Hi there Noisers, hear my pledge for peace on earth. #ThursdaysForPeace On my Thursday it was raining for big parts of the day, and then it snowed in the late night, and I got a few pictures from my regular daily walking that I hope you will enjoy. As to my online activities, I was busy with our weekly #AliveOnThursday staking contest, where I give away 1000 ALIVE tokens every week, make sure that you apply for next week, then I also managed to finish all daily tasks as well. And now to the sad part, February 24, 2022, the day that the largest offensive war in Europe started since World War 2, and if any missunderstanding happens it could become World War 3, the end of the world as we know it, the end of the human race and most life on earth, maybe all of it, let's hope not. This happened on a Thursday, and it will be remembered for the rest of human history as a day when peace was lost, a thousand years from now people will still talk about it, if there are humans left to talk. The cost of this war in human lives, even if it's limited just to Ukraine, will be too big, and the cost to the rest of the world in terms of rising energy prices, and because of it the cost of food will have many people starving to death because there won't be enough food around. This is not the world I want, this is not the world that most people in the world wants, and I hope that this is not the world you want, so hear my pledge. >I, Erik Gustafsson, do solemnly swear that I will never intentionally kill another human being, that I will never take part in any offensive war, or otherwise incite a war to happen. >I will from now on use every Thursday for the rest of my life to work for peace, not by working against war, but for peace (there is a difference), and I will publish what I have done on these Thursdays on the Hive blockchain using the tag #ThursdaysForPeace.
