Growing up I was insecure about a lot of things. Back home where having fair skin was a beauty standard I found myself trying hard to conform. Until I went overseas and discovered that brown is also beautiful. There is no superior colour and beauty is just in the eye of the beholder. Now I am more comfortable of my skin and of what I am. I'm a brown Asian and I'm proud of it.
