Boeing 737-500 landed in Ipoh airport 7 years ago, and took me to Medan on a direct flight. It is unfortunate that the project wasn't fruitful and the flight route was subsequently canceled. Wouldn't it be great if we could get more direct routes to and from my city? But with the collapse of the tourism industry, one can only hope for a quick recovery of the economy.
