“A heart filling Friday” My July ends well with a new hope for the new month, a hope for healing and recovery. Today's a fine day, as I am facing everyday positively, as usual I am still on my meds, currently at my 6th day of taking antibiotics *(Xiflox)*. Finally, I'll be done with my treatment tomorrow. Every morning when I wake up, I am hoping for a better feeling, less cough, less weak muscles, and less shortness of breath. And to be honest, my cough is lesser, and with lesser to no more phlegm too. However, my breathing is still not fine, I still feel weak and with shortness of breath especially whenever I make a lengthy movements. But I know that these symptoms may linger for a couple of weeks despite the treatment. So I chose to rest all the time, may it be sitting on the chair or lying down in the bed, and taking a nap, that's my routine presently. And to be honest, I miss moving around the house, do the chores and my obligations too. ***But today let's set aside my sickness, I decided to write this article because I am touched by my cousins. They made my Friday a heart filling day. And I wanted to share with you how they made me feel cared today.*** My cousins, Jake and Allan were sitting outside the house and the three of us were always sharing stories and making chitchats too. The three of us are very close, especially me and Allan. We are like siblings that we share our tiniest secrets with one another. And today, when we suddenly talked about laundry, since the sun was up and it's windy, they suddenly asked me if my husband washed my clothes already. I said, not yet, my husband said he will do it on Sunday since it's his day off. And honestly I have no more clothes left for tomorrow. 😅 My cousins looked at me with concern, then suddenly, my cousin Jake offered me that he will bring my clothes to their house so he could wash it since they have a washing machine and so I don't have to worry about my clothes anymore. At first, I was shy, I said it's okay, but he insisted and my cousin Allan agreed with Jake too. So, I gathered my used clothes and my cousin Allan put them in the laundry basket and told me that he and cousin Jake will do the laundry today for me. And at 4pm, cousin Allan surprised me with my clothes. They were all dry instantly. He said, the heat of the sun at cousin Jake's house was too hot making my laundry to dried up instantly. Now, I have clean clothes to wear. ☺️ And today, I truly felt their care for me and I told myself how lucky I am with my family. It may be a simple gesture but for me, it's already huge and made my heart flutter. I can see how they truly care and love me as their cousin. I am indeed blessed to have caring and kind cousins especially at this point of my life, where I need companion, care, and understanding about my situation. That's why I am doing my best too to recover faster. I don't want to be a burden to anyone, but in this situation of mine now, I have no choice, I can do nothing on chores, all I have to do is to follow my doctor's advice, take the meds, to take care and help myself to recover. Because I know, my family will be happy seeing me in good shape again. *That's it for now, I have to rest my eyes and my body. Thank you for dropping by. 🤗* @Read.Cash@Read.Cash@eommaZel

I know how it feels to be sick and helpless, but when family steps in with love — it really heals the soul. Thank you for sharing such a warm and real story. 🤍
