Went out for lunch with the fam at this "mixed rice" restaurant. I am not sure if this is a familiar concept for other countries but here in Malaysia and even in Singapore, as far as I am aware, these dishes are cooked already, and we point to what we want, if there is a server to scoop it for us, or we scoop them ourselves (type and quantity) onto our plate of rice. Then we go to the cashier and they will inform us how much we need to pay. What makes one mixed rice shop different from another, besides the price range, is the variety of dishes available for our choosing. This one has at least 80 to choose from daily. Well, except Sundays because it's their rest day.
