How to Cope With Stress?

Young or old alike, people usually experience being stressed out. The words "I'm stressed" have been used by a lot of people as an expression.

We have various reasons why we are stressed out. It may be due to family problems, loosing a job, health issues, emotional disorder or even the death of a loved one. Some people may feel stressed out because of the negative events that happens nowadays and others may feel stressed out with their lovelife or probably because someone they like does not like them back. And some read cash users are stressed because their points are not going up or earning very little despite doing everything to earn more points. Whatever the reason may be, it's not good nor easy when we are stressed out. It's not a great feeling either.

But what is stress? Stress is our bodily reaction over a hard situation or any event that makes us feel frustrated, nervous or angry. When we hear the word stress we often associate it with negative feelings or the negative impact but in reality stress is the body's natural reaction that will help us face and cope with hard situations. It can even help someone to be motivated in doing something to achieve a certain goal. For example when stressed out someone will be opted to do good in an examination or a job interview. However, when our stress level becomes high it will lead to undesirable results such as:

  • Being irritable

  • Depression

  • Migraine

  • Insomnia

  • Stomach ache or Diarrhea

  • Hyperventilation

  • Vomiting

I remember a magazine I read months ago and here are the few things that will help someone cope up with stress:

Know the things or situations that stresses you out. When you know the reason of your stress it is possible for you to prepare for it and make some adjustment. When we are tensed, usually we are unable to think well so before you even face a stressful situation think of how you will react better when you are already in that situation.

Make your expectations realistic. We are usually stressed out if our expectations are not reached specially if it's too high. So, don't be a perfectionist. Be realistic.

Talk to others. It feels better when you talk your problems out with someone. This one is very effective to me everytime I'm stressed out, I talk about it with my friends.

Exercise and eat healthy foods. Taking care of your body decreases the chance of being stressed out so have a balanced diet and exercise regularly. A simple jog or brisk walking will also help release tension and stress. Personally, eating sweets like chocolates or ice cream helps me a lot whenever I feel stressed.

True enough, we cannot totally avoid not to be stressed out but we can cope with stress. I hope this article somehow helps those who are stressed out.

Sometimes stress can help a person be better if you know wjat stresses you you could adjust yourselve to solve this things that causes stress to you and stress can also be very dangerous if a person cant cope with stress these could lead them to suffer in depression or other psychological illness

Without stress there would be no fun in relaxation, without sorrow, being mirthful would feel dull, without black and white, the colors would have no contrast. Yeah right, we can be stressed even in small things. It is on us on how we deal and face it. As part of the society, we're not only stress because of work, study, household chores or what so ever. We're being stress by just caring ourselves, on what to wear, where to eat, the deadlines, what to do for tomorrow. But it all fade off if we achieve something about it. So let's all beat stress! That make your expectations realistic is always the reason why many people are stress. People are always expecting good and not accepting the failure. We should accept that fact that not everything in this world is achievable,accept the failure and learn from mistakes, and do not stress ourselves too much just because of that matter.

Actually I already said these words to Pluma, I'm actually easy get irritated of small trash talks and words that for me are negative to my ears. I get easily pissed when depress so, I'm under Anger Management now to control this emotions inside me. I always try to look for positive things now, even getting muted for 3 days,😂 I just think of that as vacation. Well my friend thank you for sharing this ideas.
