Today is the most awaited day here in my hometown. We will be celebrating the opening of the lights festival or Iwag Festival. In Ilonggo, Iwag means light. π€ This celebration is annually every 16th of December. Our little hometown is known as the Christmas Capital of Western Visayas and after 2 consecutive years of no celebration because of the pandemic, people here are so excited to witness it once again. And of course, I will witness the comeback of this Festival too, and for sure this would be a great subject to blog about later on. Here's a glimpse of what you could see on our plaza later, which I found on Facebook. Here's the link source of the photo I attached. βΊ https://www.facebook.com/100018304512009/posts/pfbid0FNzfeygJLCARz9oz3jWD42tLgNj85iqcXqLL2c2e5938x4hafMAN17aLPVZ4Mn1cl/?app=fbl
