Final Push

[#243] Date: 27th January, 2022

I have just finished what needed to be done today, with some other work I'm keeping for tomorrow, the last day of the workday for January, before our office is closed for 9 long days, including two weekends. This is ONE LONG BREAK! Woohoo. I deserve it.

But for right now, I am just getting breathless in this final push and hope that I survive this. I know, there is this feeling of déjà vu, as this was what happened at the end of December, when I thought that I would be letting go of most of my portfolio by New Year, and go into semi-retirement. That didn't happen, and I only released half of it that I had anticipated.

Although this month is a lot more relaxed compared to the past few years, there were still rush moments where I was required to work through long hours into the night just so that my team could handle their part the following day. Oh well, this is part and parcel of agency life that I still can't fully escape from. Not right now.

It's weird how, even with a lighter workload, I am going to bed later and later, sometimes staying up till 2 or 3, tapping away at my keyboard, I don't even know why I haven't been able to do it earlier in the day. I really need to fine-tune my sleep routine and pack more work into my day, rather than grind at night. This is not good for my health and I can really feel the strain on my body.

Anyway, today, I have been thinking of the route to cash out my VIS earned from Pegaxy. As you may have read, I claimed my first earnings already a few days ago, and the VIS is still now sitting in my wallet. VIS price is going up, so I don't mind, but I still want to test with a small amount the withdrawal route.

The easy way is to go through Binance, but the problem with Binance is that it's not allowed to operate legally in my country. While some might be able to log in still and even transact, I am afraid that my deposit gets trapped in Binance and unable to withdraw to a wallet or a local, legalized exchange. Huhuhu... that will be tough. I am thinking of trying out the different options with $50 per route. That's gonna cost me, and I don't want to risk it especially now when I am looking to procure my second pega, either purchasing from the market or breeding. So, it's still best to have USDT in my account to snipe at the fleeting opportunity.

Oh, did you know that the pega floor price has risen to 1100 USDT? It's higher than my purchase price now, so I don't feel that bad for buying my pega at the top. However, it also means that my 2nd pega is once again, slightly out of reach because I am trying to get something that's within the amount I have in my Metamask wallet, rather than getting assistance from others to transfer for me.

Anyway, for now, I just learned to park my VIS-USDT pools with KyberSwap for the time being and earn some liquidity pool rewards while I wait for my second payout. Perhaps by then, I have more clarity on my next step, to buy a pega or to breed one. There's some homework that needs to be done on this. Perhaps this CNY break. See how I give myself work to do?

There is always joy when you finish up today's job on time, you will have time to set other things up... Working on time should be promptly in order to relief oneself from work load aftermath or what do you think?

What a day over here too...

Peace

Without work load still you sleep at 2 to 3am, this is truly not good for your health. You should try to change your routine.
