@eommaZel more from that month

“Pneumonia seems to like you, my dear” July 23, 2025 It's very late but I'm glad that I went back to my doctor for a follow-up check-up. Supposedly, I shall be back last July 17, however, typhoon hit our country and affected our hometown for a couple of days. Until, on the 23rd of July was the day which my father is free too to accompany me. We arrived early at the clinic, and I told my father and his new partner to find something to eat for breakfast because they said they didn't eat breakfast that day. The doctor came early, probably 9:30 am, only a few patients were present, some were not yet at the clinic. I was number 5 on the list. It was quick, when it's my turn, my doctor checked my breathing and he heard phlegm on my lower left lungs. After he said that, I felt something is not right. He prescribed me another acetylcysteine 600mg for 30 days and requested me for an X-ray since he heard a phlegm. `“Pneumonia seems to like you, my dear. When was the last time we had your x-ray?”` my doctor said and asked. He already suspected pneumonia but he didn't prescribed me antibiotics yet until the result is released. He also added that my Carvedilol will be my lifetime maintenance for my heart. He also told me to apply for a **PWD** (Person with Disability) ID since I have a heart problem. I will process this sooner when I get better. After the check-up, we went back to my hometown and have myself an X-ray as he requested. To be honest, I have a trauma with x-rays, since I have severe pneumonia before, I can't remember how many times I did some x-rays until I get a clear result. After lunchtime, the result was released and unfortunately I caught a Pneumonia again on my lower lungs. 🥺

Thankfully, this time I have no pleural effusion (water in the lungs). Maybe that's why I am feeling very weak and I'm struggling even I took a single step on a stair. To be honest, my father helped me with my medicines, he bought half of the prescriptions (Acetylcysteine). Now that I have pneumonia again, I don't know where to get money to buy whatever antibiotics my doctor will prescribed me again. It's so hard to be sick. Especially when you're financially unstable and you're a stay at home mother with no income at all. I couldn't even clean the house, I can't do all the chores, and my doctor forbidden me to do so. He said I have weak lungs and I need to be extra careful with my heart, so he forbids me to do physical tasks especially medium to heavy works at home. I still don't know when we will be coming back to my doctor again, since my father is the one accompanying me, hopefully my pneumonia will be gone with oral medicines unlike what I had before (injectable) that was very expensive. Now, I'm taking a rest along with the heavy rains. Getting enough energy and hydrating myself with water. I honestly hate this feeling of getting sick, especially pneumonia, but it's my fault too. I thought I was already fine that I did heavy works at home. I ignored my health again because I thought I am already healed but I was wrong. I may be healed to look outside but the truth is, my weak lungs and heart inside needed extra care. Now, I learned my lesson again. Praying and hoping that I will be fully healed sooner.
