With so much rainfall that's common for yearend weather, the grass in my compound has been growing at a faster pace and wildly while waiting for our grass cutter whom we engage, to come once a month. We now have a lot of this wild blooms.

I used to stay at hotels very often... during pre-COVID life... and I've encountered lots of issues in the various accommodations, from bamboo huts, village houses, homestays to 5-star resorts. This hotel in Johor was one of the more memorable ones, as Facebook Memories reminded me of my stay there! What a mess when I checked in.

DUHHH Any cat owner, or even non-cat owner like yours truly knows how easy it is to keep a cat vs. a dog.. yet, here she is, looking for things to do. In Cantonese, we can, "Eat full nothing to do" or "Eat full waiting to pass motion". HAHAHAHA

Chinese New Year falls on 1st February next year, a little early, I say. Usually, we have our reunion dinner at a nearby hotel but I think that will change for 2022. Maybe just eat at home. I visited this kuih-making factory one time. Kuih is a type of Malay snacks, and this snack is known as "bahulu". It's one of my dad's favorite, provided it's not too sweet. This is green in color, different from the usual brownish original color because this is pandan-flavored. pandan is screwpine. I like bahulu also, just not as much as him. Maybe I can pick up baking again when I am semi-retired. LOL

Went out to the tailor's just now to get a custom shirt made, corporate-style. RM180, which is like US$42 - US$43. Hahaha look at this. At first, my dad said to leave the paw prints alone... Then he himself couldn't tolerate the sight and mended about 90% of the prints, as I said to leave some of them as memories of this naughty furbaby.
