Cats vs. Cucumbers

I've watched couple of videos online showing cats getting terrified by cucumbers. Those videos always getting thousands of views which went viral.

Viral video compilations I've seen have shown cats fleeing of fear and shocked cats when it saw a cucumber beside or behind it, resulting of the cat bouncing up high into the air and never dare to touch the cucumber. The videos of the cats and cucumbers are fun to watch.

My siblings enjoyed it so much. They laugh hard about the videos. I wonder why cats are terrified with cucumbers? Are they rivals in their past lives? ***Why cucumbers frightened some cats?***

The cucumber looks like enough and shaped more like to snakes with it's curving sides than other veggies like eggplants and through the cat' instinctive fear of snakes it'll cause cats to panic.The cat will jump a couple of feet if it sees something slithering over the ground. ***My opinion about cucumber pranks towards cats:***

Everytime we scared an animal like cats, the risk of inflicting pychological damage has been done to them. The cats will become afraid not only to cucumbers. Though it is fun to watch and gives you laughter it may developed long term effects on their mental health.
