Passed this house last night. It's so Christmassy. It lit up the block. Definitely eye catching 💙❤️

Bob and Betsy are my boyfriend's friends dogs. I met them last night they were both so cute. Such appetite too 🤣
Lunch today was coconut chicken curry, rice, and some poppadums. Small serve but quite good for a bar food.
They say 12 days after Christmas you must remove the tree or it will turn into bad luck. I guess this tree is coming down soon then. It's a beautiful hotel tree.
My boyfriend's truffle burger. Guess what? I ended up eating 1/3 of it and probably 1/2 of his fries 🤣#foodie
I had a bad start for the day. I woke up all sulky, sensitive, and grumpy. But we managed to climb up St. Catherine's Hill and see some cattle and I feel much better.
Boyfriend feeding me. I feel kinda bad he's got the Covid I am being so sulky. I wonder if I got it too.
The other day there was a noodle deal at Tesco and my boyfriend ended up making chicken katsu noodles. He's very much white but he made a very good asian dish. I'm proud of him. #food
My sirloin steak at the Fishers Pond at Marwell . I like my steak "medium-well." Not too chewy and not too red. How about you?
Boyfriend has Covid but is still working from home. That means it's my turn to cook. Pork katsu this time. I hope he likes it.
Say hi to this Red Ruffed Lemur at Marwell zoo. He looks very tired as weather was very cold and gloomy. ❤️
We love our pudding. Creme Brûlée and Salted caramel torte. Happiness in food. #food
Somewhere in Winchester. It was our mini getaway before my boyfriend had to isolate. Such a beautiful town.
Baked Mac and cheese by my boyfriend. I'm really lucky to have found a man who cooks for me. 🤣
St. Catherine Hill's Mizmaze. They say walking towards the centre of it could be a very profound experience. But I was too underwhelmed when I saw it as I was expecting a proper maze 🤣
I absolutely enjoy the company of a man who can cook. Today we had Italian for lunch. He whipped it up pretty quickly too. ❤️#foodie
It's 3 AM. I'm having a bit of itchy throat and insomnia. Looking at these swan photos hoping the calmness can somehow get me to sleep.
A real giraffe skeleton at Marwell Zoo. Did you know, that although giraffe has long necks they have got the same number of neck vertebrae as humans? 7 to be exact.
This is Winchester Cathedral. Another beautiful gothic structure. My boyfriend despite his bad back wanted to give me an amazing holiday and took me to Winchester as he can't drive long distance. ❤️
It feels like we were transported back in the olden days. Winchester buses are so charming. And they're still very much functional. 💚
Eating ramen like a pro. Craving ramen right now. I've confirmed that I've got the Covid. Feeling rough like having a flu. I could use some warm soup right now.
Sushi from Sakura is mine and my boyfriend's favourite. We ate this on our first date. It's quite memorable for us. ❤️
We had some gammon tonight. My boyfriend paired it with mashed potatoes stuffed in bell peppers. It was delightful. ❤️
This was a strange high tea because they put crisps on the plate which makes it seem less elegant to me. But still delicious ❤️
Having my favourite noodle Shin Ram Yun to comfort me. I added a bit of beef, egg, rocket salad, mushroom, and ginger on it to make it a little extra.
Burger dinner last night with some smiley faces. We are running out of groceries and my order arrives tomorrow morning evening so it's clear the fridge time.
Healthy breakfast from left overs in the fridge. We are getting a bit short of food now. So we've got random food. This one is some poached eggs, avocados in crumpets ❤️
Art by Hendog at Winchester city centre. I love how minimalistic it is. Little girl with a little flower. ❤️#graffiti
Cooked dinner today. Some vegetarian mung bean soup with fake beef, beans, and some rocket leaves.
Attempted to make coffee and peanut butter cookie. It ended up burnt. I think being angry reflects on cooking. I'm very moody these days I don't understand why.
Sleeping Angry. I actually can't sleep. My boyfriend and I had our first big fight this evening over something very petty. I blame it on the state of illness and my premenstrual symptoms. I am very much sensitive today and well he also is ill and have no patience. I'm looking at our happy photos thinking if this fight is going to resolve or not. Does this mean honey moon stage is over?
It doesn't say who did it but looking at the design I am willing to bet it is by Hendog again. Found this at the tunnel near the foot of St. Catherine's Hill in Winchester.
This little castle mosaic I passed by on the wall of a pub. Before I got isolated for Covid.
Sweet crumpets for breakfast this time and a bit of cappuccino. Oxygen saturation dropping to 95% from 99% I can feel the exhaustion after a couple of steps.
Uber saves the day. I have been craving sweet food yesterday and there was none left in our cupboards. Thank God for modern technology I got my ferrero waffle and my dose of sweet.
I'm so sorry if my feed is full of food. The only ever past time in isolation is to eat. These were pizzas my boyfriend made for lunch yesterday. We were having a quarrel yesterday but despite that he feeds me. On a happy note we patched things up.
Somerstown Central community hub has this at their entrance. I went there couple of days ago to collect some Covid RAT. The big colourful mural cheered me up a ton!
Filipino style spaghetti. Quick and easy lunch and a taste of home. I'm doing a bit of self care today. I had a nice long bubble bath. Feeling less down and chirpier.
Mesmerised by the Giraffes at Marwell Zoo. I was only expecting one or two of them but there were plenty. They were at the stables because it was raining outside during our visit.
The water fountains in Southsea looks prettier at night because it lights up. It looks magical.
These free roaming crowned pigeons at the Marwell Zoo were so close to me I could pet them if I wanted.
These are not cows. They are called Bantengs and they are actually classified as endangered in the wild.
Happy news. Day 6 in isolation and is now negative. Another negative tomorrow and I'm allowed to go out. ❤️
Stir fry sweet and spicy noodle for dinner tonight. Tasted good and was so quick to prepare. #foodie
This is the Vernon Mine Warfare and Monument at Gunwharf Quays. It commemorates the people who served ashore and afloat HMS Vernon.
Triple Meat Vietnamese Rice Bowl at Pho Restaurant. My first meal out of isolation. Sure looks very healthy and was very tasty too.
Whale tales. This beautiful whale tail statue is found at Gunwharf Quay in Portsmouth. Up close you can see some carvings of sea creatures on it. 💙
Cause this dress makes me feel like it's summer. I got it for 15£ instead of full price 50£ since it's out of season. Pushing to wear it in winter since I'm normally warm bodied anyway.
After a week of no chocolate I've finally managed to buy some yesterday and oh it feels great to indulge. Did you know that Toblerone was actually named after its designer Theodore Tobler and the Italian word "torrone" which is a type of nougat? I didn't I just found out last night.
The fish basket for rubbish bin is already full. It was half full the last time I was here last month. We use too much of these plastics.
Sharer meal at The King Street Tavern. My boyfriend and I struggled to finish it despite our determination and hunger. ❤️
Let me flex my new case from Kate Spade. I love Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Got is for 29£ instead of 50£ since I got it from an outlet store. Makes me so happy. ❤️
Beautiful despite the gloom at the Southsea Parade Pier. Took my boyfriend out for a much needed walk. He's had enough of being unwell. He's past Covid but still suffering from his bad back and missing his fitness regime. ❤️
Game night with the boyfriend and the step son. Fun, fun, fun! I'm winning this round I hope. ❤️
We made our own burgers tonight. We planned on ordering KFC but this turned out more fun.
Beautiful atmosphere at the Pañero Lounge in Portsmouth. I guess I've found my new coffee place ❤️
These colourful men kinda reminds me of the movie "The Mask". I'm not sure who they truly represent. #stickerart #urbanart
Till next time Southsea. Onboard and heading back to Guernsey. I feel quite sad to be leaving my boyfriend. ❤️
Finally able to take a photo of this lovely mural at The Mews Garage in Southsea. I love all the cute doggies in it 💚
More dogs at Mews Garage. This was the other wall. I wonder why they put dogs instead of cars. Since the business is a garage.
Goodies from my boyfriend's step son. I'm so happy he remembered me for Christmas. That's definitely a good sign.
Dinner at work is consist of spam and Jaffa cakes since I haven't done any groceries yet after holiday. Wish I was eating this spinach and feta shakshuka instead ❤️
I would definitely come back again at the Pañero Lounge and chill there more often ❤️
My boyfriend murdered my salmon. I was planning to cook something fancy with it but he cooked it ahead of me. I'm missing him though. I was well fed with him.
Easy dinner makes me feel like I'm in the Philippines. A warm noodle in a cold night is so amazing ❤️
Here's how the other half lives. He's making pizza on Naan bread. I miss boyfriend cooked meals. ❤️
I got a Christmas card from my penpal in Germany. We've been penpals since I was in grade school.
Another beautiful day at his office. Why can't I work near the sea? My boyfriend sent me this photo of a lovely morning in Portsmouth while here in Guernsey is a bit of a gloom.
Please don't climb on the statue (He does not like it). This little boy at the Gunwharf Quays ❤️
The man and his dog. I took this photo whilst my boyfriend and I were walking around Southsea Parade Pier. ❤️
Spinnaker Tower is very iconic at the Gunwharf Quay which is my favourite outlet shopping centre. Judging from its name it's called spinnaker tower as it is shaped like a spinnaker of a sail boat.
Exercise and food buddy. We haven't seen each other for more than a month. I enjoyed the catch up.
Post exercise Thai buffet. Because we feel like it's healthy and balanced. Take away to the rescue for the tired ladies.
My boyfriend's favourite animal at the Marwell Zoo. It's called a Serval which is a solitary cat from North Africa. Isn't she gorgeous?❤️
It's a beautiful day in Guernsey. I'm out for a little walk before breakfast. New year's resolution starting since I'm out of isolation.
Little Robin hanging about outside my flat. The photos don't do him justice as I'm too short to get a better shot. ❤️
Sinulog photos from 3 years ago. Sinulog is a festival in the Philippines to celebrate Sr. Sto. Niño. ❤️
Last day off and back to work tomorrow. Off to no good today and grabbing some yummy food. The weather is on my favour this afternoon ❤️
I had some steak and some cheese fritters for dinner tonight at a restaurant. Now back home to cook for my food for work tomorrow.
I'm an introvert and a home body but it's easy to get me out of the house. Offer me food and it's a yes. 🤣
Good morning noisers! After snoozing my alarm 4 times I'm finally up and eating breakfast. I'm doing a 14 hour shift today and tomorrow so I'm not very enthusiastic. But hey these are necessary things.
Have a colourful day everyone. Another day, another dollar. Headed for work again. May this shift be a good one. What are you up to today?
When I cook once in a blue moon. I love pasta it's quite an easy cook meal.
I finally got a chance to cook a proper and healthy meal for myself. And all before noon. Yay!
I wanted to go closer but it would mean jumping over a creek and trespassing 🤣
Afternoon walk with my fitness buddy. It was all in all a 1 hour walk plus we did yoga afterwards 🤣
Enjoying a saucy taho made by my saucy friend. For non Filipinos this is made of soya milk and pearl jelly and some sugary syrup. This is very popular street treat back home which I really miss upon going overseas.
Beautiful Moulin Huet. I am making a pact to do more outdoorsy stuff this 2022. Cold or not cold. No excuses 💙
Post workout treats. Quick snack before the metabolism goes back to being sluggish. ❤️
Another busy 14 hour shift for me today just sat down for my lunch break. Can't wait to finish today.
This was some photos of my visit to Moulin Huet yesterday. I hope I could pop in for another visit there this week.
I love gathering sea glass while my friend loves gathering pebbles.
Walking to my doctor's appointment. I hope I don't come in late today. The trees have lost their hairs.
Brunch chicken burrito bowl. It's yummy and it seems even healthy and not too heavy.
I really want to keep him. Today he was rushing to any human hands to pet him. I think he's getting cold these days. I wonder where his owner is.
I'm happy I was able to get out of the house and do my little walks around town. Seen my doctor today too.
I've done quite a lot today but I still am pending to do groceries. Am I going to be able to do it today? The laziness is setting in and binging on The Witcher.
This view used to inspire the artist Renoir. Some of his paintings were based here. Location: Moulin Huet
Good morning all. I woke up late today. It's my last day off before another back to back long day at work so I'm in an energy saving mode. But will still breathe some fresh air and leave the house cause I promise to be more active this year. ❤️
Facebook reminded me of when these dogs were still pups. And oh how they hated each other. 🤍🖤
Cute ribbon shaped pasta. Easy meal but not so healthy if eaten everyday 😂
I'm not living in Australia anymore but I would still like to wish my Australian friends and family a happy Australia Day. Australia has felt like second home to me and will always be in my heart ❤️
HMS Vernon Figurehead. The figurehead originated from the fourth HMS Vernon, a 50 gun frigate that saw active service in home waters, the Americas and the East Indies between 1832 and 1848.
My food for today which I prepared yesterday. I will not run out of energy today :) #sushi
Beautiful flower for a beautiful day at work. Busy but colleagues are very helpful. ❤️
I badly need this today halfway through my shift now. My toe blister hasn't popped yet. Hoping it won't.
Craving Bacolod style fried chicken. My Facebook memories is making my tummy cry 😭
Isn't he lovely. Our dog back in the Philippines. Thorin Oakenshield king of the dwarves 😂
My elderly patient who went home yesterday gave me this plant. I hope I see it bloom and not end up killing it.
Some more cuteness. He looks like a little polar bear. I'm obsessed with him ❤️🤍
Happy birthday to my lovely best friend in Aussie Gan. The only thing I miss more than Australia is this awesome human being who is like a mother and a sister to me. ❤️
Sinigang by @Ladymeow. Thank you for the feeding program friend. It was delicious and it reminds me of home.
We didn't have banana leaves in Perth so we used tin foil for our "Boodle Fight". Which is a Filipino tradition of sharing food in one big platter together. Originated in the military to foster camaraderie and teamwork. Eating does bring people together.
Not so early morning brisk walk. I wanted to run but it felt like my heart was going to explode so I've decided to walk instead. Beautiful flowers in my midst.
What I love about walking and being outdoors is the opportunity to see pretty things ❤️
Such a fine day. Always happy when I've got time to gaze at the sky and notice my favourite jet lines 💙
Beautiful and dewy primroses I've passed by during my walk this morning. They look fragile but they're surviving the cold so well. Which one's you're favourite?
Dinner for tonight is spicy chicken and mushroom stir fry. I had to use my mushrooms otherwise it will expire. I hope this combination tastes okay.
I was so happy to see this little caterpillar thriving by the sidewalk 💚#bugslife
Sunset back home in our backyard in the Philippines is always so breathtaking and captivating. J'adore!
My sister taunting the cat with food. I don't think the cat is impressed 🤣
Simple dinner because I'm in energy saving mode. Did not sleep well today. It's always like this for the first night shift.
