A Chilly June Days passed so fast, and opening of classes is fast approaching too. These days, June has been changing weather drastically, from hot to cold, and presently it is giving me chills. Rainy day, it's actually a good weather, no sweats, however, for someone like me who has weak immune system, it's challenging. A few days ago, I suddenly caught a sore throat and an itchy cough. Before anything get bad, I immediately replenished myself with water, I did water therapy. And for my itchy throat, I took ceterizine. Now, I'm feeling a lot better. My sore throat is gone, however the weather is making me chilly. I noticed, I am not feeling well in cold weathers anymore. My cough is on and off too. But it's not that worrisome, unlike the cough I had last year. Despite the cough I am experiencing now, seems like my body is slowly recovering now. ***How can I say that?*** Yesterday, I've done so many things, many than the things I usually do from getting sick. At 9 am, my eldest son and I went to his school for his enrollment. Supposedly, we should've have him enrolled last Monday, but since it's the first day of their enrollment, the school was too crowded. And because my immune system is not yet fully recovered, I decided to let the days passed so the enrollment will go smoothly and not too crowded anymore. The enrollment went fast, and we went to the market to pay the electric bill. The transaction was quick too, and after we went home, I prepared lunch. After I prepared lunch, I did some laundry, and that time, I washed more clothes that what I usually washed when I was recovering. I did washed a full load of our laundry basket. After cleaned the soiled clothes, we had our lunch first. After lunch, I took a quick rest and rinsed the washed clothes. Since we're using a water hand pump, I am giving an extra effort of my strength. Then, my cousin who's watching me, told me... "Cous, looks like you're not catching your breath anymore. That's a good sign!" And I noticed that too! Looks like the supplements, the veggies, and the fruits worked. Also, I limit my caffeine and sugar intake too. I am not eating chocolates too and also soda. I'm so glad I'm slowly recovering now. My palpitations are bearable too and my breathing is getting good too. However, despite the good news, I'm not forcing myself to do heavy works, I still limit myself because I know I'm still far from fully recovered. I just wanted to share this happy news here, I wanted to share how joyful I am that my body is on it's road to recovery. Yet, my body weight is still not good, though I haven't checked my weight yet, but I know to myself that I am still underweight. But I know, in God's perfect time and of course, my dedication too, despite short comings financially, I know I can do this. That's all for today, hoping this good happenings will continue, and the cough will stay away from me too. ☺️🙏🏻 @eommaZel@eommaZel

Strengthening our immunity is important, especially with this ever-changing weather. I personally aim to get lots of sleep as I noticed lack of sleep mainly is the reason I get ill. Oh, and need lots of water, too. Plus prayer, of course. 🙏
Indeed, a good night's sleep contributes a lot in our health sis. And more water really helps too. That's why I seldom sleep late, and of course, the prayers shouldn't be forgotten. Btw, thanks for the upvote. 🤗
