This coming Wednesday is my firstborn’s 5th birthday. And unlike last year, this time I have no special preparations. Before September started we’ve been through a “financial problem”, it's just there was an unfortunate event that happened. Until my phone was damaged and got repaired a few weeks ago so another expense. So, I intended to just buy him a cake and balloons. He requested Dinosaur balloons so, before September, I already bought those dino balloons for him. But I am surprised by the blessings my family shared with him for his birthday. They wanted their first grandson to have a happy celebration this Wednesday so my aunts and his grandparents pledge something for him. My tita who just came home from Manila gave 1.5k for his Spaghetti and other food. While his grandmother (my mother's side) who has a cake shop pledged to make a Dino cake for him for free. While his grandmother on my father's side pledged 1tube of ice cream for him. While my father delivered 1 case of soft drinks last Saturday. And his uncle pledged to rent a karaoke machine. I wasn't expecting these blessings, they just happened all of the sudden. I am very thankful I have a kind family on both sides, they just love their grandson that much. ☺ Ps: I already bought 3 packs of Spag, I'll add another 1pack tomorrow, you know we're a huge family in the residence. 😅
