St. Peter Port has always been a picture of luxury when you see all the leisure boats and yachts parked in the harbour.

Victor Hugo is a great political and literary figure of all time. Interesting enough, he spent his time on exile here in the island of Guernsey and has a very big house here. Here are some photos of our visit.
This is part of Victor Hugo's Garden. We wanted to have a picnic there but we weren't sure it is allowed.
This is part of Hauteville, Victor Hugo's House in Guernsey. This room was called Crystal Room. The glass gives it the impression of space and provides natural lighting.
Went out to feed the sea gulls in the harbour today. Initially struggled to find one. But eventually ended up with a throng of them. These are some of the photos. I hope it makes you smile as it did me.
Poetries and matching outfits. I love Lang Leav's poetry. It's about romance and broken hearts.
We made cookies! Flavour is chocolate mint chips with cashew and white chocolate.
Sea gulls of St. Peter Port Part II. I do love these birds despite them being called rats of the sky.
Stalking the bee as it's having its dinner. Nice hues of pink and purple flowers in the back ground.
Cooked egg fried rice for dinner whilst boyfriend is reviewing for his GRE exam.
These flags give me the Les Miserables vibes. Location: Guernsey High Street.
It was 18:00 in the evening, all the shops are closed but the sky looks as bright as ever. ❤️
I find this little cat in the box very cute. But price is quite overwhelming. So I will just be contented of looking.
Low tide at St. Peter Port. Having my usual ankle rehabilitation and exercise.
Green succulent flowers. I always wonder are these flowers or leaves?
Marigolds and geraniums on the street during my afternoon walks. How vivacious they are!
St. Dunstan was a church now turned garden somewhere in London.
Palais Bahia, Morocco This place has the most intricate details. I fell in love and wonder about the painstaking process of putting it all together. Interesting to note, the ceiling was hand painted by real nature colours of saffron and poppy.
My not so little adventurer and his heavy load at Chessington Adventure Park.
Wearing my boyfriend's gokart medal. He won first place today and gave his medal to me.
Carraugh Chocolates Sark. These chocolates are delivered by horse drawn carriages even to this age. ❤️
Sea horse made of wick. How pretty is it with the colourful lights on its base ❤️
This was the day I saw a lot of bored pets looking out of their respective windows. Can you spot them?
This gloomy library is actually famous authour, Victor Hugo's, library here in Guernsey. I wish the photo was better but iphones aren't good in taking photos of darkly lit rooms.
"Topping Company" I have always loved this bookstore in Bath. ❤️
"We want more pizza crust human. Feed us more!" -The Seagulls
"Bocconcini de Nonno" which translates to grandpa's little treats. But to me these are boyfriend's treats.
This was our amazing dinner last night. Black pasta linguini with Nordic salmon and shrimps. I loved this meal so much.
Hiding in the roses back in our day trip in Sark. It was a very sunny day and these flowers provided me shade and a beautiful back drop.
Beach day with the boyfriend. It's nice to get a little bit of sun and sea. Lovely day ❤️
Old scraggly dog by the beach. He was limping so hard to catch up with his owner and the young Dalmatian. My heart melted. ❤️
Making the world a happier place, one ice cream at a time. Limped my way to the sea. ❤️#icecream #summer #foodie #smile #weekend #sweettooth #pinay #guernseyicecream #guernseydairy #guernsey #islandlife
A very interesting sculpture in St. Peter Port. I'm guessing she is the queen of hearts ♥️ #art #sculpture
A very beautiful and interesting chess board with ocean creatures as pieces. I would love to buy them but it's overly priced 🥹
Oh lala! Guernsey ice cream! We are trying to beat the heat. Summer Loving! ❤️❤️❤️
Saw these cute hedgehog statues during my walk today and found them so adorably cute 🥰
Woke up early this morning. Had some granola brekky with the boyfriend and now watching One Piece with the boyfriend. Today is going to be a beautiful day.
My boyfriend is on afternoon shift this week so we had the same whole morning to ourselves. Woke up early. We decided to exercise and take a walk to Candie Gardens. He brought a book with him to review for his GRE and I read with him despite not knowing my maths anymore. It is indeed true when you don't use it you lose it. I feel like I didn't study geometry and algebra when I was quite good with it when I was younger.
Reasons why I love going outdoors despite my bad ankle. The world is too beautiful from the outside.
My boyfriend and I went to the beach to play with his camera and food. Here are some of the shots.
Playing with strawberries and the camera. Before it is gone for good 😊 🍓
This are some of my photos at Candie Gardens during our trip today. Flowers make me happy.
Can you spot the little robin staying next to the sater statue? She is so tiny and she almost camouflaged. I took so many pictures of her as she is very well tamed too. ❤️ #sunny #birds photography
Boyfriend rolling in the grass and basking in the sun. I love the child in him. ❤️
I've always been fascinated of bees feeding in flowers. ❤️
Hello beautiful people. Woke up decently early again. Now we have walked towards the beach to get some sun and study again. Waking up early has its perks.
Just another sunny day at the small town of St. Peter Port. Victor Hugo and his octopus remains as an icon. My boyfriend getting a tan as he studies ❤️
Lunch for today. A little panda bao, a couple of veggie rolls, and well the odd spaghetti. 😂
Stalking this beach doggo. I always miss having my own dog. Hopefully someday I can when I get my own house. ❤️
We went for a morning swim today. It has been a while since we swam since my injury. The water felt really cold initially.
Different shades of roses at the Candie Gardens. Which one is your favourite?
My boyfriend enjoying his summer treats. Breakfast by the sea. Amazing day as usual with the sun and the sea gulls.
Mornings in Guernsey. It's amazing to wake up and see this view. We passed it by on our way to the Bathing Pools.
Mushroom Lovers. How cute are these two together. Almost romantic.
Beautiful things that made me quite happy and pleased for today's walk.
What a lovely day! It feels like the weekend when the sun is shining this brightly and you don't have to work.
Cooked adobo for the boyfriend. Not very pretty but very yummy!
Guernsey is perfect for both summer loving humans and summer loving doggies!
Walked up to St. Peterport Harbour last night after dinner. And hanged around the pier sniffing the sea air.
Saw this today in town. It is part of the initiative called, It's a Small World. I find it very cute ❤️
My boyfriend and I did our third in a row morning swim today. And as a reward to ourselves we had some yoghurt with smarties and sprinkles.
My ankle is definitely healing now I can do more walking and exercise. Yesterday I even found myself skipping and jumping to a song yesterday. Yay!
Really tall plants. Or am I just really a small person? Hahaha. I love them 😍
Some beautiful roses from the Candie Gardens during my walk yesterday.
Playing with the dandelion. Making a wish. Make my visa come this week please.
Flowers are my thing. I am named after "flora" which is Spanish for flowers 🌻
These lovely flowers are being sold in a side walk stand unmanned by anyone. Here in Guernsey, honesty boxes are pretty common to sell flowers, agricultural produce, crafts, and baked goodies.
This afternoon my boyfriend and I walked to my friends house to have some coffee and snacks. These are my photos of my way back.
Another bee feed time. Stalking bees is one of my favourite hobbies.
My boyfriend and I met a very cute orange cat couple of days ago and befriended it and greeted it every evening. So one day we decided to actually buy it treats but it snubbed it. Today we met another cat and this one happily ate the treats. We hope to see more of him soon. Isn't he a cutie?
St. Peterport Harbour remains to be a happy place when I want a bit of sea air.
Post swim smiles. The boyfriend is happily sunning and tanning :)
The Children's Pool in Guernsey. The only bathing pool I haven't tried yet out of four bathing pools here.
Pigeons on the little coffee shop. I think they figured if they hang around longer they could get stuff from customers.
More cat feeding photos. His nose just looks like a black heart.
It rained while we were walking to the shops today. Saw these berries and thought they looked pretty with the rain drops.
Colours do make me exceptionally happy. And the best of them majorly comes from flowers and graffiti.
Teaching my Italian boyfriend how to make "lumpia" or spring rolls.
A place to study and relax. With a good shade from the sun.
We went for another rainy walk today. Rains do make the flowers more fresh looking. ❤️
Mochi and ice cream. My new addiction. We tried it yesterday and loved it so much that we went walking to waitrose again to procure 2 boxes this time.
Baby sea gulls somehow in the middle of the city with no sea. Cuties!
"Dog" a sculpture from Romans in Bath. I find this photo cute and very funny. I won't say why but when you see it 😂
Last night's dinner was just our typical pasta. We added some potato croquettes.
Sweet donkeys at the West Show in Guernsey how cute are they? Spent so much time petting them.
Wood working at the fair. I am so amazed at people who can perform their craft under public scrutiny as I am quite a shy person.
Date night at Le Petit Bistro. Some mussels and steak with wine!
The onions At the West Show. It showcases Guernsey's crops, art, and farm life.
Goats at the fair. The goats unlike the donkeys were a bit more friendly and sociable. ❤️
Afternoon tea yesterday with my boyfriend and my amazing friend Joy2x. We walked a lot to get there and hour towards and another hour home bound but we had so much fun and laughs.
If you are summer loving, then you would love Guernsey in the summers. It is surrounded by sea so you can just pick a favourite beach to swim in and do water activities in. Some are sandy, some are rocky.
Passion fruit flowers always make me think of another planet.
I found this very cute and creative. Penguins that are made of Aubergine 🍆. I love food sculpture and art!
We walked under the rain today to get some groceries and exercise. And we saw a lot of beautiful things along the way.
This is another flower dump as I am such a flower child. My gallery is full of them. ❤️
Afternoon dip at the Horse Shoe pool. Too many people in our normal pool.
My Italian boyfriend and his failed lasagna. It didn't turn out as expected but we did eat it. He was following some online recipe and it was epic fail.
My colleagues lovely senior doggo post grooming. How cute is she? ❤️
Beautiful day yesterday and our 120 meter swimathon at the Bathing Pools. Phew! Such a high tide too.
What turned out of the free giant courgette/zucchini. I call them my little half moons. They turned out pretty decent after slathering them with some cheese egg, flour, and olive oil and popping them in the oven.
Our 4th Monthsary dinner at La Piazza. I forgot to take a photo of the mains as was starving 😂
The girl and her trusty dog guarding her as she sleeps and sunbathes 😂
Fun at the beach. We love summer and swimming. Everyday is a holiday!
Happy today since the not very domesticated boyfriend made dinner and washed dishes. Meow 😻
Good morning beautiful people. Woke up quite late today. But hopefully will still be productive.
This was taken at Subiaco train station in Perth. I love these graceful dancers with a twist of cool!

Sweet piglets sleeping together at the West Show Fair. They stayed like this for hours.
Ferrets huddled together for a nap. Aren't they just adorable ❤️
Walked by the shore this afternoon. It was very hot and very low tide. These are our finds! A pirate ship!
I wish you were here. I love this waffle ice cream. It's called Cookie Monster as it has oreos and it was blue because of the bubble gum ice cream. Shared it with the boyfriend.
Our weird looking lasagna. We decided to make our own sheets but we didn't have rolling pin to flatten it so it looks a bit like a bread.
At it again at the Horse shoe pool. Very turbulent seas today. We kinda got beat up by the ocean.
28/08/2022. Things that made me smile today: Bee eating pollens, red and yellow blooms, floating sea bird, and old dog. ❤️
Immigration Nightmare I am a nurse who used to work in Guernsey and was trying to move to the mainland UK to be closer to family. So I did interviews and managed to find a job for a private company who granted me a certificate of sponsorship. I then proceeded to lodge an application for UK visa on the 9th of May this year thinking I would only have to wait 6-8 weeks to get it. I ended my job in Guernsey on the 28th of May leaving me with no work visa. But it was okay because…
Another day in paradise. Clear skies and happy dogs and sea gulls. I hope it will always be summer.
Low tide fun last weekend. Lots of sun and walksies. I just love it.
Little Robin at the Candie Gardens. It looked at me before it flew away. ❤️
Cute and cool orange car. They race around here every Sunday.
Lott koalas with strawberries on the inside. Can you believe that another site moderates this as nudity? I am very much baffled.
Banoffee waffle rolls for dessert. I had a very horrible mood today and this seemed to cheer me up.

Highest tide I have seen in St. Peter Port. We had a lovely swim today.
The fresh and the old. They are both beautiful in their own way I would say.
