I have reading and writing overload today! I wrote 3 articles and read countless amount of articles, posts and comments. My eyes are getting wattery from too much exposure to the screens. Tomorrow I have a pleasant visit at the hairdresser for a change and maybe even spoil myself with a few new things. Why not? 😁

My cry for help was not answered and I can be so very impatient 😅
It took me a year and a half to finally write my introduction post on Hive and not being able to post it instantly drove me bananas! I have to wait till tomorrow until my RC fills up to 100% 😭 Luckily dad came with a helping hand and took me out to the forest for a walk.
The sun was already setting when we arrived and the sky turned nice shades of pink and orange. Had I been on my own, I would definitely not venture out into the woods, but with dad by my side it was a pleasant walk, despite the darkness. We walked 3.5km to warm up for longer walks tomorrow and for the rest of my stay here.

Good… afternoon I guess. My ear and head were aching last night and I fell asleep very early. Today I woke up at around 8am today and I’m in a mood for writing. I scribbled my first article, about my read.cash routine and now I’m writing my second one. Finally the day has come when I start hoarding drafts for busy days when I have no time to write. It’s like a dream come true 😅

My dental appointment went well, no cavities, so he congratulated me for looking after my teeth so well and just did a routine cleaning and fluoridation.
Pretty much same with my car - I heard no weird noises in the wheel since yesterday and of course nothing when I took my mechanic for a ride, so it looks like all issues are only in my head 😅 I still booked it for a full service on Friday.
I tell you what’s not in my head… or technically it also is! My ear is blocked and no damn spray from pharmacy is making any difference. I’ve got a headache and feel like an early night is due today. Soo… goodnight I guess 😉

First night at my parents house I really struggled to sleep until 4am. Thought it will be a good idea to wake up at 10am, so maybe I’ll get more tired by the night time and hopefully sleep better.
In 2 hours I have my dentist visit. Hopefully no cavities to fix. Fingers crossed 🤞

Some quirky mushrooms we found today on our way back to the car. Not sure what they are, but they were so huge, I had to capture them 😁
It was a perfect weather for a nice stroll in the forest today. I know auntie wanted me to stay longer, but tomorrow I have a dentist visit and my car needs to see his doctor too.

What can I say? Auntie Teresa and mushrooms won again 😅 The weather is perfect - after a few rainy days we have a sunny weather and it’s so nice to walk around forest in times like this.
Auntie has a way of putting the most embarrassing things on her head to protect from ticks! On our way back to the car we even came across a nice little lake.
Now I had a dinner and I’m off for the last 300km of my journey to my parents place. Hoping to get home by 8pm 💙
I was planning to get up early and go for one more mushroom hunt with auntie, but I watched Sissi till late at night and only got up at 1pm 🙈
Now I either have choice to upset auntie, but not going to the forest or upset dad who wants me home for 4pm to go to mechanic. What do I do?
Found some street art today while walking in town with auntie. It’s always an exciting sight for me, as I rarely see these in England.
We had some pizza while in town and back at home I had a dessert. It looked good on the shop shelf, but it didn’t taste good at all 😅

Ok, ok, I’ve been posting way too many mushrooms these days! Time for some flowers for a change.
This cute dahlia decided to greet me with her beauty just before I left home for my holiday. My phone didn’t capture its true colour, so a little edit was needed.
The plan for today was to drive to my parents, because I thought I have a dentist visit tomorrow, but dad just called and told me my dentist is booked for Wednesday, so maybe I’ll stay an extra day with my auntie 💙
One more mushroom before I go to sleep. Plus some off season blueberries. I seriously couldn’t believe how many fresh blueberries and red bilberries there still were in the forest at this time of the year. I was more interested in the berries than mushrooms today. Got a huge dose of antioxidants from these 😁
I also wanted to find one porcini mushroom and I did. I fried it separately from other mushrooms and enjoyed it on a slice of bread. D E L I C I O U S 😍

Auntie Teresa insists I wear stupid hat when we go to the forest, to protect my head from ticks. She even lies that it suits me, so I forced her to have a selfie in those stupid hats 😅
Somehow I managed to write an article this morning, but it’s so disjointed that even I can’t read it. The constant chatter never stops. Now another auntie joined and my head will explode soon. Can’t even hide in another room, cause they’re shouting from the kitchen 😅

I’m still at my nan’s place today. She terrorised me yesterday saying she will be crying if I go home, so I had to stay another day 😉 She’s trying the same tactics today, but I can not give in. Will stay for the day anyway and maybe go for another forest trip. Those blueberries are calling me.
So we went mushroom picking today. We collected a few, but since I realised there are still some blueberries and other red type of berries that I don’t know the name in English, I was more interested in picking these straight to my mouth 😅 There are more of them here out of season that I collected back home in season!
Still, we picked some mushrooms too!
I slept through half a day, so we went to the forest only at 4pm. It was nice and sunny when we left, but rather foggy on our way back. Forest looks so mysterious in that fog.
Still, we managed to pick quite a few mushrooms. Most are either old and wet or eaten by various creatures.
My traveling quizzes did well! Around 30 comments on each is much more interest that my usual posts get, so a success overall I’d say.
First post had no right answer, so it’s only fair that I distributed 2 prizes for the second post. The first answer was ferry post in Dover. The winners of the second one were SunnyLife and Cryptozeug. They both new I was in Germany.
In the meantime Im in Poland for more than 24h. I had to catch up on sleep, so I slept 14h. I guess 7h extra for the night I missed while driving 😉

Popsicle used to be a normal grey rat. Today he decided to have a new haircut, put on Dalmatian skin and go for a walk in the forest.
Zac on the other hand went to hit his head against the brick wall, frustrated by the bch logo search, then he fell asleep in the fitting room.
