It's a 15 square meters. So we bought it and get a deed of sale. I thought before that there would never be a problem of getting a land title since we do have a deed of sale, but I am wrong. That's what I am working now. For it to be fixed. It's our ancestral home was located. And my parent's work on it so hard in order to pay for it before they died. So I will not turn those things into waste. Blessed, Grateful and Thankful for our Little Business Hello Everyone!!! ***March 23, 2022*** Hi again readers of read.cash, hope your all in good day. This time I will share the outcome of our little business. So far for five days were now on profiting. Everytime our business was sold I compute it on how much we've earned for this day, and then we less our overall expenses for that and I will total it all. What do you think an Earthquake means? Hello Everyone!!! ***March 21, 2022*** Good day my dear read.cash family? How's your morning? Well mine not that good. As I travel early this morning to my work the rain was so heavy. Honestly I don't want to go to work already. But I need to since it's my responsibility as an employee. So I get up and prepare myself to work. But before that, in the middle of the night we woke up because of the strong earthquake. The epicenter of the said earthquake was in Burauen Leyte. And it's density is 5.0. **What do you think this earthquake means?** As I remember when I was a teenager I heard this to my mom, that ***"If there's an earthquake the next to it was a Typhoon".*** I don't know if you heard it too but I think this thing is a bit true. Oh by the way before I forgot, I want to share some experience one of my cousins who traumatized about this earthquake. As you remembered last ***October 15, 2012*** there's this earthquake that we talk about here in the Philippines, particularly in the land of **Bohol.** My mother's family is in Bohol because that was were my mother born. My cousin named Ava was just in elementary that time. She's in 4th grade I think. She was in shock right after that happened. So after 5 months she went here in our place. She's already fine and we thought she really is. But were wrong. There's this time that there's an earthquake. The density is just 1 or 2 something like that. But this cousin of mine run so quickly and hide under our table. Were shock on what she did. We talk to here and let her calm. And as she was already calm we asked her why did she do that? She told us that she remembered 5 months ago on what happened to them that day. DENOUEMENT: It's not so easy to overcome this kind of shocked. Starting My Little Halo-Halo Business Hello Everyone!!! ***March 19, 2022*** Last week my boyfriend and I plan to sale a Barbecue but it turns out to be a "Halo-Halo" Business. It's so perfect to do it this time because summer season here in the Philippines are already started. And while he is there I prepared the ingredients and put it on the table which is already outside. And after 30 minutes he arrived and were already set. Were now waiting for the customers. Fighting For What is Ours Hello Everyone!!! ***March 17, 2022*** Earlier this morning, my boyfriend and I walk for an important matter. It is regarding on our land were our home was located. I've already shared here on my previous post that the land were our home was is finally ours. But I'm wrong, something bad might happened about it. She is now renovating her home, so she gets the over whole land to an Engineer geodetic who survey the said land. And she get this map. As she saw the map, our lot number was not there. How come that it wasn't there yet we had a "Deed of Sale". We paid for it and every year we pay for the tax. So that neighborhood of us suggest or advice us to take a look of it so that were all be aware on what is happening. If it's the case that we are not there, why the owner of the said land, sold it to us. I don't know what to do. I should walk for it. It's ours so I need to fight for it, whatever happened. So earlier this morning, I went to the surveyor who survey it before the previous owner sold it to us. I will asked what happened and how come were already not there on the other surveyor. So went to there house. And sad to say the surveyor wasn't around. The one we talk was his daughter. His daughter give us the calling card of his father and told us to set an appointment so that we can talk about it. And then I called the surveyor. Gladly his available tomorrow morning. My Father's 40th Days Death Hello Everyone!!! ***March 15, 2022*** How's your day while I'm away? I hope you have a great and fine day for those days. To tell you honestly, I've been away this past few days because I'm busy with my father's 40th days death last March 13, 2022. I don't know were I am going to find the fund that I will be used that day. Goods nowadays are all up. I've save some amount from my salary but I'm sure it doesn't enough. I am going crazy for those days before the said date. But I need to be strong and relaxed so that I can think of better solutions of my problem. I don't want to asked help anymore to my Aunt, my mother's older sister because I'm so shy. Not because of my personal feeling but because she helps us a lot since then. But my sister insisted to asked, we don't have anyone anymore that can really helped us. But I really didn't want to do it. So instead of me, my sister is the one who message our Aunt. Luckily she said yes. But it's not still enough. I'm so worried that lot's of people will come together with my father's brother's,nephew's, cousin's and even friends and what we prepared will not so enough to served to them. So I really badly still need some amount. So on the next day, since I don't have anyone to asked for, I'm forced myself to pawn my pawnable necklace in a pawnshop. So far it really helps us a lot to insure that whoever came will be satisfied on what we prepared. And on the said day, my cousin on my mother's side came. She's the one who helped us in anyway physically. She is also the one who cooked some foods that were going to served on that day. At that afternoon after my work, I went home, I took my lunch and then she came. We went to the market to bought some ingredients like meat, vegetables, condiments and anything that we are going to put on the said menu's. And after that we went home. That afternoon until night my cousin is so busy on the kitchen. She prepared anything for the recipe that she will going to cooked on the said day. And she did it at there home. And on the other part I also did prepare the recipe that were going to cooked on that day. Yes you read it right, we divided the menu. I cooked 2 recipes and my cousin's cooked 4 recipes. ***March 13, 2022*** It's the day. First thing in the morning my boyfriend and I went to the market to bought some of the ingredients that we haven't bought. It's because if we bought it that day it will be ruined on the next day. After we went to the market, we quickly get home to start cooking. We need to finished it before the prayer start. The one who lead the prayer told me that they will start at 10:30 so that before 12NN or exactly 12NN there already done. The said prayer is so long so they should start on what time they decided to start. Before the prayer start were all done. So I just sat there while waiting the people who will do the prayer. And while were on the middle of waiting the wife of my father's younger brother came. Aunt brought a *suman latik*, *moron* and *suman. I*And a minute later the lead prayer came and start the said prayer right away. It last at around 11:45AM and some of the relatives, brothers and nephews and even cousins of my father didn't came. I still wait unti 1 in the afternoon. And here comes one of my father's cousin. I don't know why some of them didn't came. I'm so upset. I know my father is waiting for them to come too before he left in this human world. I am so sad that even for the last time they didn't come. I know it's not good to put hatred on my heart to them but I can't helped it. I don't know what to do if one day we meet. Should I say hello? or just ignore them just what they did to my father. If my father is only here I know he will just say to me that, just let it pass. That's how kind my father was. To make this day end, it's end well. We deliver our father to the hands of our creator. We talk to him by heart that he doesn't have to worry us and he should go without hesitations and with a clean heart as he enter the kingdom of the Lord. Were you Annoyed if Someone You asked don't respond you right Away? Hello Everyone!!! ***March 10, 2022*** How's your day? Is it fine? Well, mine not so. Because my boyfriend and sister pissed me off. I don't know why they loved me pissing me off. Maybe because when I'm pissed off, I'm really angry and they find it funny. But that's not what our topic for today. But it's somewhat related to it. But before that I wanted to say thank you first to my dear sponsors for the support. It's not that I don't believed the powers of women's, but in this case I don't think she can rule the country. We women's are good in some aspects that no one can beat it. Who Taught me to Cook? Hello Everyone!!! ***March 07, 2022*** I'm sorry I'm not present yesterday I'm so busy cooking. Yes you read it right cooking. I'm not a chief but I loved to cooked. This is one of my hobby already since my mother died. And you would asked me who taught me to cook if my mother's wasn't around already. Well the great chief of my life and who taught me to cook was no other than my Father. Both my Mother and Father are very great in cooking in there own way. I always wanted my mom to teach me how to cooked but as I graduate in college I left my province and went to my Aunt province to seek a job there. Start of Nine days Prayer of my Father's 40 days Death Hello everyone!!! ***March 05, 2022*** Today is the start of the nine days prayer of my father's 40 days death. And I prepared a snack for them. I decided to cooked a "Ginataang Bilo-Bilo". They told my sister that they have another schedule first before us. So if they finished there they will go directly here in our home. A Successful Appointment Hello Everyone!!! ***March 04,2022*** Last-last day I've told here that I have an appointment to be done yesterday. So earlier yesterday my future husband and I went to Tacloban City. It's almost sunshine when we left at our home. My sister do an alarm on her phone but sad to say instead of morning alarm she mistakenly input it to afternoon. That's why we woke up at around 6 in the morning already because we didn't here any alarm tone. **[SOURCE OF IMAGE:](**https://mosers.org/news/schedule-your-appointment) Anyway I will share what happened on our appointment yesterday. Now this is what happened........... ***March 3,2022*** I've already mentioned on my last article that I have an appointment to be done. And it's related to my father's death. My appointment is all about I am asking for a "Burial Assistance". It could be so much help for us in this coming 40 days death of my father. Honestly, I don't know what to do. I don't know were will I get the fund that I am going to used on that day. If in-case I had , is it enough? You know that the goods now are so expensive. So way back to our topic. As we arrived on the area there's not too many people yet. Almost everyone there are from my town. One of them is our Barangay Official. She also asking helped for the burial assistance of her Aunt. From the time we arrived, we wait for 30 minutes until the Government Agency has opened. And as it open the lady guard gave us a priority number. I've number 3. Thanks God I'm not on the last. And a moment later, the interview started. The Social Worker asked questions about me and my family. On how do I survived on our daily living. What is my work and also to my sister. If I am married or single and many more. After the interview the Social worker instruct me to go to the one of the Partylist to asked an endorsement letter there. And after that we went back to the DSWD to submit those endorsement letter. And then as I give it to the social worker she explain everything about the burial assistance and how much would I get. And I thank them for it. It's not as big as I've expected but still any amount can do and so much help to us. The social worker give me the final thing which is a letter that I need to give to the Funeral Shop. It's validity is until March 14, 2022 so the funeral must submit it before the validity period because if it's not the helped that they've given to us will no longer be valid anymore. So as we finished there, we went home right away but we passed by first in Jollibee Fastfood because my sister requested me to bought a chicken with spaghetti. Since were already there, we decided to took our lunch since lunch time is already approaching. A moment later, were already at home. And then we leave again to submit the letter to the Funeral shop. And the man on the funeral shop told us that if they get the fund from the DSWD the shortest day that they received it was 8 weeks. So they will just call me if they have it. And we went back home to rest. It's a super tiring day but it's all worth it. We did it. Our Appointment was Successful. And it's all thanks to God for everything that we did that day. He guide us always and he makes it smoothly. And he never leave us until this moment. DENOUEMENT: Asking help is not so easy. There's this what we called process. I let the papers that I need to be forwarded into the Department of Social Welfare and Developmet (DSWD) Region to be updated. So after my work I went home and took my lunch. And then I told my future husband to get ready because we need to go to the funeral shop to update the papers. So we went there and the cashier there asked me if I am sure to the date that I picked to go to the regional DSWD which is in Tacloban City. And I said yes. So he update the papers that have. He put the said date on the paper . And so were okay. I just need to prepare the papers to be brought there. After that we went to the church to file a petition mass for my father's 30th death days. And then the next stop is to the **"Alahero"** to fixed my necklace. And lastly we stopped by in a **"pizza store"**. My sister is craving for it and so am I. And since there's this newly opened pizza store we try there pizza. And were lucky that friend of my mother sale it to my father. So it means the house that were living in is finally ours. The only problem is that the land is not ours that moment. And there this time that the owner of the land sale it to the people who had a house on there land. It's what we called it a "Rent to Own" process. I was already in High school that time happens. So I have on my right mind. I heard everything every time my mother and father talk about it. I always petty on them because we don't have a money to buy this land. So I set my mind that If I go to college I will only get a vocational course. So that I could graduate soon. And after that I will search a job right away to help my parents. The entire school year that was my goal. That 's why sometimes I feel like I'm out of this world thinking of what should I do. And sometimes I also thought of leaving in this country and search a job in other country. My mother asked her if she wanted to go to school. The response of my sister is *"I don't want to. I already have a work and I love it because I can already helped you. But if I go to school you will only spend for my school expenses instead of saving it for the land."* Until now my sister didn't come to school again. What I did today? Hello Everyone!!! ***February 28, 2022*** Today is month end. And it's paperwork's day. I'm gonna be busy later. I am still at home. My duty start at 1 in the afternoon. Actually supposed to be my duty is at 5 in the morning but I asked my co-worker to shift first our schedule for today because I have an important things to do regarding on my father's death. **[SOURCE OF IMAGE:](**https://blog.edclass.com/what-can-school-leaders-do-to-reduce-teachers-paperwork/) Yesterday one of the employee of the funeral were we get the coffin of our father came. That was my sister said. The employee asked my sister if I was around, and she asked why? And the employee replied that my sister should relay a message to me that I need to go on there shop tomorrow which each today. That is why early this morning after I took my breakfast I went to there shop . The cashier there asked me the requirements again regarding for the burial assistance that I am asking for to the DSWD (Department of Social Welfare and Development). And he gave me a new Funeral Contract that I will be given to the Local Government Unit DSWD. **[SOURCE OF IMAGE:](**https://www.formsphilippines.com/agency/15/department-of-social-welfare-and-development-dswd-) So after there I went to LGU to give the said contract. I wait a little while and the worker of the DSWD give me the case study which the last requirement that I need to get the burial assistance. But it's not yet finished. I will forward those requirements to the Regional DSWD and have an interview there before they give me what I asked for. For you information the duration from our town to the City was almost 1 hour and since we don't have our own transportation we should really be super early. That was what happened to me this half-day. The other half was my duty. I hope that my appointment on the said day will be successful. It's not that easy but I know God will always there to guide me. Connections!!! Hello Everyone!!! ***FEBRUARY 25,2022*** Today it's **Holiday** it's because now we reminisce the ***"Martial Law"***. I only knew martial law in school the time I was studying. Some people are grateful because of this ***"Military Rule"*** and some are not. My topic for today is what we called **"CONNECTIONS".** It's just a one word but it has a deep meaning to others. We have several meanings of this word so I wont define it because if I define it maybe it's not how you define it. So I suggest to search it or define it yourself. I wrote this topic because it's somewhat related on what happened to my boyfriend this day. So I will share it to you now how it was. And asked if what time would be there appointment to the City Mayor tomorrow. But his Aunt told him that, why should it be tomorrow if they can go now.* *So his Aunt asked the husband of her daughter if the City Mayor is at there home. For your information the husband of her daughter worked on the Mayor's husband that is why they asked him first before they went.* *So that's it they went at Mayor's residence. As they enter the wide ground lots of cars are parked. It's because there's a dinner party with the Mayor's people. And then as they walked into the door they saw some of the mayor's boys outside . His Aunt approached one of them and asked if the Mayor's husband is around. So his Aunt and my boyfriend told everything. And a little later he went home to my house. The conversations ends so well and my boyfriend hope that everything turns right. And for your information how it was related to connections it's because it's all about my boyfriend asking help to them. He was a Teacher and a license teacher passer, but it's almost 5 years already he haven't get in yet. He does have a part time jobs only because maybe one of those days the Division will call him and gave an item. But now it's different. He should get in this time. So were asking some help to everyone who has a connection. We think that in a practical way we should do this. Because if we just wait again maybe another year will passed again. Still Fighting the Longing of the Presence of My Father Hello Everyone!!! ***February 23, 2022*** It's another day again that had passed, but still I'm not used to my new daily living. Wherever I faced I longed for my father's presence. I don't know until when I will be like this. But I am trying myself very hard to overcome this. I am so thankful to my boyfriend and sister for they are always there beside me. I get my strength t them. Without them I don't know how to wake up everyday. As We Celebrate Our 5th Year Anniversary of Love Hello Everyone!!! ***February 20, 2022*** It's a normal day today. I went to work early in the morning with my hubby. Since my Father died his the one who go with me and send me to work. I'm not still used to it but I need to. After my duty he also get me at my work place and went home. But that's not what I want to share of. Last February 18,2022 we celebrated our 5th year Anniversary and here the details what happened that day. ***February 18, 2022*** Early morning we chatted and greet each other as we wake up. And of-course "I Love You" is there. We didn't plan on anything that day because I am still in mourning. It's just a normal day. I went to work and do my duty. And at around 12NN it's my off duty. He arrived to get me. And while we are on the road I told him to let's buy even just a cake. It's for us to remember our 5th year anniversary of Love. My Mixed Emotion Valentines Day Hello Everyone!!! **FEBRUARY 16, 2022** Two days had past since we celebrate a **"Valentines Day"** or **"Happy Hearts Day"**. Well to tell you honestly my Valentines Day is not as happy as my previous one. You knew that my father was died. I only remember the Happy memories I used to do every Valentines Day with him. The Saddest Day of my Life as this Month Entered! Hello Everyone!!! ***February 13, 2022*** This past few days I wasn't here. And the reason is that, I am so busy walking all the possibilities that can help us on what situation we are right now with my siblings. For your information I am in mourning now. My father died last February. It's like a thunderstorm to my eyes that as it light it's gone quickly like a thunderstorm. And now I am ready to share what happened that day. ***February 02, 2022 (2222)*** To others this number is lucky but to me and my sister it's the saddest day of our lives. In the afternoon at around 6, I'm with my father at home and then he mentioned me that as he cough the phlegm that comes out on his mouth was blood. So he quickly told me to went to the hospital and have a checked-up. But I hesitate to go as he told me the first time. I was worried that if we go on a check up at the hospital it could be another medication for him. For your information he is already under medication in a private clinic. So I told him to let's go there first thing in the morning. And he agreed. But a minute later, he asked me again that we badly need to go to the Hospital because the blood that comes out on his mouth are getting more already. So I told my boyfriend to prepare because we will go to the hospital. We ride the motorcycle of my boyfriend. And while we are on our way to the Hospital my father is kept on throwing his saliva and I told him to stop it and then I saw at his back that his already struggling in breathing. So I asked him if he is starting to lose breath and he said yes. So I told him to hang on because were almost at the hospital. I left him for a second because I went to the emergency room to call the Doctor or nurse, but no one is there. And then I saw my father really struggling. Thankfully there's this utility boy who saw my father that my father badly need an oxygen. He prepare the oxygen and call my father to transfer on the other couch were the oxygen is closed to it. But my father didn't hear the utility man, so I called him to transfer because he really need an oxygen. So he went to the couch were I am standing. And I put the oxygen on his nose quickly.I told him to breath in and breath out deeply. And on his third time of breathing out, he didn't breath in again. And as I saw him his not breathing already. So I shouted my boyfriend to get the doctor quickly because my father is not breathing already. And there my boyfriend shouted as much as he can and so enough the Doctor and nurses can heard us. That was the time the Doctor and Nurses helped us to let my father revived. He was revived but his pulse rate is not increasing. The nurses told me that the higher the pulse rate much better. And then the Doctor begun to speak. He told me frankly that my father is in a bad situation. He needs to be put on ICU and out those machine that can help him breath to that hose that will be put on his mouth. And the problem is that, here in our town we don't have that machine. We need to be transferred in the City of Tacloban were the Provincial Hospital is located. The other problem is that if were going to be transferred there we are on the waiting list because all the ICU's are full because of the situation we are right now (COVID-19). And if we go to the Private Hospital they will not accept us because we don't have a swab test yet. Honestly I don't know what to do anymore. We don't have a money, but I will do my best to have one just to have my father survived. So I bravely asked the doctor before I decide. If ever my father put in ICU and have this machine, could he survived? the Doctor replied; it's ***USELESS***. Because I really don't know what to do. Maybe while me and the doctor talk about this thing my father is just listening. I know he can hear us. He can't just talk but his brain is still functioning. Since it's useless even if we will to survived him, he decided to let go. And the rest is history. I can't accept the fact that he is not with us already.
